Description
Voiced by veteran talk show host Adam McManus and written by radio-host and pastor Kevin Swanson and a team of other staff writers, The World View in 5 Minutes is a round-up of the daily news from a Biblical perspective. And, perhaps most uniquely, you will often hear applicable Scriptures paired with the stories themselves. It’s part Paul Harvey, part R.C. Sproul.
You’ll get hooked to the most definitively Christian overview of the news including politics, pop culture, the church, and tracing God’s sovereign hand in the affairs of man.

Iran's new Ayatollah vows to 'shed Trump's blood'
An Iranian ayatollah called for the "shedding" of President Donald Trump's blood in a chilling revenge statement broadcast on Iranian state television on Thursday, reports The Express.
Ayatollah Javadi Amoli - one of Iran's most senior Islamic clerics - declared that the nation was "on the verge of a great test" and urged "the shedding of Zionist blood, the shedding of Trump's blood" on state television.
Exiled Iranian Prince commends Trump for bombing Iran
By contrast, in an interview on CBS’ 60 Minutes, Prince Reza Pahlavi, the eldest son of the deposed last Shah of Iran, a leader of the opposition to the Iranian Islamic Republic, commended President Donald Trump for bombing the Iranian military sites.
PAHLAVI: “My message to President Trump is that I'm here to echo and join millions of my compatriots inside and outside of Iran to thank him for having the courage to do what is not easy, but intervene. He will go down in the annals of Iranian history as the most celebrated foreign leader that changed the ball game and changed the world as a result.”
Pahlavi, who has lived in exile 47 years, is the most prominent figure in the opposition to the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Former homosexual acquitted for describing Christian conversion
In what is viewed as an important international victory for freedom of speech and religion, Matthew Grech, a singer and former X-Factor contestant who has been prosecuted in Maltese courts for three long years for having spoken out publicly about leaving homosexuality, was acquitted Thursday morning, reports LifeSiteNews.com.
He was joyous outside the courthouse.
GRECH: “I'm standing with my friends and colleagues here at the Maltese courts, and I want to tell you guys that we won. The court has decided in our favor and has pronounced me and the co-accused as innocent.
“It is a big day. I'm very thankful that the Maltese courts decided for freedom of speech. The Maltese courts decided for freedom of religion and has announced that I had every right to share my Christian views around sexuality and gender, and to mention organizations that are helping Christians to live consistently with their belief system.”
Matthew Grech cited 1 Corinthians 6:9-11.
“The Bible says in the book of Corinthians some of you were homosexuals, adulterers, you name it, but you were washed, sanctified, justified in the name of Lord Jesus. This is the good news. This is the Gospel. It offers hope, change and transformation.”
Trump fires DHS Secretary Kristi Noem
TRUMP: “You’re fired!”
On Thursday, after a painful couple of days of testimony before Congress, Kristi Noem, the Secretary of Homeland Security, was fired by President Donald Trump, reports ABC News.
In addition to the expected attacks from Democratic Senators on DHS, Republican Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana asked Secretary Noem pointed questions about whether President Trump signed off on her decision to authorize $220 million on Homeland Security ads which prominently featured her.
Listen.
NOEM: “I have a policy in place that I review contracts. My deputy chiefs have the ability to review anything under $5 million. Above that, I evaluate and look at.”
KENNEDY: “Okay, and you do that, I understand, to try to curb waste and abuse of taxpayer money. Is that right?”
NOEM: “Yes, sir. In fact, it's been extremely effective.”
KENNEDY: “How do you square that concern for waste, which I share, with the fact that you have spent $220 million running television advertisements that feature you prominently?”
NOEM: “Sir, the president tasked me with getting the message out to the country, and to other countries where we were seeing the invasion come from, with putting commercials out that told them that if they were in this country illegally, that they needed to leave, or we would detain them and remove them, and they'd not get the chance to come back to America the right way. That has been extremely effective.”
(crosstalk)
KENNEDY: “The president asked you to run these advertisements. Is that right?”
NOEM: “We had that conversation, yes, before I was put in this position and sworn in and confirmed, and since then as well.”
KENNEDY: “Okay. You're testifying that President Trump approved this ahead of time. Is that my understanding?”
NOEM: “We had conversations about making sure that we were telling people across …”
KENNEDY: “No, ma'am, I'm asking you, sorry to interrupt, but the President approved ahead of time you spending $220 million running TV ads across the country in which you are featured prominently?”
NOWEM: “Yes, sir, we went through the legal processes. worked with [Office of Management and Budget].”
KENNEDY: “Did the president know you were going to do this?
NOEM: “Yes.”
KENNEDY: “He did?”
NOEM: “Yes.”
KENNEDY: “Okay.”
In response, President Trump told Reuters, “I never knew anything about it.” RedState.com speculates that the exchange between GOP Senator Kennedy and Kristi Noem was her undoing.
Shortly after his comments to Reuters, Trump posted to Truth Social that Noem would be replaced. The president said he was "pleased to announce that the Highly Respected United States Senator from the Great State of Oklahoma, Markwayne Mullin, will become the United States Secretary of Homeland Security, effective March 31, 2026."
This marks the first Cabinet secretary Trump has fired in his second term.
Anniversary of Christian martyrdom of 22-year-old Perpetua
And finally, the church remembers the martyrdom of Perpetua, a 22-year-old Christian noblewoman in Carthage, North Africa on March 7th A.D. 203.
She was executed alongside Felicity, a pregnant slave woman imprisoned with her, to cruelly celebrate the birthday of Caesar Geta, the son of emperor Septimius Severus.
Simply because they were Christians, they were flogged, attacked by hungry leopards, and finally beheaded.
Listen to this excerpt from a 30-minute animated video in The Torchlighter Series.
PRISON CARETAKER: “As prison caretaker doing duty in the stench-filled underground cells, I've gotten a glimpse of many a prisoner's own faith or lack of it.
MAN: "Please no. I don't want to die."
PRISON CARETAKER: "I don't judge them. I too would fear the mauling beasts and death. But what I saw today in a young woman and her companions, such courage I have never seen before.”
Joshua 1:9 says, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

9 Nigerian Muslims on trial for killing 200 Christians
Nine Fulani Muslim herdsmen are on trial in Nigeria for participating in the massacre of over 200 Christians in the country last year.
Christian Daily International reports this is a rare case of prosecution against the Fulani herdsmen.
The prosecution comes as the United States is calling on the country to combat Christian persecution. The U.S. is considering a bilateral agreement with Nigeria to protect Christian communities there and eliminate jihadist terror.
Psalm 7:9 says, “Oh, let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish the just; for the righteous God tests the hearts and minds.”
Nigerian Anglicans reject the homosexual agenda of Church of England
Speaking of Nigeria, the Global Anglican Future Conference is meeting this week in the West African country.
The movement of conservative Anglican churches, mainly in Africa and Asia, supports Biblical sexuality. The group has effectively broken off from the Anglican Communion led by the Church of England. Sarah Mullally is set to become the first female archbishop of Canterbury in the Church of England. Sadly, she supports blessings for homosexual couples.
The Global Anglican Future Conference now plans on appointing its own leader who will represent Biblical values. The conservative group says it represents 85 percent of the world’s practicing Anglicans.
Christian teacher vindicated for refusing to say inaccurate pronouns
In the United States, an Indiana school district agreed to pay $650,000 in a religious freedom lawsuit.
Brownsburg Community School Corporation forced John Kluge, a Christian music teacher, to resign for not using biologically incorrect pronouns.
David Cortman with Alliance Defending Freedom commented on the case. He said, “After almost five and a half years, common sense has prevailed at Brownsburg. … Schools should learn that refusing to accommodate religious employees can be illegal and expensive.”
Red state families having more babies than blue state families
The Institute for Family Studies reports that the women in red states are birthing more babies than those in blue states since the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 20 states that voted Democrat in 2024 saw a decline in people in their 20s and kids under 10 compared to 2019. Meanwhile, Republican-leaning states often had cheaper housing and tended to attract parents with young kids.
States like Idaho, South Carolina, Florida, and Tennessee saw a 10% increase in married families with young children over the last five years. States like California, New York, and Illinois saw a decline in such families.
Trump cut federal workforce by 12%
The federal government’s civilian workforce shrunk by over 380,000 people during the first year of President Donald Trump’s second term.
That’s a 12% workforce reduction between September 2024 and January 2026. The U.S. Office of Personnel Management reported the numbers yesterday.
Scott Kupor, the director of the agency, said, “This effort ensures taxpayer dollars support a workforce that delivers efficient, responsive and high-quality services.”
Mortgage rate fell to 5.98%
Mortgage rates fell below six percent for the first time in years.
The average 30-year fixed mortgage rate fell to 5.98 percent last week. It has not been that low since September 2022. Recent rates peaked at 7.8 percent in October 2023.
Mortgage rates have been coming down slowly since the Federal Reserve began cutting its benchmark interest rate last year.
Only 4% of American adults have Biblical worldview
And finally, Dr. George Barna released his latest survey on Biblical worldview.
Sadly, only four percent of U.S. adults have a Biblical worldview. That’s unchanged compare to 2023 and down from 12 percent in 1994. Most Americans, over eight in ten, may believe some Biblical principles but often think and live in ways that conflict with the Bible.
Also, only two percent of young adults have a Biblical worldview. The survey noted, “Despite the increased attention given to faith matters after the Charlie Kirk murder, and the growth in church attendance and individuals purchasing Bibles immediately after that incident, there is no hint of improvement when it comes to Biblical worldview.”
However, Dr. Barna wrote, “We reached a low point—4%— in 2023. The fact that we have not plumbed new depths since then hopefully suggests that we have bottomed out and are in line to experience positive growth in biblical thought and action.”
Romans 12:2 says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

Pray for the Middle East
Please pray for Christians in the Middle East as tensions rise in the region.
Christian communities, like those in Iran, are especially vulnerable during times of escalating violence.
Regina Lynch with Aid to the Church in Need warned, “The longing for freedom and dignity among peoples in the region is legitimate. But the price of renewed war could be extremely high. Civilians always suffer most, and Christians are often among the most defenseless.”
U.S.-Iranian conflict might last four weeks
U.S. President Donald Trump recently said the conflict with Iran may continue over the next four weeks.
The United States and Israel carried out sweeping airstrikes against the country over the weekend. The American death toll in the conflict reached six troops as of Monday.
The U.S. State Department is urging Americans to leave over a dozen countries in the Middle East. Those include Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, and Israel.
Supreme Court rules against radical transgender policy
The U.S. Supreme Court ruled against California’s pro-transgender school policy on Monday.
The policy allowed public school officials to keep the gender confusion of students from their parents. Worse than that, school officials even helped students “transition” without their parents knowledge.
Paul Jonna, Special Counsel at Thomas More Society, commented, “The Court’s landmark . . . vindication of religious liberty . . . [sets] an historic precedent that will dismantle secret gender transition policies across the country.”
The State of the Unborn: GOP should not leave fight to states
The pro-life movement is continuing strong, but not without its challenges. That's according to Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser in her “State of the Unborn” address.
Listen to her thoughts on why the fight for life must continue.
DANNENFELSER: “Now consider the great battles the pro-life movement has won after over a half a century of struggle: electing a pro-life president, confirming the Supreme Court justices who would reverse Roe v Wade with the Dobbs decision, and restore the right to uphold the 14th Amendment's equal protection promise in the law.
"The handcuffs are off. We are free to protect the human rights of people. We live in a fresh moment filled with hope for our children, and yet, there are now more abortions than before Dobbs -- at least 1.1 million a year.
"More than 60% of those deaths are caused by abortion drugs, and that's more than fentanyl, cocaine and heroin related deaths combined. Abortion is the number one cause of death in the United States of America.”
Dannenfelser went on to challenge the Republican Party. She said, “The current GOP strategy of leaving this issue to the states clearly does not work. Twenty pro-life states can’t even enforce their laws because of mail-order abortion drugs.”
Proverbs 31:9 says, “Open your mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.”
Trump’s Transportation Dept: No illegals allowed commercial licenses
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy is imposing new rules in order for truckers to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License.
This comes as the Trump administration continues to fight illegal immigration, including within the trucking industry, where illegal drivers have killed a number of Americans.
Duffy laid out his expectations for U.S. commercial drivers.
DUFFY: “This is not politics that we're playing here. We can have a debate about whether Joe Biden had an open border or Donald Trump shut down and secured the border. That's a different debate.
“The debate really is, ‘Do you want well-trained, well-qualified drivers behind the wheel of a big rig driving on American roads?’ It's very simple. I think the answer is: Every single American, no matter what your political stripes are, doesn't are, that's exactly what you want.
“That's what you would expect from the federal government and the state government. To a greater extent, I think we need our states to say, ‘Listen, we can be good partners.’”
Truckers will now be required to take their Commercial Driver’s License test in English. Plus, many states have worked hard with the federal government to take reckless truck drivers off the roads.
YouVersion Bible app sees high engagement in Kenya, Nigeria, & South Africa
And finally, the Bible app YouVersion launched its latest regional hub in Kenya last week.
The Bible app is seeing strong growth across countries in Africa. Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa rank among the top countries for daily Bible engagement, not just in Africa but also the world.
YouVersion CEO and founder Bobby Gruenewald told Christian Daily International, “Some people have predicted that Africa would become the center of global Christianity. From what we're seeing, I think it already is.”
Isaiah 11:9 says, “The earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.”

