For legends Diana Taurasi and Sue Bird, life in the WNBA paled in comparison to the lavish treatment they received in Russian professional basketball, courtesy of their team owner and benefactor, Shabtai Kalmanovich. Kalmanovich spoiled his stars, showering them with expensive gifts, luxury hotels, and private concerts -- but he was a man with a shadowy past. Eventually, the two stars would have to reckon with what they'd gotten themselves into. Reported by Keith Romer. Hosted by Jody Avirgan. More at 30for30podcasts.com

Great job by some smart people to get baseball's dumbest fanbase to invest money in promotional material for The Yankees... For every "Yankees Suck" shirt that was sold to a Red Sox fan, *5* Japanese, Dominican, & British people went to their local sports store (Which doesn't sell "Yankees Suck" shirts) and bought Yankees hats or Jeter jerseys instead. Even bad free promotion is still free promotion and you can bet your last dollar that The Yankees profited more from those shirts coming out than Boston did. Baseball is a Global sport now, and what has/is/always will be the #1 selling team merchandise? The New York Yankees. How many kids overseas do you see wearing "Yankees Suck" shirts compared to wearing Yankees hats & other merchandise??? So, as a Yankees fan, thanks Boston fans for buying those ugly rag shirts.
