Tall Tales

Today you will be hearing the short story Anansi Goes Fishing.  The Anansi stories are Ghanaian folktales centering around the main character Anansi.  Anansi is often portrayed as a spider. He's lazy and devious and gets into a lot of trouble.   Anansi and his friend Turtle go fishing.  Anansi hopes to trick Turtle into doing all the work, but Turtle has other plans for Anansi.... This is a story bout a spider named Anansi. An African folktale that originated in Ghana. The Anansi stories follow a man named Anansi, who is usually portrayed as lazy spider. This podcast tells the story of Anansi and the Moss Covered Rock. This is my first podcast and the audio may be a bit off... But I ask for your patience. My podcasts will improve with time!