Taliban back in control in Afghanistan
After 20 years of U.S. conflict in Afghanistan, the Taliban is back in control.
Here’s the latest. The Associated Press reports that the new Afghan penal code allows husbands to beat their wives, criminalizes criticism of the nation’s leadership, and bans education for women beyond primary school.
And the Afghan-Pakistani War is heating up.
According to recent numbers from Afghan Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, 415 soldiers with the Taliban have died and 580 have been injured.
Republicans support and Democrats oppose Iranian attack
Here in the United States, there’s a sharp partisan divide with Americans concerning the latest war with Iran.
An Ipsos/Reuters survey finds that 55% of Republican voters are in favor of the U.S. attack on Iran. Only 13% opposed it. And 7% of Democrats support the attack while 74% oppose.
Thus far, as of Monday — the casualties racking up in the war include 555 Iranian deaths, 31 Lebanese deaths, 10 Israeli deaths, and 4 American deaths.
Time on Doomsday Clock
Ever heard of The Doomsday Clock?
Sponsored by the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists, it warns the public about how close we are to destroying our world with dangerous technologies of our own making. It is a metaphor, a reminder, of the perils we must address if we are to survive on the planet.
As of January 2026, the Doomsday Clock was moved to T-minus 85 seconds. That’s down from 17 minutes in 1992, and 5 minutes in 2012.
China, Russia, and France’s place in the nuclear arms race
Recent estimates put China’s spending on its nuclear arsenal at $12.5 to $14 billion for 2024 and 2025. The communist country is outspending every nation except the United States.
News reports point to Russia’s development of a nuclear weapon to be detonated in space.
And, just yesterday, French President Emmanuel Macron announced plans to increase the size of the French nuclear arsenal, as the second nuclear arms race progresses.
Psalm 46:8-9 instructs us to “Come, behold the works of the Lord, Who has made desolations in the Earth. He makes wars cease to the end of the Earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire.”
Evidence that a Mexican cartel bribed Mexican politicians
Mexico’s El Universal newspaper carried pictures of the ledgers found in the cabin of the late drug lord Nemesio Cervantes, known as “El Mencho.”
The ledgers included references to Mexico’s Attorney General’s Office as well as members of military and state agencies.
Mexican journalists have explained that the Jalisco New Generation Cartel has bankrolled political campaigns of Mexico’s ruling party members in the National Regeneration Movement in exchange for relative immunity, reports Breitbart.
War Secretary Hegseth ends cooperation with woke Ivy League schools
As The Worldview reported last month, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth cut ties between Harvard and the Pentagon, discontinuing military-sponsored and funding of graduate-level education programs.
Now, the War Department has announced no more cooperation with the rest of Ivy League schools.
Secretary Hegseth explained the reason for this.
HEGSETH: “Our senior service colleges have always been expected to act in the interest of this principle, to transform our senior war fighters into strategic thinkers, capable of mastering the complexities of modern warfare, and leading our joint force to victory at every echelon. Unfortunately, this sacred trust has been broken in this military's professional military education system.
“For decades, the Ivy League, and similar institutions, have gorged themselves on a trust fund of American taxpayer dollars, only to become factories of anti-American resentment and military disdain. They've taken our best and brightest, the men and women who pledged their lives to this nation, and subjected them to a curriculum of contempt.
“They've replaced the study of victory and pragmatic realism with the promotion of ‘wokeness’ and weakness, they've traded true intellectual rigor for radical dogma, sacrificing free expression for the suffocating confines of leftist ideology.”
As of last week, the Pentagon has also reached an agreement with Scouting America (including the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts), to move away from what they call “diversity initiatives” and woke policies.
Trust in U.S. government at 17%
Among Americans, trust in the federal government has hit its lowest levels in seven decades — now at 17%.
That’s down from 77% in 1964, according to Pew Research’s latest numbers.
Oregon Democrats block bill to protect babies who survive abortions
Oregon Democrats blocked a bill that would have given babies a chance to survive after a failed abortion.
House Bill 4087, or the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act, mandated that infants who survived a botched abortion be afforded the “same degree of professional skill, care and diligence … that a reasonably diligent and conscientious health care practitioner would render to any other child born alive at the same gestational age.”
Oregon Right To Life Executive Director Lois Anderson laid out the inhumanity of the state’s abortion law.
ANDERSON: “Later abortions are currently legal in Oregon. There are no restrictions, no protections for unborn babies up until birth. And even if they survive an abortion procedure, they are not protected and required to be given medical treatment.
“We know, from not only polling, but anecdotal information, and all of these candidates and discussing with Oregonians, that they would support this kind of legislation.”
Micah 6:8 reminds us to “to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God.”
“I Can Only Imagine 2” movie lands #3 at the Box Office
And finally, “I Can Only Imagine 2,” hit movie theaters this past weekend.
The sequel focuses on the Christian band MercyMe and its famous “Even If” song, which lead singer Bart Millard said was written during a tough period in his life.
“I know You're able and I know You can
Save through the fire with Your mighty hand
But even if You don't
My hope is You alone
I know the sorrow, and I know the hurt
Would all go away if You'd just say the word
But even if You don't
My hope is You alone”
In 2014, Bart Millard and his wife learned that their young son, Sam, had been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, a chronic and life-threatening autoimmune disease. Sam’s blood sugar levels were dangerously high, and he was hospitalized. Doctors warned that managing the disease would be lifelong and complex.
For Bart, who had spent years singing about faith and trust in God, the situation shook him deeply. He later admitted that he struggled emotionally and spiritually. The crisis forced him to confront hard questions about faith in the face of suffering — especially when prayers do not bring immediate healing.
Listen to comments he made to CBN.
MILLARD: “These two songs in particular, “Imagine” and “Even If,” were written out of some difficult seasons of my life. Not all songs are written that way, but my therapy is working issues out through my songs. The ones that mean the most to me have come out of some pretty painful places and been therapeutic for me.”
The idea for the song “Even If” came from Daniel 3:16-18. It says, “Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to King Nebuchadnezzar, ‘We do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and He will deliver us from your Majesty’s hand. But even if He does not, we want you to know, your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.’”
“I Can Only Imagine 2” was #3 at the box office, grossing around $8 million.

U.S. State Dept shedding the light of freedom for Europe
The U.S. State Department is on the verge of launching an online portal to fight European censorship.
The site, Freedom.gov, will allow Europeans to access content that has been banned by the European Union.
The Times reported, “This includes criticism of the Online Safety Act in the UK and the European Union’s Digital Services Act, which force platforms to remove illegal content and harmful speech or face steep fines.”
One official at the State Department added, “Digital freedom is a priority for the State Department, and that includes the proliferation of privacy and censorship-circumvention technologies like Virtual Private Networks.”

United States and Israel bombed Iran
The long-simmering threat of conflict between Washington, Jerusalem and Tehran erupted Saturday morning as the United States and Israel launched sweeping airstrikes against Iran, reports NBC News.
The launch of “Operation Epic Fury” followed months of heated rhetoric and repeated warnings from President Trump about military intervention in Iran.
U.S. and partner forces struck multiple targets, including Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps command and control facilities, Iranian air defense capabilities, missile and drone launch sites, and military airfields.
Not only was Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei killed, but so was his top security adviser, his chief military secretary, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander, the Defense Minister, the Head of Iranian military intelligence, and former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, reports Axios and Israel National News.
Trump: We will destroy Iran’s “wicked, radical dictatorship”
In an 8-minute address to America, President Donald Trump explained why he believed the attack on Iran was necessary.
TRUMP: “Our objective is to defend the American people by eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime. For 47 years, the Iranian regime has chanted ‘Death to America’ and waged an unending campaign of bloodshed and mass murder targeting the United States, our troops, and the innocent people in many, many countries.”
The president laid out the litany of Iranian attacks from the 1979 U.S. Embassy Hostage Crisis in which dozens of Americans were taken hostage for 444 days and the 1983 bombing of the U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut that killed 241 soldiers to the attack on the U.S.S. Cole in 2000, the killing of U.S. soldiers in Iraq, and the Iranian-funded attack on Israel through Hamas on October 7, 2023.
TRUMP: “For these reasons, the United States military is undertaking a massive and ongoing operation to prevent this very wicked, radical dictatorship from threatening America and our core national security interests. We are going to destroy their missiles and raze their missile industry to the ground. It will be totally obliterated. We're going to annihilate their navy. We're going to ensure that the region's terrorist proxies can no longer destabilize the region or the world.”
Isaiah 10:1-2 says, “Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the fatherless.”
President Trump expressed concern for the safety of U.S. soldiers.
TRUMP: “The lives of courageous American heroes may be lost and we may have casualties. That often happens in war. We pray for every service member as they selflessly risk their lives to ensure that Americans, and our children, will never be threatened by a nuclear-armed Iran. We ask God to protect all of our heroes in harm's way. And we trust that with His help, the men and women of the armed forces will prevail.”
Sadly, three U.S. service members have been killed in action, as part of the Trump administration’s “Operation Epic Fury,” reports NewsNation.com.
Iranians celebrating in the streets
Anti-regime protesters in southern Iran tore down a statue of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in celebration of his death on Saturday, reports The Telegraph.
In Tehran, loud cheers echoed from rooftops and through the streets. Listen.
(audio of Iranians celebrating)
Celebratory music played, car horns honked and fireworks were set off in parts of the capital at around 11pm local time.
They were joined by Iranians across the world who celebrated the Supreme Leader’s downfall after he was killed in a barrage of US and Israeli missile strikes early on Saturday morning.
Senator Ted Cruz: Bombing Iran is “single most important decision of [Trump’s] presidency”
Appearing on CBS’ Face the Nation, Republican Senator Ted Cruz of Texas applauded President Trump’s decision to bomb Iran.
CRUZ: “President Trump's decision to launch this decisive action against Iran is the single most important decision of his presidency. He is taking this action because the government of Iran is a profound and malign influence.
“They have been the leading state sponsor of terrorism for 47 years. They have, over that time, killed nearly 1,000 Americans. They provide more than 90% of the funding for Hamas. They provide more than 90% of the funding for Hezbollah, the Iranian Ayatollah, was, until yesterday, actively trying to murder the President of the United States, Donald J Trump.”
Senator Lindsey Graham: “The mothership of terrorism is about to go down!”
Appearing on Fox & Friends, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina was grateful the American people re-elected President Trump in 2024.
GRAHAM: “My feeling today is that I'm very glad that President Trump won and Kamala Harris lost. Unfortunately, the modern Democratic Party is pathetic in the face of evil.
“The difference between Donald Trump and our Democratic colleagues, he's common sense. He understands the world. He's of the mindset that the Ayatollah is Hitler in a robe, wearing a turban; that he's not capable of changing his ways.
“Donald Trump does not get us entangled in forever wars, but he sure stands up to the bad guys, and he makes us safer. This is the most consequential decision any President has made since 1979.”
Senator Graham predicted a major re-set in the Middle East because of “Operation Epic Fury.”
GRAHAM: “If the regime falls, I think Saudi Arabia, the keeper of the holy mosque and Mecca and Medina, the center of Islam, will go back to the table to try to do peace with Israel. We were close before, before October the seventh. October the seventh was designed to stop normalization between Saudi Arabia and Israel.
“I think when this regime collapses, we'll be back at the table of normalization. If Saudi Arabia recognizes Israel it will be the biggest change in 1,000 years in the history of the MidEast. If this regime falls -- Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis terrorist network supported by Iran -- will collapse, slowly but surely.

