2020 has presented many opportunities for both solidarity and disagreement. When there are major thought & value differences between friends, conversations may spiral out of control and end in frustration. In this episode, we discuss how to keep those conversations respectful and productive, how to know when it may be time to take a break,  and how to manage your anxiety around having hard conversations in general. 
Parentification occurs when boundaries are blurred and the roles of parent and child become reversed. Parentified children carry a slew of symptoms with them into adulthood that tend to go unrecognized or labeled as "responsible" or "mature." In this episode, we will cover the 2 types of parentification, the 5 different signs, AND we'll suggest ways to cope & heal if this has been your experience.
