This week, Kieran launches our Christmas series by preaching on 2 Peter 3:1-9.Our Christmas series is titled “Looking Forward to Christmas”. It has us looking back to Jesus’ arrival and looking forward to His return.Christmas gives us the opportunity to look back to what happened in Bethlehem over 2,000 years ago, that arrival of a baby named Jesus, and how it has changed history forever. As Christians, we have weighed up the evidence and we are convinced that Jesus was who he said he was, God incarnate, the infinite One who limited Himself so that we could be rescued. For this reason, Christmas time shouldn’t be a time of only looking back, we should also look forward. We can look forward to the promise that Jesus has made us: that He will come back and when He does, He will renew the world. Jesus will bring justice and show mercy to those who have put their trust in him. For us, this time of year is a time of great celebration and great hope because we are looking forward to another Christmas when Jesus will return.
This week, Leon continues our 'His Kingdom Our Home' series by preaching on Luke 16:1-18.

Reading through the book of Luke, this sermon series at Narrabeen Baptist Church will help us better understand God’s kingdom in the now and not yet.Travis Mundy preaches on Luke 11:37-54.1. Has your commitment to Christ waned with the loss of spiritual habits (going to church, worship, Community Groups, corporate prayer)? What does this indicate about the vibrancy of your faith?2. Are you now, in the pandemic, someone who is reaching out and caring for people? Are you someone who is reaching out of God? What might the lack of these things indicate about the depth of your faith?3. Are you currently practicing all the things you’ve been taught in church, Bible studies, personal devotions and by those who have mentored you? Or have you, because of the loss of these things, “switched off” from obedience? What does this indicate about the authenticity of your faith?