Anniversary of John Wesley’s death
And finally, John Wesley, the English evangelist, who was a principal leader of a revival movement within the Church of England known as Methodism, died at the age of 87 on this day, March 2nd in 1791.
Wesley placed his faith in Christ on May 24, 1738.
Referring to our Savior Jesus Christ, Luke wrote in Acts 4:12, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”
In his early ministry years, Wesley was barred from preaching in many parish churches and the Methodists were persecuted.
Under Wesley's direction, Methodists became leaders in many social issues of the day, including the abolition of slavery.
He became known for the Wesley Covenant Prayer.
It says,
“I am no longer my own, but Thine.
Put me to what Thou wilt, rank me with whom Thou wilt.
Put me to doing, put me to suffering.
Let me be employed for Thee or laid aside for Thee,
exalted for Thee or brought low for Thee.
Let me be full, let me be empty.
Let me have all things, let me have nothing.
I freely and heartily yield all things to Thy pleasure and disposal.
And now, O glorious and blessed God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
Thou art mine, and I am Thine.
So be it.
And the covenant which I have made on Earth,
let it be ratified in Heaven.
Amen.”
Wesley wrote hymns including “O For A Thousand Tongues To Sing.”
“O for a thousand tongues to sing
my great Redeemer's praise,
the glories of my God and King,
the triumphs of His grace!
My gracious Master and my God,
assist me to proclaim,
to spread thro' all the Earth abroad
the honors of Thy name.”
John Wesley became widely respected, and by the end of his life, was described as "the best-loved man in England.”

Islamic State’s ‘new phase’ in Syria as U.S. military withdraws
Within the last week, the Islamic State terror group has launched an unusual series of attacks in Syria, part of what it calls a “new phase of operations” against the 11-month-old Syrian government, reports International Christian Concern.
Simultaneously, the United States is actively withdrawing from bases in the area.
Fighting between Syrian government forces and U.S.-allied Kurdish forces has weakened the resistance faced by the Islamic State. The terrorist group has been relatively inactive in and around Syria since its territorial defeat in 2019, instead shifting its focus to Africa.
Syrian President Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa was previously a member of the Islamic State and is an avowed jihadist. While he’s made bold public statements about his interest in peace and tolerance, forces associated with his government have repeatedly committed or allowed mass tragedies to take place.
CNN: No clear Democratic presidential frontrunner
CNN data analyst Harry Enten revealed that two years away from the 2028 Democratic presidential primary season, the party’s prospects look dim, reports The Western Journal.
Listen.
ENTEN: “This is just a downright clown car at this point on the Democratic side. I mean, just take a look here: Top choices for the 2028 Dem. pres. nominee. You have a leader, but it's not really a clear leader. It's within the margin of error. You have [Gavin] Newsom at 19%, then you have former Vice President Kamala Harris at 18% -- quite a weak number for her, given that, of course, she was the nominee the last time around. Pete Buttigieg, who, of course, has run before: 13%. [Rep.] Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez [of New York] at 12%.
“This is just a total clown car. It is a total mess. There is no clear front runner at this particular point on the Democratic side. This is very unusual for the Democratic side to not have a clear front runner.
“At this point in 2020, when there was no incumbent, it was Joe Biden who was there, Hillary Clinton in both ‘08 and ‘16 and Al Gore in both 2000 and 2004 at this point were at least at 25%.”
Picture leaked of Hillary Clinton in Epstein file inquiry
Chaos erupted inside Hillary Clinton's Jeffrey Epstein deposition on Thursday after a Republican lawmaker took a photograph of her during the private session, reports the Daily Mail.
Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert of Colorado snapped a picture of Hillary at the deposition, then leaked it to conservative influencer Benny Johnson who offered his thoughts.
JOHNSON: “Lauren Bobert sent me this photo and told me I could publish it just to show everyone that Hillary Clinton is testifying. It's not a big deal. This is what Hillary Clinton looks like. But her entire team lost their minds over this and started screeching about this. There's nothing wrong with posting this photo. The Clintons themselves are the ones who demanded that there be media inside of the room. They wanted this all be live streamed on TV. So, what's wrong with this? They're just looking for an excuse to get out of this testimony. That's what's actually going on.”
Hillary's lawyers asked that the proceedings be halted after the photograph began circulating on social media. Johnson spoke to Hillary’s motive and claimed she had already lied in a press statement she released ahead of her testimony.
JOHNSON: “She's already lied, by the way. She said that she didn't know Jeffrey Epstein, but that's not true. Not only did her husband, of course, have Jeffrey Epstein at the White House a million times, fly on his plane a million times, but Jeffrey Epstein's own emails show that he knew her multiple times.
“In Jeffrey Epstein's emails, he talks about what Hillary Clinton looks like up close. He talks about meetings with Hillary Clinton. All these people are emailing Jeffrey Epstein saying, ‘Hey, man, we know that you know Hillary Clinton. Can you get me a meeting with her?’ So, this seems like an obvious lie. And this is what they're trying to distract from because I posted a photo?”
The former secretary of state was deposed at the Chappaqua Performing Arts Center near the Clintons' home in Westchester County, New York, while Bill Clinton will testify today.
Indiana: Christian adoptive families & agencies can affirm Biblical ethic
On Wednesday, Indiana Republican Governor Mike Braun signed HB 1389, a bill that ensures families and Christian adoption and foster care groups that want to provide loving homes for kids are not pushed out because of their religious or moral beliefs, reports Alliance Defending Freedom.
Greg Chafuen, Senior Counsel for the Christian legal rights group, said, “Every child deserves a loving home that can provide them stability and opportunities to grow. The sad reality is that the government in some states has discriminated against people of faith, allowing vulnerable children to suffer. Thankfully, Indiana has taken critical steps to prioritize the well-being of kids.”
The anti-God forces reject the truth of Genesis 2:24 which says, “A man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.”
How the late Jesse Jackson flip-flopped on abortion
And finally, Rev. Jesse Jackson, who met his Creator on February 17th at the age of 84, was a civil rights activist and two-time presidential candidate in 1984 and 1988.
Before he sold out to the abortion lobby in his aspiration to be Commander-in-Chief, LifeNews columnist Raimundo Rojas explained that Jackson “spoke with rare moral clarity about the child in the womb.”
In a March 22,1973 interview, just two months after Roe v. Wade, Jackson told Jet magazine, “Abortion is genocide. Anything growing is living. … If you got the thrill to set the baby in motion, and you don’t have the will to protect it, you’re dishonest.”
That same year Jackson said, "Abortion is too nice a word for something cold, like murder," according to the New York Times.
In a column he wrote for National Right to Life News in January 1977, Jackson compared abortion to the old defenses of slavery. He warned that “the name has changed, but the game remains the same” when society strips the baby of protection. He spoke of new life with reverence, insisting, “It takes three to make a baby: a man, a woman, and the Holy Spirit.”
Then ambition met party power.
As Jesse Jackson moved toward a presidential run inside a Democratic Party that increasingly demanded loyalty to abortion, his public stance began to soften. By 1984, he described himself as “for freedom of choice, not pro-abortion,” and said that while he held a pro-life view, he did not want to “force” it on others through law.
By 1988, he argued that “it is not right to impose private, religious and moral positions on public policy,” according to the Washington Post.
Raimundo Rojas of LifeNews concluded, “The man who once called abortion genocide now treated his convictions as a private matter. Nothing in science or reason justified that turn. What changed was the political cost of speaking on behalf of the child.
“His life holds a lesson for every believer and every political leader. You cannot keep your deepest convictions in one box and your public positions in another. Do not trade moral clarity for political convenience. Do not let party loyalty silence your conscience.”
Isaiah 5:20 says, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil.”

Russian-Ukrainian war in its fifth year
The war between Russia and Ukraine entered its fifth year this week.
International Christian Concern reports religious communities in the Russian-occupied areas of Ukraine continue to face harassment and violence. Protestant churches are especially targeted with intimidation, raids, and closures.
The European Evangelical Alliance is calling on Christians to pray for their brothers and sisters caught in the conflict. The organization noted, “Churches continue to serve courageously. Acts of compassion and solidarity are widespread. Stories of protection, provision, and spiritual awakening remind believers that God remains present and active even in the darkest times.”
Romans 8:28 reminds us, “We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
1.8 million casualties in Russian-Ukrainian war
After four years of fighting, Russia and Ukraine have experienced an estimated 1.8 million casualties. That includes people killed, wounded, and missing.
U.S. President Donald Trump continues to broker peace talks between the two countries even as the war drags on.
Ukrainian representatives plan to meet with U.S. envoys in Geneva, Switzerland today. This is ahead of a potential trilateral meeting between the U.S., Russia, and Ukraine next week.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio recently wrote on X, “President Trump wants a solution that ends the bloodshed once and for all.”
European Commission fines X $140 million
Speaking of X, the company is challenging a $140 million fine imposed by the European Commission.
The commission is using the European Union’s Digital Services Act to impose censorship on American tech companies.
Jeremy Tedesco with Alliance Defending Freedom stated, “The platforms the Digital Services Act targets … are the modern public square. They are where Americans debate politics, share their faith, and hold the powerful accountable. … The EU Commission is targeting X for a simple reason: X is committed to free speech, and the Commission demands censorship.”
El Mencho’s Mexican cartel extorted and harassed pastors
As The Worldview reported on Tuesday, Mexico’s military forces killed the drug cartel leader, Nemesio Cervantes, known as “El Mencho” on Sunday. He was the most wanted person in Mexico and one of the most wanted people in the United States.
The cartel he led was known for terrorizing not only businesses but also church leaders in Mexico. Pastors faced intimidation, extortion, harassment, and threats at the hands of the cartel.
Trump affirmed “one nation under God”
In the United States, President Donald Trump delivered his 2026 State of the Union Address to a joint session of Congress on Tuesday.
The speech lasted for an hour and 48 minutes, the longest State of the Union Address in modern tracking.
At one point, he asked a question.
TRUMP: “One of the great things about the State of the Union is how it gives Americans the chance to see clearly what their representatives really believe. So tonight, I'm inviting every legislator to join with my administration in reaffirming a fundamental principle.
“If you agree with this statement, then stand up and show your support. ‘The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens.’” (Republicans applauded)
Not surprisingly, all the Republicans stood and all the Democrats remained seated, revealing the stark contrast between the two major parties.
Throughout his speech, the president mentioned the upcoming 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. He acknowledged the hand of Providence in our country’s destiny and celebrated recent renewal in religious interest among young people.
Listen.
TRUMP: “I'm very proud to say that during my time in office, both the first four years, and in particular this last year, there has been a tremendous renewal in religion, faith, Christianity and belief in God.
“This is especially true among young people, and a big part of that had to do with my great friend, Charlie Kirk, a great guy, a great man.”
(You can watch the State of the Union here.)
Singer Johnny Cash remembered for faith in Christ
And finally, today marks the birthday of Johnny Cash. The iconic American singer was born on February 26, 1932.
He rose to fame in the music scene in the 1950s before coming to Christ later in the 1970s. He became known as the “Man in Black” for his all-black stage suits.
After his conversion, Cash would use his music to share the Gospel, often performing at Billy Graham Crusades.
Cash remains one the best-selling music artists of all time. He was inducted into the Country Music, Rock and Roll, and Gospel Music Halls of Fame.
One of his last recorded songs was called “I Came to Believe.” Listen to the chorus.
“I came to believe in a Power much higher than I.
I came to believe that I needed help to get by.
In childlike faith, I gave in and gave Him a try.
And I came to believe in a Power much higher than I.”
Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”

