Season 1 Recap Bunker orphan Ace is an outcast in the underground bunker complex known as Subterra. Desperate to escape, Ace repairs and reactivates a robot dog that contains embedded codes that unlock a hidden elevator to the surface of the planet. Along the way, he confronts mutant creatures of the deep and a ruthless Sentry who wants Ace dead. With Hazel’s help, he manages to elude the Sentry and arrives at what he thinks is the surface, only to discover it is an upper level bio-containment facility called Wintergarden. That is where he meets Mallan Locke. A ruthless Sentry plans to kill Ace by throwing him into the lava vats in the Hell’s Gate forge.

Ace travels to the mining camps to speak with an old friend but walks into a trap.

Ace’s journey is derailed when he is attacked by a mutant creature.

Ace repairs a discarded robot dog and names her Hazel as the past haunts him.

In the midst of Subterra’s garbage dump, Ace retrieves an item that is crucial to his plan.

Ace is chased by a lethal canine robot through the dangerous tunnels of Subterra.

Bunker orphan Ace begins his mission to escape Subterra.
