In today's episode, I read poems by the great Robert Louis Stevenson, the author of books such as Treasure Island and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.  All of the poems in this episode are taken from his book, A Child's Garden of Verses and cover a multitude of topics from distant lands, pirate ships and even the moon! Here it is!! The first episode of the Collective Realm Podcast.  In this first episode, we dive into the first three chapters of  Old Mother West Wind.  In these fun stories we learn about Mrs. Redwing's speckled egg, how grandfather frog lost his tail and what surprises Reddy Fox.  Old Mother West Wind by Thornton W. Burgess (1910) is a wonderful children's book and one that brought me a lot of joy as a child.  I hope these stories can do that for you as well.  

So what is this whole podcast about?  Well, The Collective Realm Podcast is simply a story teller telling stories.  In this podcast I hope to bring fun, thoughtfulness and joy to any and all that listen. I will be reading short stories and books that can be found in the public domain.  I hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I enjoyed recording it.