Yemen authorities arrested 20 Christians
Authorities in Yemen, a country in the Middle East bordering Saudi Arabia to the north, have arrested at least 20 Christians in recent months.
For simply professing Christ, these believers can face torture and even death. The Islamic country is located in the south of the Arabian peninsula. It is illegal for Christians to publicly display or share their faith there.
International Christian Concern notes, “The arrests in Yemen paradoxically confirm what missionaries and human rights observers have long suspected: despite being one of the most dangerous places on Earth to be a Christian, Yemen hosts a growing indigenous church.”
According to Open Doors, Yemen is the third most oppressive country worldwide for Christians.
In Matthew 16:18, Jesus said, “On this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.”
Christian Canadian fined $750,000 for opposing gender confusion
The British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal fined a Canadian Christian $750,000 last week for opposing gender confusion.
Barry Neufield is a former Board of Education trustee for the district of Chilliwack. He posted on social media that there are only two sexes, and he opposed transgender ideology in the schools.
Neufield wrote on Facebook that the widespread embrace of such ideology has “demonized people of faith who believe that God created humans male and female: In the Image of God.”
Judge fined Maryland school district for promoting sexual perversion
In the United States, a federal judge fined Maryland’s largest school district $1.5 million last week for promoting sexual perversity.
Parents sued Montgomery County Public Schools for not allowing them to opt their children out of storybooks featuring such perversity.
Eric Baxter with The Becket Fund for Religious Liberty commented, “Public schools nationwide are on notice: running roughshod over parental rights and religious freedom isn’t just illegal—it’s costly.”
Louisiana allowed to display 10 Commandments in classrooms
Louisiana can now enforce its law for every public school classroom to display the Ten Commandments.
The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals issued the ruling last week in favor of the displays. The ruling stated, “There can be no doubt that the Ten Commandments bear immense religious significance. … But they also ‘have historical significance as one of the foundations of our legal system.’”
Deuteronomy 6:7 and 9 says this of God’s commandments: “You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. ... You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”
Vermont foster families allowed to affirm Biblical view
The state of Vermont will no longer require families to abandon their religious beliefs in order to be foster families.
The new policy comes thanks to the litigation of Alliance Defending Freedom. The issue began after Vermont revoked the licenses of two Christian families for opposing gender confusion.
The Christian legal rights group’s Senior Counsel, Johannes Delphonse, said, “This is an incredible victory for children in Vermont’s foster-care system.”
Conservative Methodist denomination hits 7,000 churches worldwide
The Global Methodist Church recently announced it reached 7,000 churches worldwide.
The denomination launched in 2022 after years of internal conflict within the United Methodist Church over human sexuality. Many theologically conservative churches left the mainline denomination since then.
The Global Methodist Church posted on Facebook, “This moment reminds us that growth isn’t just measured in numbers — it’s found in repentance, renewal, and lives being transformed by Jesus Christ.”
U.S. economy growing slower than expected
U.S. economic growth was slower than expected during the fourth quarter of 2025.
The U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis reported real gross domestic product increased at an annual rate of 1.4 percent last quarter. That’s down from 4.4 percent during the third quarter and much lower than expectations.
Government spending was down during the fourth quarter because of the record-length shutdown.
Chicago man saved baby out of frigid Lake Michigan
And finally, a Chicago man saved an eight-month-old baby from the frigid 35-degree waters of Lake Michigan last Wednesday.
Block Club Chicago reports 30-year-old Lio Cundiff was taking a walk along the lake at Belmont Harbor. That’s when he heard a woman scream. Gusting winds had sent her stroller with her baby into the lake.
Cundiff can’t swim. But he dove in to save the baby anyways. He wasn’t sure how long he could keep her above water, but thankfully other bystanders stepped in and helped.
He said, “If she’s going down, I’m going down with her. I couldn’t live with myself if that baby hadn’t made it. … If it wasn’t for everyone being alert and helping, I don’t know what would’ve happened. I’m very thankful.”

Early Rain Covenant Church Hit Again
China Aid reports of more communist persecution of the Early Rain Covenant Church in Chengdu, China.
Pastor Wang Yi is entering his seventh year in prison -- of a nine-year sentence.
But now, elder Li Yingqiang and his wife have been arrested for their commitment to Christ. His wife was released on bail, and encouraged friends on social media that “God’s arrangements are always good.”

Mexican National Guardsmen killed the most wanted cartel leader in the country
Mexico is in turmoil this week, after Mexican National Guardsmen killed the most wanted cartel leader in the country, Nemesio Cervantes, a criminal known as “El Mencho.”
So far, 34 drug cartel members are dead. Sadly, another 25 federal troops were killed in the ongoing conflict.
European immigration numbers down
Immigration numbers have dropped sharply in Europe.
Britain records only 200,000 immigrants in 2025, down from 900,000 in 2023.
Eurostat’s Migration and Asylum report indicates a 13% drop in asylum applicants to European Union countries in 2024. That’s the first drop since 2020. And October 2025 numbers indicate a 28% drop compared with October 2024.
European Parliament refused to affirm only women can get pregnant
The Parliament of the European Union voted 340-141 to artificially redefine the definition of what a woman is. The Parliament also refused to affirm the biological fact “that only women can become pregnant.”
German Parliament member Tomasz Froelich blasted the new guidance. He said, “This isn’t about courtesy or pronouns. It’s about law, language, and the destruction of biological clarity in public policy.”
The new law opens the continent up to “the full recognition of trans women as women,” directly opposing God’s created gender roles.
In Matthew 19:4, Jesus asked, “Have you not read, that He which made them at the beginning made them male and female?”
Reform UK lacked traction; Will Restore Britain thrive?
As The Worldview reported on February 19th, Britain has a new populist political party called the Restore Britain party.
The previous nationalist party, Reform UK, gained 14% of the vote in the 2024 election, but only holds eight seats which is a little over 1% of the seats in parliament.
Back in 2002, the UK populist parties had only 2% of the national vote.
More debt and more inflation for the U.S.
In President Donald Trump’s first year in office in his second term, the US Debt to Gross Domestic Product ratio spiked to 122%. That’s the highest since Joe Biden’s first year in office during the COVID spend-a-thon.
Today’s U.S. federal debt stands at $38.7 trillion — exactly double what it was 10 years ago during the first Trump term, and quadruple the size of the debt 18 years ago during the 2008 recession.
Also in economic news, despite all the political noise and hand waving coming out of Washington, inflation is up in the U.S.
The core Personal Consumption Expenditures inflation index is up to 3% — back up to where it was two years ago. The GDP inflator reached 3.7%, the worst it’s been in three years.
And yet, the average 30-year mortgage rate has dropped to 6%, That’s the lowest it’s been in two and a half years.
Deuteronomy 15:6 ties in here. It says, “For the LORD your God will bless you just as He promised you; you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow; you shall reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over you.”
Kansas legislature overturns veto on transgender Law
KANSAS LEADER: “The motion prevails and the bill passes.” (Gavel comes down)
And with that announcement, the Kansas Legislature, dominated by Republicans, voted to overturn Democratic Governor Laura Kelly’s veto on a bill that banned men, including men pretending to be women, from entering women's spaces.
The Kansas House voted 87-37 and the Kansas Senate voted 31-9 to overturn the veto.
Republican Kansas State Senator Virgil Peck, Jr. spoke from the Senate floor.
PECK: “I'm amazed that we're not hearing from more of those who are, if you will, feminists standing up for young ladies.”
The bill allows for criminal charges to be brought against biological men who intrude on women’s bathrooms and locker rooms, and holds to the birth gender or biological definition of male and female.
118,000 applications submitted for tax-funded school vouchers
Texas parents have submitted 118,000 applications since Texas Freedom Education Accounts opened up on February 4th.
The Houston public school district is looking at closing down 12 of its schools for the next school year, reports The Chronicle. The Texas Homeschool Coalition estimates there are 500,000 homeschooled students in the state. Add to that 422,000 children enrolled in Texas charter schools, and another 279,000 children enrolled in Texas private schools.
That adds up to 1,200,000 Texas students not attending public school, representing 21% of school-aged children in Texas.
Study reveals cancer linked to COVID-19 shot
A new scientific study has linked the rise in certain types of cancer to the mRNA COVID-19 shots.
The study, published by Oncotarget, marks the spike in cancers, including highly aggressive cancers, in correspondence with certain lipid nanoparticles that were in the COVID vaccines.
The study evidenced that the modRNA in the COVID shot, along with the lipid nanoparticles, could “affect various tissues and organs, including the bone marrow and other blood-forming organs.”
The study also found a link between rising mortalities worldwide and the rollout of the COVID shot. In one Italian province, for example, “vaccination was associated with a 23% increased risk of cancer hospitalization after receiving one or more doses.”
U.S. Men’s Hockey team wins gold in overtime
And finally …
(Audio of Olympic theme song)
Norway has captured the highest number of gold medals in the 2026 Winter Olympics this year — taking home 18 medals (so far). The United States comes in second with 12 golds.
That’s a record for America — this time including a top medal for the Men’s and Women’s Hockey competition.
The U.S. Men’s Hockey Team won the gold medal for the first time in 46 years in a 2-1 overtime win on the final golden goal knocked in by Jack Hughes, who played center.
Listen.
ANNOUNCER: “Jack Hughes wins it. The golden goal for the United States. For the first time since the 1980 Miracle, the United States takes the gold.”
Jack will be remembered for having taken a high stick and losing multiple teeth before scoring the winning goal.

Elderly farmer refuses to sell farm to data company
86-year-old farmer Mervin Raudabaugh refused to sell his Pennsylvania farm to data company developers, even though his farm was valued at over $15 million.
Raudabaugh has lived in Silver Springs Township in Cumberland County and been a farmer for more than 60 years. He exclaimed, “I was not interested in destroying my farms. That was the bottom line. It really wasn't so much the economic end of it. I just didn't want to see these two farms destroyed.”
Raudabaugh instead sold his property for a much lower price to the Silver Springs Township’s Land Preservation Program, which protects farmland, woodland, and wetlands. He explained, “I love this land. It’s been my life. And I realized… if it wasn’t built on or dug up, another set of families could live here—and that’s what I wanted to do. And I got it done.”
Micah 4:4 promises, “But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.”
10 major British cities have Muslim mayors
46 million Muslims now live in Europe, as migrants from third world countries continue overwhelming the European system.
Muslims are taking over political offices in European nations, including in the United Kingdom, where 10 major cities now have Muslim mayors.
The massive influx in illegal immigration to Europe, while condemned and hated by its people, is being celebrated by its leaders. Newsmax reports, “They've chosen to stand with radical Muslims over their own people. It's because of all of these reasons these countries are falling apart and failing as the attack on Western civilization continues.”
Muslim infiltration has also reached the United States, evidenced by Muslim influence in states like Texas and Minnesota.
Chase Bank admits to debanking Trump
JPMorgan Bank has admitted to freezing President Donald Trump’s bank account following the January 6, 2021 protests. Trump had sued the bank for $5 billion in damages.
The admission came after JPMorgan initially dodged the question of whether it debanked the President, and is yet another confirmation that conservatives were in fact targeted and persecuted under the Biden administration.
CNBC reported, “This is not the first lawsuit Trump has filed against a big bank, alleging that he was debanked. The Trump Organization sued credit card giant Capital One in March 2025 for similar reasons and allegations.”
However, some have pointed out that the Trump administration is working towards digital currencies, which run a large risk of being controlled.

