We’re going through Mark’s gospel one verse at a time, and come back to chapter eight today. In verses eight through twenty-one Jesus is approached by the Pharisees who go on to ask Him for a sign from heaven. They made a terrible mistake in doing so, but it’s something we can learn from if we’re willing.

God's judgment will be executed upon mankind for the rebellion that they have chosen to give themselves to. So many people don't believe it's going to happen because that judgment appears to be delayed. But in God's calendar there is no such thing. For believers it's critical we understand what that timeline looks like because God uses it for us in ways the world will never understand.

But nothing can compare to what we’re about to read in Mark chapter thirteen, when the antichrist seeks to kill the Jews. It will be the worst time in human history! And God instructs the Jews of that day to flee to the mountains.