Utah teacher forces student to wash off Ash Wednesday cross
A Utah elementary school faced backlash after a teacher told a Catholic student to remove an Ash Wednesday cross from his forehead, a symbol marking the beginning of Lent, reports WHSV TV.
Fourth-grader William McLeod had attended church on Ash Wednesday and arrived at Valley View Elementary School in Bountiful, Utah wearing a traditional ash cross. He said classmates initially questioned him about it, unaware that the ash cross marked the beginning of Jesus’ 40 days in the wilderness before the beginning of His three-year ministry.
The boy recalled his teacher asking, “What is that?” He replied, “It’s Ash Wednesday. It’s the first day of Lent.” She said, “No, it’s inappropriate. Go take it off.” In front of his peers, she gave the child a wipe and told him to clean his forehead.
McLeod said, “I felt really bad.” His grandmother said he was embarrassed and upset, saying he later went to see the school psychologist “crying.”
The Davis School District issued a formal apology, saying the teacher’s actions were unacceptable. A spokesman said, “No student should ever be asked or required to remove an ash cross from his or her forehead.” The teacher later apologized.
Supreme Court ruled 6-3 against Trump tariffs
On Friday, the Supreme Court ruled 6-3 against President Donald Trump’s sweeping global tariffs, striking down a central part of his economic agenda, reports The Western Journal.
TRUMP: “The Supreme Court's ruling on tariffs is deeply disappointing. I'm ashamed of certain members of the court, absolutely ashamed, for not having the courage to do what's right for our country.”
The case focused on tariffs President Trump imposed under a 1977 emergency powers law known as the International Emergency Economic Powers Act. He used that law to impose reciprocal tariffs on most countries beginning last year.
Chief Justice John Roberts wrote for the majority that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act “does not authorize the President to impose tariffs.” Associate Justice Amy Barrett and Neil Gorsuch sided with Roberts and the court’s three liberals.
However, Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, and Brett Kavanaugh dissented, reports the Associated Press.
President Trump imposes new tariff using different authority
On Truth Social, President Trump wrote, “I would like to thank and congratulate Justices Thomas, Alito, and Kavanaugh for your strength, wisdom, and love of our country, which is right now very proud of you.
“When you read the dissenting opinions, there is no way that anyone can argue against them. Foreign Countries that have been ripping us off for years are ecstatic, and dancing in the streets — But they won’t be dancing for long!”
Kavanaugh wrote, “The decision might not substantially constrain a President's ability to order tariffs going forward. That is because numerous other federal statutes authorize the President to impose tariffs and might justify most (if not all) of the tariffs issued in this case. ... Those statutes include, for example, the Trade Expansion Act of 1962 (Section 232); the Trade Act of 1974 (Sections 122, 201, and 301); and the Tariff Act of 1930 (Section 338).”
TRUMP: “Other alternatives will now be used to replace the ones that the court incorrectly rejected. Great alternatives. Could be more money. We'll take in more money.”
Inspired by Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s dissent, President Trump imposed a new 10% global tariff the same day of the Supreme Court decision last Friday, using Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974, reports NewsNation.
GOP Rep. Tony Gonzales had affair with aide who set herself on fire
U.S. Republican Congressman Tony Gonzales of Texas engaged in a romantic relationship with an aide who died last year by setting herself on fire outside her Uvalde home, according to a text message and people close to the aide and her family, reports the San Antonio Express-News.
Both she and Gonzales were married to other people at the time of the alleged affair.
A former staffer in Gonzales' district office, who worked closely with the aide, Regina Ann Santos-Aviles, said she told him they had an affair in 2024, and that she spiraled into a depression after her husband discovered the relationship and Gonzales abruptly ended their affair.
Exodus 20:14 says, “You shall not commit adultery.”
He also shared with the San Antonio Express-News a screenshot of a text message from Regina in which she acknowledged having an “affair with our boss.”
The staffer, who asked not to be named, citing a fear of retaliation, faulted Gonzales' office for failing to intervene, saying he warned the congressman's district director months before Regina’s fiery suicide that he was concerned about her well-being. He described her as his “best friend” and said their families knew each other.
Gonzales, a Republican representing Texas' 23rd Congressional District, is currently seeking re-election in a contested primary. The San Antonio Express-News, which had initially endorsed Gonzales in the March 3rd Republican primary, recently withdrew its endorsement.
In the Republican Primary for Congress in District 23, many South Texans are looking to support Francisco “Quico” Canseco during early voting or on Election Day, Tuesday, March 3rd.
Texas bobsled gold medalist almost quit
And finally,
(audio of Olympics theme song)
It was a couple of weeks before Christmas. Elana Meyers Taylor, age 41, was in Norway, prepping for a World Cup bobsled weekend. Things were going horribly. Her body was hurting, she wondered if she was doing right by her two deaf children, and the racing results were, well, bad, reports the San Antonio Express-News.
So, she texted her husband. The message: I'm done. She wrote, “This is just impossible. It's never going to work.”
She was 10th in the World Cup monobob standings. Eight women won medals on the circuit this winter and she wasn't one of them. Her average finish was 10th and her result during a race on the Olympic track in November was 19th — a whopping 2.43 seconds behind the winning time.
FEMALE ANNOUNCER: “She had probably her worst season of monobob in her life.”
Her husband, former bobsledder Nic Taylor, is now a performance coach and works with the NBA's San Antonio Spurs. When a Spurs player — the couple won't say who — learned Elana was struggling, he gifted Nic a plane ticket and told him, “Go to Norway immediately!”
So, Nic flew to Norway to encourage his wife in person after those discouraging texts to talk her out of quitting. That strengthened Elana’s resolve to compete.
Listen to the Olympics announcer during Elana’s bobsled run.
MALE ANNOUNCER: “Elana Myers Taylor has this magical moment to win another Olympic medal and potentially gold. Her husband Nick and sons, Noah and Nico, are here in the crowd.
“This is a promising run for Elana Myers Taylor. Sixteen-hundredths of a second ahead of Kaillie Humphries, 12-hundredths of a second ahead. Elana Myers Taylor has never won a gold medal at the Olympics. She has now. It's gold for the United States, and that elusive gold medal for Eleanor Myers Taylor, is elusive no more. The most prolific female bobsledder in history.”
At 41, she became the oldest woman to win an individual gold medal in Winter Games history. It was her sixth Olympic medal.
She said, “I was determined to keep fighting, determined to just put down the best runs I could. And look what happened. There were so many moments during this entire season, during this past four years, that I thought it wasn’t possible.”
And now you know the rest of the story.
In 1 Corinthians 9:24, the Apostle Paul asked, “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.”
Or, in Elana Meyers Taylor’s case, slide in such a way as to get the prize.

100 U.S. troops on the ground in Northeast Nigeria
U.S. officials confirmed that roughly 100 U.S. troops arrived in Nigeria on Monday, tasked with a mission to train and equip Nigerian anti-terror forces in their ongoing struggle against the country’s rising Islamic terrorist threat, reports International Christian Concern.
About 200 troops are expected to be deployed in the coming weeks.
Nigeria has witnessed an uptick in religious-based violence in the central and north by the Islamic Boko Haram terrorist group against Christians.
The U.S. soldiers were sent to Bauchi State located in northeastern Nigeria at the invitation of the Nigerian government.
British police arrested Prince Andrew
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the man formerly known as Prince Andrew before his royal title was stripped from him, was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in a public office at around 8:00am on his 66th birthday yesterday, reports The U.S. Sun.
Andrew allegedly shared sensitive information with his pedophile pal Jeffrey Epstein while serving as the United Kingdom’s trade envoy. He spent time in Vietnam, Singapore, China, and Hong Kong in October 2010 on taxpayer-funded official business and high-level trade talks.
An email to Epstein on November 30, 2010, sent by Andrew’s “Special Adviser” Amit Patel, contained four documents reporting on what had been discussed on his trip. The email and its four attachments were sent to Andrew at 4.57pm, and forwarded to multi- millionaire Jeffrey Epstein five minutes later, at 5.02pm.
Cops also confirmed at the time that they were separately probing allegations that a woman was trafficked to the UK by Epstein to have a sexual encounter with Prince Andrew.
Yesterday, police raided royal residences in Windsor and Norfolk.
Andrew’s brother, King Charles III, age 77, said, “I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office. What now follows is the full, fair, and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities. They have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation.”
Andrew’s arrest comes almost a year after Virginia Giuffre, a woman who accused him of sexually assaulting her while she was a minor, committed suicide last April.
Virginia’s emotional brothers Sky and Daniel said: “At last, today, our broken hearts have been lifted at the news that no one is above the law, not even royalty. On behalf of our sister, Virginia Giuffre, we extend our gratitude to the UK’s Thames Valley Police for their investigation, and the arrest of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. For survivors everywhere, Virginia did this for you.”
Galatians 6:7 says, “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.”
Black D.C. grandma about Trump: “I love him!”
Back in 2017, Forlesia Cook’s grandson was murdered in cold blood in Washington D.C. Yesterday, at the Black History Month Reception at the White House, she spoke glowingly about President Donald Trump’s concern about her family and his willingness to send in the National Guard to D.C. to put the criminals behind bars, reports FoxNews.com.
Listen.
COOK: “One thing I like about him, he keeps it real, just like Grandma. I appreciate that because I can trust Him, because he tells exactly how he feel and what he think. Thank God for this President. (applause)
“I am filled. My cup runneth over because he allowed his people to come to my house to interview me, to talk about the murder of my grandson. It seemed like nobody cared. I marched. I rallied. I pulled out other families in the District of Columbia that had murders and did not have answers. Ooh!
"We marched and we rallied. And nobody heard me, Democrats, until this Republican sent his people out there to interview me in my home. Have you ever heard of a thing?
“Then they invited me twice before Congress to testify for the Beautiful Bill that's going to change crime in the District. (applause) If you kill somebody, okay, you take a life, you do life. Just that simple. (applause) If you do a harsh crime, you do harsh time. Just that simple.
“And then we need National Guard, and which we did years ago, he brought it on.
“I love him. I don't want to hear nothing you got to say about that racist stuff. And don't be looking at me on the news hatin’ on me because I'm standing up for somebody that deserves to be standin’ up for. Get off the man's back. Let him do his job. He's doing the right thing. Back up off of me. And Grandma said it.” (applause)
Cook cited Psalm 23:5 in her remarks. The full verse says, “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.”
President Trump was clearly touched by Forlesia Cook’s passion and gratitude.
TRUMP: “Thank you, darling. That's great, and it's from the heart. Your little baby was just so horribly taken from you.
“Under the Trump administration, we believe that no community should be abandoned to the scourge of violent crime. We're saving 1000s and 1000s of lives in many cities. And frankly, if these radical left lunatic Democrats would come and say, ‘Please help us. Please,’ we’d stop crimes all over the place.
“Every town that we go in, every city that we go in, like Washington, Felicia, you feel much safer now, totally safe. You can walk to a restaurant. The restaurants were all closing. Now, the bad news is you can't get into a restaurant. It's a great thing to see what's happening in Washington.”
American abolitionist and former slave Frederick Douglass remembered
And finally, 131 years ago today, on February 20, 1895, American abolitionist Frederick Douglass met his maker. He was the most important leader of the American movement for black civil rights in the 19th century.
After escaping from slavery in Maryland in 1838, Douglass became a national leader of the abolitionist movement in Massachusetts and New York. He gained fame for his oratory and incisive antislavery writings. Accordingly, he was described by abolitionists, in his time, as a living counterexample to claims by supporters of slavery that enslaved people lacked the intellectual capacity to function as independent American citizens.
Indeed, Northerners, at the time, found it hard to believe that such a great orator had once been enslaved. It was in response to this disbelief that Douglass wrote Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglas: An American Slave in 1845. It was influential in promoting the cause of abolition, as was his second book, written in 1855, entitled My Bondage and My Freedom.
Following the Civil War, Douglass was an active campaigner for the rights of freed slaves and wrote his last autobiography entitled Life and Times of Frederick Douglass.

British preacher challenges buffer zones around abortion mills
A preacher in Britain is challenging the country’s abortion buffer zones which effectively censor the Bible.
Officials arrested, charged, and convicted Stephen Green for holding a sign with a Bible verse near an abortion mill in 2023. The verse was Psalm 139:13 which says, “For You formed my inward parts; You knitted me together in my mother's womb.”
Green stated, “As a Christian, I should be able to preach freely all over the land. Psalm 139 is about how we all belong to God from conception. Buffer zones and this conviction [are] a direct attack on the Bible and free speech.”
Elon Musk endorsed new conservative political party in England
Billionaire Elon Musk endorsed a new conservative political party in Britain last week.
On Friday, Member of Parliament Rupert Lowe launched the Restore Britain Party. Musk shared the launch video on X which has received nearly 40 million views.
The party is devoted to ending mass immigration and the creeping Islamification of Britain. Rupert Lowe also stated the party will openly recognize the country’s Christian heritage.
Listen.
LOWE: “Restore Britain will openly recognize the Christian heritage that shaped this country's moral and civic foundation. (applause) Duty, restraint, forgiveness and, most importantly, fairness. These values created a high trust society.
“Restore Britain will end the creeping Islamification of Britain. (applause) Unfettered immigration from Islamic countries will end. (applause) Britain is a Christian country, and under Restore Britain government, it will remain a Christian country.” (applause)
Church of England votes against blessing homosexual couples
Last week, the Church of England voted against proposals to allow blessing services for homosexual couples.
The General Synod did not shut the door on the issue though, voting to investigate it in the future.
The move keeps the church from performing marriage services and blessing services for people living in unnatural relations. However, the Church of England’s rules already allow blessing prayers within regular Sunday services for such couples.
Proverbs 25:26 says, “Like a muddied spring or a polluted fountain is a righteous man who gives way before the wicked.”
Franklin Graham preached in world’s southernmost city
Evangelist Franklin Graham preached in Ushuaia, Argentina. It’s known as the southernmost city in the world.
Listen.
GRAHAM: “What makes Ushuaia so special are the people. We love the people. If you can't remember anything else tonight, remember this: God loves you. God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to take our sins. We deserve death. We're guilty of sin.
“Bartimaeus had no hope. There are many of you here tonight. You have no hope. Now, Bartimaeus cried at the right time. Jesus was passing by. The Bible says that ‘God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but he should have everlasting life.’
“Will you invite Christ into your heart? Will you trust Him? Come. Come to Jesus.”
Hundreds of people turned to Christ through the evangelistic outreach event. Graham wrote on X, “We give God the glory for each one who responded to the invitation to repent of their sins and put their trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.”
Eighty-two percent of South Americans identify as Roman Catholic, but evangelicalism has been growing in recent decades.
Graham also plans to visit Peru next month.
21 states challenge mail-order abortion kill pills
In the United States, 21 states and 60 members of Congress are challenging mail-order abortion drugs.
Louisiana initiated the case, challenging a Biden-era rule from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The rule removed the in-person dispensing requirement for the abortion drug mifepristone.
Erik Baptist with Alliance Defending Freedom stated, “The Biden FDA’s unlawful authorization of mail-order abortion drugs was meant to be a loophole around states that choose to protect life.”
41-year-old mother Olympic bobsledder wins gold
(audio Olympic theme song)
American Olympic bobsledder Elana Meyers Taylor won her first gold medal on Monday.
The 41-year-old mother triumphed in the women’s monobob event at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy. She is now the oldest gold medalist in an individual Olympic event.
After the victory, she said this on Instagram: “The moment we prayed for. Glory to God.”
Norway has won the most gold medals
Nearly 2,900 athletes from over 90 countries are competing in the 2026 Winter Olympics.
So far, Norway has won the most gold medals and the most medals overall. In the medal count, Norway is followed by Italy and the U.S.
A podium finish can mean big prize money for athletes. A gold medalist from the U.S. can win $38,000. Athletes from Singapore can make the most for winning an individual event at $792,000.
Christian missionaries sharing Christ & Bibles in Olympic crowds
And finally, Evangelicals are sharing the Gospel at the Winter Olympic Games this year.
Hundreds of Southern Baptists alongside International Mission Board missionaries are joining the crowds to share Christ and distribute Bibles.
Karen Herfurth is in Italy with a group from Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Huntsville, Alabama. She said, “This is a chance for Southern Baptists to reach more people and impact more lives! We may never know the difference this makes until we are in Heaven.”

Iranian authorities killed 19 Christians
Article 18 reports Iran’s security forces have killed at least 19 Christians during recent anti-government protests.
The Islamic Republic’s security forces brutally cracked down on demonstrators, including Christians.
Believers already face persecution for participating in activities like prayer gatherings, baptisms, and Bible distribution. In December, five Christians received prison sentences totaling 50 years for such activities.
Iran is ranked 10th on the Open Doors’ World Watch List of the most oppressive countries to be a Christian.
Nuclear deal between America and Iran
Speaking of Iran, the country sent representatives to meet with U.S. officials in Geneva, Switzerland yesterday.
The two countries agreed to “guiding principles” for a potential nuclear deal. At the same time, the U.S. is conducting a military build-up in the region.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said that striking a deal with Iran is difficult because of its commitment to radical Islam.
Secretary Rubio urged Europe to embrace Christian heritage
Secretary Rubio addressed the Munich Security Conference in Germany on Saturday.
He criticized Europe for embracing globalism, open borders, massive welfare states, and climate activism. Rubio said, “We in America have no interest in being polite and orderly caretakers of the West’s managed decline.”
Instead, he called for European countries to partner with the United States on the basis of their common heritage—Christianity.
Listen.
RUBIO: “America was founded 250 years ago, but the roots began here on this continent, long before the men who settled and built the nation of my birth arrived on our shores, carrying the memories and the traditions and the Christian faith of their ancestors as a sacred inheritance, an unbreakable link between the old world and the new.
“We are part of one civilization, Western civilization. We are bound to one another by the deepest bonds that nations could share, forged by centuries of shared history, Christian faith, culture, heritage, language, ancestry and the sacrifices our forefathers made together for the common civilization to which we have fallen heir.”
Jeremiah 6:16 says, “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; then you will find rest for your souls.”
Border Czar: We arrested 4,000 illegals & recovered 3,000 kids in MN
In the United States, White House Border Czar Tom Homan announced the conclusion of Operation Metro Surge in Minnesota last week.
Immigration enforcement officers are in the process of leaving the state after having made over 4,000 arrests since December.
Homan noted that officers also recovered over 3,000 missing children.
HOMAN: “I.C.E. is a legitimate federal law enforcement agency. We're not out scouring the streets to disappear people or deny people their civil rights or due process. In addition to taking public safety threats off the street, I.C.E., here in this state, have located 3,364 missing, unaccompanied alien children -- children the last administration lost and weren't even looking for.”
Planned Parenthood closes Florida abortion mill\
Planned Parenthood announced Monday it will close one of its abortion mills in Florida.
The Lakeland, Florida killing center will fully close next month. This ends 50 years of the abortion giant’s presence in the area.
Planned Parenthood locations have fallen from 567 in 2021 to 488 last month.
However, Katherine Van Dyke with American Life League warned, “By shedding this ‘dead weight,’ they’re not retreating. They’re regrouping to push the abortion pill regimen through virtual channels, streamlining abortion on demand.”
348th anniversary of Pilgrim’s Progress
And finally, this week is the 348th anniversary of the publication of John Bunyan’s Pilgrim’s Progress.
His first volume of the book was announced on February 18, 1678.
Bunyan began the work from prison. He was sentenced for holding unsanctioned religious services. Despite suffering for his faith, he produced a Christian classic that would influence the church for centuries.
The 19th century English preacher Charles Spurgeon, who read Pilgrim’s Progress 100 times, said of Bunyan, “Read anything of his, and you will see that it is almost like reading the Bible itself. He had read it till his very soul was saturated with Scripture; and though his writings are charmingly full of poetry, yet he cannot give us his Pilgrim’s Progress—that sweetest of all prose poems—without continually making us feel and say, ‘Why, this man is a living Bible!’”
Jeremiah 15:16 says, “Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your Word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; for I am called by Your name, O LORD, God of hosts.”

90,000 Nigerians displaced due to Islamic violence
More than 90,000 Catholic Nigerians have been displaced in the Southern Taraba State since September 2025, reports International Christian Concern.
According to the Catholic Diocese of Wukari, over 100 people have been killed and thousands more wounded in that same time frame.
U.S. funds United Nations, Dept of Ed, and Nat’l Institutes of Health
The Trump administration is still funding the United Nations.
President Donald Trump approved another $3 billion dollars to the international organization in early February, according to Reuters. The U.S. has averaged $2.5 billion dollars of funding each year for the United Nations, over the last twenty years. America joined the United Nations back in 1945, and is its largest donor.
And, despite vowing to close down the U.S. Department of Education during his campaign, the president has signed a government funding bill that will jack up the Education Department budget 2025 levels by $217 million for a total of $79 billion. That’s $12 billion more than the administration’s original request.
Plus, the National Institutes of Health gets another increase of $415 million over Fiscal Year 2025. In total, $48.7 billion of taxpayer money will keep this bureaucracy alive and flourishing.
Republican states take action to cut property taxes
Several Republican-majority states are working to reduce and eliminate property taxes for citizens.
North Dakota, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, and Texas have made progress. Plus, Tennesseans will consider a ballot measure this November to eliminate the property tax.
Several states are also working to trim or fully end state income taxes, with nine states having zero income tax in 2026.
One-third of young women call themselves homosexual or transgender
The Gallup polling organization released new numbers on Americans identifying with a list of sexual perversions.
Now, 9% of U.S. adults call themselves sexually perverted, up from 7% in 2023, and 3.5% in 2012.
The increase has occurred with the younger generation primarily. Now, almost a quarter of 20-somethings and roughly one-third of young women call themselves homosexual or transgender.
Also, 10% of the 30 to 49-year-olds claim these perverse identities.
Transgender murderers kill at 10 times rate of general population
As The Worldview reported on February 12, the mass murderer held responsible for perpetrating Canada’s worst school shooting in recent history was a man pretending to be a woman, reports LifeSiteNews.com.
Jesse Van Rootselaar killed his mother and seven others, and wounded 27, before killing himself in the massacre in a remote town in British Columbia.
Another man pretending to be a woman, Robert Westman, was the perpetrator at the Annunciation Catholic School shooting last August. At least five other mass-casualty shootings are attributed to men and women attempting to change their gender. That includes the Aberdeen, Maryland Rite Aid shooting, the STEM School killings in Denver, Colorado, the Club Q massacre in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and the Covenant School massacre in Nashville, Tennessee.
Also, the Iowa Perry High School perpetrator appeared to be pushing the transgender agenda. A recent study from National Review found that transgender suspects participate in mass shootings at a rate of 10 times that of the rest of the population.
Alabama’s Governor signs Child Predator Death Penalty Act
Alabama Republican Governor Kay Ivey signed the Child Predator Death Penalty Act into law late last week, reports WVTM13. This law assigns the death penalty to crimes of first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy, and first-degree sexual assault of victims under age 12.
Biblical law assigns a serious penalty to those who kidnap or seize people against their will. Exodus 21:16 says, “Now one who kidnaps someone, whether he sells him or he is found in his possession, shall certainly be put to death.”
Kansas governor vetoes law to keep boys out of girls spaces
Kansas Democratic Governor Laura Kelly vetoed a bill passed by the Kansas legislature that would have kept biological males out of women's bathrooms.
The bill would have prosecuted any men, pretending to be women, who trespass in women’s spaces, on repeated offenses. Hopefully, the state legislature will override the veto, given that the Republican Party holds a two-thirds majority in both houses.
So far, 20 states have passed laws that ban men from invading women's spaces.
Proverbs 17:13 reminds us, “Whoever rewards evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.”
Puerto Rico affirms value of human life from conception
Puerto Rico Governor Jenniffer González-Colón signed a bill that affirms the humanity and dignity of an unborn child, from the moment of conception.
Governor González-Colón said the bill “classifies as first-degree murder the intentional and knowing killing of a pregnant woman, resulting in the death of the unborn child at any stage of gestation within the mother’s womb.” This was passed mainly for purposes of homicide and criminal law.
While this personhood law does not automatically ban abortion outright in Puerto Rico, pro-lifers are hopeful it will pave the way for future legal protections of unborn babies.
47% of Americans think visitors from other planets have visited Earth
(theme from the movie E.T.)
Interest in extraterrestrials and UFOs is at an all-time high in the United States.
A “Yougov” survey found 47% of Americans believe extraterrestrials have visited the Earth. Former President Barack Obama says ET’s probably exist. But he clarified on Instagram that, “I saw no evidence during my presidency that extraterrestrials have made contact with us.”
Pokemon card sells for $16 million
And finally, a trading card has netted the highest private sale amount in history. A Pokeman card took in over $16 million over the weekend.
That beats the last world record sale of a 1952 Mickey Mantle baseball card, which sold for $12.6 million in 2022.
There were only 41 of this particular Pokemon card produced in 1998. That compares to 75 billion Pokemon cards printed in 2025.
Pokeman is a game wherein the players play-act the harnessing of the power wielded by demons or monsters.

United States military strikes ISIS in Syria
The US military conducted strikes on more than 30 ISIS targets in Syria since the beginning of February.
According to US Central Command, or CENTCOM, the attacks "struck ISIS infrastructure and weapons storage targets with precision munitions delivered by fixed-wing, rotary-wing, and unmanned aircraft."
CENTCOM Commander Brad Cooper said, “Striking these targets demonstrates our continued focus and resolve for preventing an ISIS resurgence in Syria. Operating in coordination with coalition and partner forces to ensure the enduring defeat of ISIS makes America, the region and the world safer."
More than 50 ISIS terrorists have reportedly been killed in the past couple of months by the United States military.
Tensions remain high between the US and the Middle East, with all eyes on potential military action in Iran.
US House passes SAVE Act
The U.S. House of Representatives passed the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act requiring those who vote in American elections to provide proof of citizenship.
The bill passed 218-213, with every House Republican voting in favor of the measure. Texas Democrat Henry Cuellar also crossed the aisle to vote for the law.
The law is touted by Republicans as a simple way to secure American elections and to eliminate cheating and foreign influence. Americans also overwhelmingly favor the requirement of a photo ID to cast a vote.
However, the bill faces a hard road in the Senate, with Republicans holding only 53 seats, but needing 60 votes to pass the SAVE Act.

Nigerian Muslims killed 300: How you can help!
The Muslims continue to kill Catholics and Protestants in Nigeria, Africa.
On February 10th, suspected Fulani Muslim militants killed more than 100 people in the Southern Taraba State, and injured thousands more, reports International Christian Concern. Armed attackers arrived in the early morning hours, when residents were asleep, unleashing gunfire and setting homes, churches, and harvested crops ablaze.
And on February 3rd, Muslims killed over two hundred people in remote villages in Kwara, Katsina and Benue States, reports Christian Solidarity Worldwide. Many of the victims were found with their hands bound behind their backs and their throats cut. The dead included women and children.
Judd Saul, Founder of Equipping the Persecuted, wrote, “Entire villages in the Middle Belt have been attacked. Pastors targeted. Families burned out of their homes. Survivors are now fleeing with nothing — grieving, wounded, and traumatized.”
He added, “While the killing continues, something significant is finally happening in Washington, DC. After six years of relentless advocacy, briefings, intelligence reports, and meetings, legislation has now been introduced to protect persecuted Christians in Nigeria.”
Republican Congressmen Riley Moore of West Virginia and Chris Smith of New Jersey introduced the Nigeria Religious Freedom and Accountability Act of 2026.
Rep. Smith said, “Now that President Trump has rightly redesignated Nigeria a ‘Country of Particular Concern,’ the United States has a responsibility to do its due diligence in ensuring that the Nigerian government is taking the proper steps to address and punish the systemic violence against Christians and non-radical Muslims by Islamist extremists, such as Boko Haram and Fulani terrorists.”
Call your Representative today at 202-225-3121. Ask him or her to co-sponsor the Nigeria Religious Freedom and Accountability Act of 2026. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to get a live operator who will connect you to the Rep.’s office. If it’s after hours, just leave a voicemail with your name, phone number and the name of the bill. That number again is 202-225-3121.
And prayerfully consider sending a much-need donation to Equipping the Persecuted that works with Nigerian Christians on the ground. The website is www.EquippingThePersecuted.org
Assemblies of God pastor accused of sexual abuse for 20 years
Pastor Rod Loy, who leads First Assembly of God in Little Rock, Arkansas has stepped aside from his role. He will face an investigation following a recent lawsuit from a former member who claims he sexually abused her for 20 years, beginning when she was 16, reports The Christian Post.
Loy’s church was ranked as the third-largest Assemblies of God congregation in the United States, with more than 16,500 members in 2017. It also helped to plant more than 1,350 churches in 63 nations.
The claims of abuse are detailed in a civil lawsuit filed by 45-year-old Suzanne Lander in the Circuit Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, on January 26.
The lawsuit claims, “Defendant Loy exploited his position as a trusted spiritual leader to systematically groom, manipulate, and sexually abuse a vulnerable sixteen-year-old girl who had survived years of parental sexual abuse and trafficking, [He] used religious teachings and scripture to convince Plaintiff that God wanted her to submit to his sexual demands, telling her repeatedly that performing sexual acts pleased God and made her better in God’s eyes.”
Lander alleges that “only months” after she began attending the church as a teenager in 1996, Loy, who was then serving as executive pastor, “initiated sexual abuse.”
Lander alleged that Loy told her that God wanted her to please him sexually and shockingly used Scriptures like Hebrews 13:17 to get her to comply. It says, “Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.”
The lawsuit alleges that Loy's abuse of Lander spanned from 1996 to 2016, including while she was married.
Matthew 18:6 says, “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in Me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”
Pastor Loy, age 59, denies all the allegations, reports HelpingSurvivors.org. And the church reported that the investigation found no evidence to substantiate the allegations. Church leaders further emphasized that both Pastor Loy and the board “vehemently deny these claims” and are preparing to defend themselves in court.
Father not allowed to opt 5-year-old son out of LGBT propaganda
A Massachusetts judge has ruled that a father cannot pull his 5-year-old son out of kindergarten lessons that promote homosexual propaganda, reports Fox News.
Last Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Dennis Saylor issued a memorandum ruling in favor of Lexington Public Schools regarding two books in the kindergarten curriculum.
Judge Saylor said the two disputed books, Pink Is for Boys and Except When They Don't, do not fall under the opt-out provision because they focus on gender stereotypes rather than explicit themes.

Gloria Gaither offers a sobering warning to Christian music industry
And finally, Christian songwriter Gloria Gaither addressed a roomful of young people in the Christian music industry, reports GodTube.com.
Listen.
GAITHER: “I don't know what's next. I'm scared about AI [Artificial Intelligence]. You are here as a guardian of the real. That's what we're trusting you to do. And we're going to die and leave that to you. And I want you all to know that we understand the value of you, and especially because we have no idea how to do what you are doing to make 10 billion hits on whatever streams those are.
“It doesn't matter. That technology is going to change. You're going to be antiquated too, but your heart is not going to be antiquated.”
Together with her husband Bill, they’ve written 700 songs. Mrs. Gaither addressed the Christian song writers in the room and offered a sober warning.
GLORIA GAITHER: “I am 83.”
BILL GAITHER: “A good looking 83.” (laughter)
GLORIA GAITHER: “I still believe that if I write a song and I shoot it into the air, I have no idea where it's going to land and what life it’s going to change. But we've been doing this long enough to get the letters back from Australia and South Africa, and all over the planet, that said, ‘That arrow landed in my heart.’
“I believe in art. When everybody is arguing, and all the debates are done and the news is turned off, art will still speak. And it will bring together people that think they hate each other. Movies do it, but nothing does it like a song. Nothing. It is distilled into three minutes of total power. Trust me. And, if you have a gift for making that, be a good steward of it because that power is dangerous in the wrong hands.”

China named global ‘Puppet Master’ of religious persecution
At a congressional hearing on February 4, former U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom Sam Brownback asserted that China continues to aid authoritarian and communist nations worldwide in their quest to suppress religious freedom, reports International Christian Concern.
Brownback explained that China is the main driver of assistance to religious persecutors throughout the world. He said, “This alliance of communist, authoritarian, [and] totalitarian regimes will literally stop at nothing to control people of faith. China is the puppet master behind all of it.”
According to Bob Fu of China Aid, “The Chinese Communist Party has a powerful civilian surveillance system with hundreds of millions of face-recognition cameras. They are all over China, including all four walls of the church building and pulpits and every corner of the street.”
Known as “digital authoritarianism,” China is sharing its technological surveillance programs with nations, including Iran, Russia, and Saudi Arabia, that are known for abuses of religious freedom.
Psalm 23:4 says, “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for You [God] are with me; Your rod and staff, they comfort me.”
Hawley demands congressional oversight of abortion pill after FDA’s safety failure
Republican Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri is calling for a crackdown on the abortion kill pill, Mifepristone, saying it’s time for Congress to increase oversight of the drug and reinstate what he describes as basic safety guardrails, reports Fox News.
He said, "Abortions are going up every single year. What's driving that is Mifepristone. It's the chemical abortion drug that is getting mailed into every state in the country. It doesn't matter what the state laws are. It doesn't matter if your state restricts abortion, bans abortion, or bans Mifepristone. It doesn't matter. It's getting mailed into every single state without a doctor visit, many times, without even a doctor's prescription. No follow-up. It's unbelievable!"
Chemical abortions now account for 63% of all U.S. abortions. Not only do 11% of women who swallow the Abortion Kill Pill have to go to the emergency room due to hemorrhaging and sever bleeding, but the FDA has not completed the study of its dangers to women which it promised.
Senator Kennedy: “The Karen wing of Democrat Party wants to defund ICE!”
Democrats and Republicans are still battling over the funding for the Department of Homeland Security bill as Democrats demand restrictions on Immigration and Customs Enforcement or I.C.E., reports RedState.com.
But, on Fox News, Republican Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana had a very direct message to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, a Democrat from New York, about the Democrats' demands to defund I.C.E.
KENNEDY: "The Karen wing of the Democratic Party wants to defund ICE, just like they wanted to defund the police. And we know how that vampire movie turned out. The Karen wing of the Democratic Party is in control of the Democratic Party.
“Even if we agreed to every one of Senator Schumer's conditions -- and I won’t vote for 'em -- he couldn't deliver the Democratic votes. Because the Karen wing will punish any Democrat who votes to keep the Department of Homeland Security open."
Jelly Roll's wife says backlash to his Gospel message at Grammy Awards is 'borderline demonic'
As The Worldview reported on February 3rd, Jason DeFord, known as Jelly Roll, won three Grammys including one for the Best Contemporary Country album.
In a February 8th episode of her podcast, Jelly Roll’s wife, Alisa, claims that the backlash against her husband has been “horrific” and “borderline demonic” after the singer thanked Jesus for saving his life and encouraged others to trust Christ at the Grammy Awards, reports The Christian Post.
Listen.
ALISA DEFORD: “Who would have thought that my husband's speech would set the internet on fire? The problem is people are weaponizing the Bible and religion way more than they are celebrating the name of Jesus.
“They're just proving why people do not want to be a Christian. Seeing all of these people online just tearing apart my husband's walk of faith makes me not want to associate with that type of Christianity. It's so horrific and it is so sad and it's borderline demonic.
“I've been seeing videos where people are saying that my husband, he's a ‘performative Christian.’ If I wasn't trying to walk with God, I would find you and slap you, lady, but I'm trying to turn the other cheek and be better.
“In what world is it okay to ever question somebody's walk with God? All he's saying is, ‘Hey, Jesus is for everybody. Jesus does not belong to one political party. Jesus loves you and the Internet lost their minds.”
Some critics claimed that Jelly Roll’s words were “very MAGA,” while others accused him of using religion to try to grow his brand.
Jelly Roll credited Jesus and his “beautiful wife” with changing his life.
Romans 1:16 says, “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.”
Valentine’s Day birthed through Christian martyr’s death
And finally, have you ever wondered why we celebrate Valentine’s Day on February 14th?
Well, Pastor Valentine or Valentinus was a clergyman in the Roman Empire who lived during the reign of Claudius Gothicus or Claudius II. Because the Emperor was having difficulty getting young men to volunteer to serve in the army to fight his wars, he prohibited marriage which would further hurt the conscription rate.
Pastor Valentine, who celebrated God’s love and Biblical love between husband and wife, secretly married Christian couples in the forest which ultimately led to his arrest and imprisonment.
While Claudius took a liking to Pastor Valentinus, the bold preacher tried to convert the Emperor which resulted in a sentence of death.
In Romans 10:14, the Apostle Paul asks, "How, then, can they call on the One they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?”
Valentine was beaten with clubs and stones. And when that failed to kill him, Valentine was beheaded on February 14, A.D. 269. And now you know the rest of the story.
Pick up a copy of the excellent children’s book entitled Valentine: God’s Courageous Evangelist.

Olympics can prompt prayer among Christian viewers
(Audio of Olympic theme song)
Over 3,500 athletes from 93 countries are competing at the 2026 Winter Olympics Games in Milan, Italy this month.
Fourteen of these countries are on the Open Doors’ World Watch List of the most oppressive places to be a Christian. Those countries include Eritrea, Nigeria, Pakistan, Iran, India, and China.
Open Doors has a message for Christian viewers of the Olympics. They said, “Use the Olympics in a potentially surprising way: to pray. … Take a moment to think about the situation of your brothers and sisters in that country and pray for it.” You can reference the organization’s prayer guide for each country through a link in our transcript today at TheWorldview.com.
Ephesians 6:18 says, “Pray at all times in the Spirit with every prayer and request, and stay alert with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints.”
Canadian gunman killed 10 people at school
Tragically, a transgender shooter opened fire at a Canadian school on Tuesday, reports LifeSiteNews.com.
Jesse Strang, a 17-year-old male pretending to be a female while wearing a dress, reportedly killed 10 people including himself. He also injured 25 people. It’s Canada’s deadliest school shooting in decades.
The shooting took place at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in northeastern British Columbia which has fewer than 200 students enrolled in Grades 7 through 12.
Chris Elston, a Canadian pro-family activist, said, “He was a young man who needed serious help for his mental health. Instead, his delusion was affirmed, and the result is murdered innocent children.”
Later, Elston added, “Someone needed to tell this kid the truth and help him to be happy as a man, but it’s illegal to do so. It’s a criminal offense of conversion therapy. So, he never got help and he got worse. Murdered children paid the price for our politicians’ stupidity and cowardice. Not even our police can call him a man. A cult has taken over our society. “
Please pray for the families suffering through this unimaginable loss.
YouVersion Bible engagement up dramatically in Latin America
Online Bible platforms are seeing unprecedented engagement in Latin America so far this year.
This trend marks a year since the YouVersion Bible platform established a regional office in Mexico City.
On January 1, nearly two million people subscribed to Bible reading plans. And the app saw over 22.2 million active users on the first Sunday of the year.
This marks a 20% growth from last year. Countries with record levels of engagement include Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, and El Salvador.
Only 31% o Protestants read Bible daily
In the United States, new analysis from Lifeway Research found most Protestant churchgoers don’t read the Bible on a daily basis.
Seventeen percent of churchgoers read the Bible at least monthly. Fourteen percent read weekly. Thirty percent read a few times a week. And only 31% read the Bible daily.
However, the percentage of churchgoers who read the Bible daily or at least a few times a week is now 61%. That’s up from 36% in 2007.
Romans 12:2 reminds us, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
GOP to FDA: Abortion Kill Pill is hurting women
U.S. Senate Republicans criticized the Food and Drug Administration on Tuesday after a closed-door briefing on the abortion kill pill.
The FDA is supposed to be conducting a safety review of mifepristone, one of the drugs used in chemical abortions. Republicans are accusing the agency of dragging its feet on the study.
Listen to comments from Republican Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri in an interview on Washington Watch with Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council.
HAWLEY: “Tony. I just think, at this point, this study, it's vital. It should be done. I don't have any confidence that the FDA is actually going to do it. And, in the meantime, abortions in this country are increasing. There are more abortions now than when Roe was the law of the land. And that's because of this chemical abortion.”
U.S. homicides down 20%
The Major Cities Chiefs Association released its latest report on violent crime in the U.S.
The report collects data from 67 of America’s biggest police departments.
Compared to 2024, reported homicides were down nearly 20% last year. And reported violent crimes are falling after a surge of reports during the COVID-era shutdowns.
130,000 new American jobs
The United States added 130,000 jobs in January, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Analysts expected only 55,000 jobs. It’s the biggest job growth in over a year. The gains were led by healthcare, social assistance, and construction.
The unemployment rate remained slightly elevated at 4.3%.
92% of Americans like religious themes in movies & TV
And finally, a new survey found most Americans are open to religious themes in movies and TV shows.
The 2026 Faith & Entertainment Index found 92% of U.S. adults say faith has a role to play in modern entertainment. And 77% believe it can have broad appeal.
Brooke Zaugg, executive director of the Faith & Media Initiative, said, “Religion can feel scary to talk about — like politics — so it creates the illusion that it’s a small group. That makes it easy for filmmakers to oversimplify it or not give it much thought, instead of recognizing how valuable faith storytelling can be when it’s done well.”

Christians are leaving volatile Middle East
The number of Christians in the Middle East is falling as religious freedom deteriorates in the region.
Karmella Borashan of the Assyrian International Council addressed the International Religious Freedom Summit in Washington, D.C. last week. She warned, “Christianity is fading from the Middle East and [Christians] are placed in the mercy of the perpetrators. Once we had 1.5 million Christians; now we have only less than 300,000 left.”
Assyrian Christians, in particular, face persecution from Muslim Jihadists in Syria and Iraq.
Hebrews 13:3 says, “Remember the prisoners as if chained with them—those who are mistreated—since you yourselves are in the body also.”
U.S. and Hungary partner to advance religious freedom
Speaking of the Middle East, the United States and Hungary signed an agreement last week to advance religious freedom in the region.
The U.S. Department of State noted, “Christians are the most persecuted religious group worldwide, yet atrocities and attacks against them too often go unaddressed. Such persecution presents a threat to American security and undermines the values upon which our nation was built.”
Hungary has already been supporting suffering believers for years through its office of Aid for Persecuted Christians. The new agreement is focused on aiding the church in sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East.
More Gen Zers attending church in New Zealand
Baptist churches in New Zealand are seeing increased interest from young people.
Gen Z has reportedly been leading a rise in church attendance in the West, known as the “quiet revival.”
The 2025 Annual Report for the Baptist Churches of New Zealand noted similar findings for its young people.
Youth attendance in these churches increased 24% between 2022 and 2024. And people under the age of 25 accounted for nearly 60% of baptisms reported.
Trump tosses Obama’s global warming policy
In the United States, the Trump administration is expected to repeal an Obama-era climate change policy this week.
The policy is known as the Endangerment Finding. It claimed that greenhouse gases, like carbon dioxide, are a danger to public health. The finding has been the legal basis for regulating greenhouse gas emissions.
The Environmental Protection Agency plans to rescind the rule, making it “the largest act of deregulation in the history of the United States.”

RFK partners with Christian recovery programs for addicts & homeless
The Trump administration is welcoming faith-based organizations to participate in a new recovery program for drug addiction and homelessness.
U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made the announcement last week at Prevention Day. It’s the largest government-sponsored gathering dedicated to advancing the prevention of substance use.
Listen to comments from Secretary Kennedy.
KENNEDY: “This is a chronic disease. It's a physical disease. It's a mental disease. It's an emotional disease. But, above all, it's a spiritual disease. And we need to recognize that faith-based organizations play a critical role, helping people re-establish their connections to community.”
Grandfather recorded entire Bible on audio for grandkids
And finally, a grandfather went viral since December for giving his grandchildren a recording of him reading the entire Bible for Christmas.

I can’t believe how many people this has reached. God is definitely in this story. … We are up to needing 118 copies for people all over the world.”
Psalm 78:4 says, “We will not hide them from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and His strength and His wonderful works that He has done.”

Hong Kong man critical of Chinese Communists sentenced to 20 years
In a Hong Kong court, religious freedom and free speech advocate Jimmy Lai has been sentenced to twenty years in prison for publishing articles against the communist Chinese government.
Lai is a British Citizen and an adherent of the Catholic Church. World journalists are marking the case as a worldwide setback for freedom of speech and freedom of the press.
The United Kingdom home office has responded to the news.
The Hong Kong Free Press reports that “British national status holders will be able to immigrate into the U.K. with their children. The office estimates that 26,000 people will arrive in the U.K. over the next five years.”
Thousands of Tanzanians murdered
Political upheaval, tyranny, and blood in the streets is the order of the day in Tanzania over the last few months.
Some reports have revealed the government of President Samia Suluhu Hassan killed thousands of Tanzanians. Hassan is a Muslim who was re-elected in a landslide victory last October, marred by accusations of massive fraud. That’s when the African country was plunged into chaos and rioting.
The bloodshed and terror has gone on for months, reports The Washington Stand. In an effort to conceal the atrocities taking place there, the government has reportedly shut down the internet.
Tanzania is at least nominally Christian with a 57 percent Christian population and a 37 percent Muslim population, as the Muslim creep hits south Saharan Africa.
Christian martyrdom grows with Muslim population in Nigeria
Islamic influence is growing in Nigeria as well — a nation where 56 percent of the population is Muslim and 43 percent is Christian. This has resulted in the martyrdom of 50,000 Christians and the displacement of millions of Christians from their homeland.
Pray for our Christian brothers and sisters and the people of Tanzania, Nigeria, and Uganda.
Civilian killings continue in Nigeria

War Department will no longer work with Harvard
War Secretary Pete Hegseth announced that the War Department will no longer send military officers to Harvard. He slammed the university for what he called its support of terrorism and the Chinese Communist Party.
Hegseth said, “Too many of our officers came back looking too much like Harvard — heads full of globalist and radical ideologies that do not improve our fighting ranks.”
The War Department is set to re-evaluate all Ivy League school partnerships.
Virginia Democrats unveil gerrymandered congressional map
Democrat lawmakers in Virginia put forward a new congressional map heading into the midterm elections this November.
The Old Dominion state map heavily favors Democrats, giving them four extra seats, while the Republicans would lose four seats. This comes after the Supreme Court ruled that the new congressional map for California was valid, giving Democrats five additional seats.
Virginia Democrats swept the last election, winning races for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Attorney General.
All told, gerrymandering in Virginia, California, and a few other states should yield the Democrats an additional 5 to 9 seats in Congress in 2026. And gerrymandering in Texas, North Carolina, and Missouri could yield the Republicans an additional 6 to 10 seats in the upcoming election.
Connecticut works to expand abortion access
Connecticut is launching a billboard campaign to promote abortion and death, reports LifeSiteNews.
The campaign, sponsored by the Reproductive Equity Now Foundation, is advertising the state’s commitment to make the killing of unborn children more accessible. Billboards will announce a state-provided pro-abortion hotline.
Connecticut Democrat Attorney General William Tong talked about his state’s culture of death. He said, “Abortion is safe, legal and accessible here in Connecticut, and that’s the way it’s going to stay.”
But Proverbs 31:9 instructs us to “Open your mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.”
GOP Rep chastises NBC & NFL for Bad Bunny’s foul lyrics
And finally, Sunday’s Super Bowl half-time show turned into one big leftist political statement with Benito Ocasio, known as Bad Bunny, and a few other characters, who openly opposed President Trump’s “America First” policies.
To his shame, the Puerto Rican singer sang a bunch of foul-mouthed, sexually-explicit lyrics in Spanish.
Republican Congressman Randy Fine of Florida did not pull any punches in his X post. He wrote, “You can't say the f-word on live TV. Bad Bunny’s disgusting halftime show was illegal. Had he said these lyrics -- and all of the other disgusting and pornographic filth -- in English on live TV, the broadcast would have been pulled down and the fines would have been enormous.
“We are sending FCC Chairman Brendan Carr a letter calling for dramatic action, including fines and broadcast license reviews, against the NFL, NBC, and Bad Bunny. Lock them up.”
You can send a short 2-4 sentence letter to FCC Chairman Brendan Carr, urging him to levy these fines. The address is Federal Communications Commission, 45 L Street NE, Washington, DC 20554.

KID ROCK: “There’s a book a’sitting in your house somewhere that could use some dusting off . . . There’s a man who died for all our sins a’hanging from the cross. You can give your life to Jesus and He’ll give you a second chance, till you can’t.”
Other performers included Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett.
War Secretary Pete Hegseth and House Speaker Mike Johnson both praised the Turning Point event, reports Politico.

Speaking to the media ahead of Friday’s opening ceremony, two-time Olympian and Olympic gold medalist Chris Lillis, who’s competing in the men’s aerials, said, "I feel heartbroken about what’s happening in the United States. I’m pretty sure you’re referencing I.C.E. and some of the protests and things like that. I think that, as a country, we need to focus on respecting everybody’s rights."
And first-time Olympian Hunter Hess, who’s competing in the men’s free ski halfpipe, said, “It brings up mixed emotions to represent the U.S. right now. … There’s obviously a lot going on that I’m not the biggest fan of, and I think a lot of people aren’t.
"I’m representing my friends and family back home … all the things that I believe are good about the U.S. If it aligns with my moral values, I feel like I’m representing it. Just because I’m wearing the flag doesn't mean I represent everything that’s going on in the U.S.”
The remarks elicited a strong response from Team USA supporters on social media.
One wrote, "The anti-ICE, liberal athletes are already insufferable at the Olympics. If you’re not proud to represent the red, white, & blue, stay home."
Another wrote, "Chris Lillis and Hunter Hess should be sent back home immediately. They have insulted our entire nation on the world stage and should no longer be allowed to represent us."
House Speaker Johnson: “Borders and walls are Biblical.”
In response to Pope Leo’s claim that Trump’s deportation efforts are unbiblical, House Speaker Mike Johnson of Louisiana was asked to defend President Trump’s deportation of illegal immigrants Biblically.
REPORTER: “Pope Leo has cited Matthew 25:35 to critique Donald Trump's mass deportation agenda. How would you respond to Pope Leo in Scripture?”
JOHNSON: “Borders and walls are Biblical. From the Old Testament to the New [Testament], God has allowed us to set up our civil societies and have separate nations. Immigration is not something that's frowned upon in Scripture. In fact, it's welcome. We're to welcome the sojourner and love our neighbor as ourself.
“When people cite passages out of the Old Testament, they say, well, you're supposed to take care of the sojourner and the neighbor, treat them as yourself, welcome then in. Yes, but that is an admonition to individuals, not to the civil authorities.”
Speaker Johnson cited the book of Romans to bolster his point Biblically.
JOHNSON: “The civil authorities are given authority under Scripture to maintain order. Romans 13 says that the ‘civil authorities are God's agents of wrath to bring punishment upon the wrongdoer.’ And it says, ‘If you do right, you have no fear of the civil authorities.’
“But those civil authorities are necessary. It's a calling. It's a calling to maintain order in society. And we have not had that.
“When Biden and Harris opened the borders wide for four years, we had as many as 20 million illegals come across the country. And we all know many dangerous people -- hardened criminals, child molesters, rapists, murderers, all the rest, terrorists -- who came into the country. We did not take care of our borders.
“Sovereign borders are Biblical and good and right and they're just. It's not because we hate the people on the outside. It's because we love the people on the inside.”
Planned Parenthood drops lawsuit trying to get federal funding back
Planned Parenthood has thrown in the towel on its efforts to preserve its primary federal funding, voluntarily dismissing its lawsuit against the defunding provision of the Trump administration’s signature legislation, reports LifeSiteNews.com.
Last July, President Donald Trump signed into law his “One Big Beautiful Bill Act”, a wide-ranging policy package that includes a one-year ban on federal tax dollars going through Medicaid to any that provides abortions for reasons other than rape, incest, or supposed threats to the mother’s life.
According to Operation Rescue, 54 abortion mills shut their doors in 2025, 36 of which were Planned Parenthood abortuaries.
Planned Parenthood sued, alleging that even though it was not specifically named in the Trump defunding bill, it was effectively the only organization that qualified under the bill’s language and that losing that money would cause “devastating” layoffs and location closures.
Erik Baptist, an attorney with Alliance Defending Freedom, said, “The American people do not want their tax dollars propping up the abortion industry. … We will continue to stand against any attempts by the abortion giant to force Americans to fund dangerous procedures.”
Actor Tim Allen ‘amazed’ after reading entire Bible
And finally, actor Tim Allen recently finished reading through the entire Bible word for word, reports FaithWire.com.
On X, he wrote, “Finished the entire Bible. It’s been a 13-month, word-by-word, page-by-page, no-skimming journey. Humbled, enlightened and amazed at what I read and what I learned. I will rest and meditate on so much.”
Allen has recently been increasingly vocal about his Christian faith journey. He also sat down with fellow comedian Bill Maher for a conversation on Maher’s “Club Random.”
The “Home Improvement” star had quite a bit to say about the Apostle Paul and the downside of empty philosophy.
ALLEN: “Without law, you don't know what sinful is. So, law was basically just to give you guardrails of what the world is. What you're going to find is the cycle of ignorance with philosophy. And that's where I've been in the last 20 years. Philosophy gets run in these circles. It can't explain anything really.”
In Colossians 2:8, the Apostle Paul warns, “Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.”
