Description
In a world of doubt and confusion, we can all use some conversations around purpose and promise.
We talk about friendships, family, faith--all the favorite things.
The playbook has been written...we just need to know what to look for and how step into our purpose in the promises that have already been given.
Make this your time! Let it go, let it wait, let it be.

I chat with my friend Katie, who is the founder of the Hope Cards Project. She finds ways to deliver messages of hope to mailboxes and coffee shops through simple statements on hand painted cards. You can gift them or keep them for yourself. You will love her sweet spirit and daily desire to bring people HOPE.
Tomorrow's leaders are with me today on this episode, the first of season 3! We talk about leading through experience and the unknown and how Jesus is still very real to this generation. They will inspire and encourage you in all they have to offer to today's students.
We have men in the house this week! For a special Independence Day edition, I invited 2 friends who just happen to be Marines and in ministry. We talk about God and country--should they be intertwined or two separate entities? We also talk about our responsibilities as Americans AND Christians. It's a GREAT conversation that you will want to listen to and share.
I hope ALL teachers are thoroughly enjoying summer! After the year you had wearing multiple hats, you deserve it! Regardless of if you have school-age children in your house or not, you will love this conversation with some of the best! Listen again, or maybe for the first time!
Revisit my conversation with my good friend, Katie Guiliano. Katie is the founder and owner of Hosanna Revival, a paper goods organization. She is deeply involved in ministry within the Church and has a heart for making Jesus known. She's the best, and you will love hearing from her for the first time, or maybe again.
Vanessa and Brooke Rosander, two sisters, who are some of the strongest girls I know, are my amazing guests this week. They experienced incredible grief when they lost their momma to cancer when they were just 8 and 6. Today, they share their story, what it was like the weeks and months after, and how they found a way to forever honor their mom while moving forward in the future God has for them.
Enjoy our tender conversation that will bring tears and laughter to your day.
May is National Foster Care Month, so I invited two of my friends who are also foster mommas. You will love this conversation around the challenges and joys of foster care. You will even learn more about what each of us can do to play a role in caring for these children.
We are kicking off May with a Mother's Day episode! What a fun conversation with my very own kids! We talk about the challenges of being teens, the good and bad of being part of a ministry family, the importance of the right influence, and everything in between.
I'm a little biased but this one is one of my faves!
This week I have my friend Dr. Michael Dorsey. He shares how his experience as a contestant on The Biggest Loser not only changed him physically, but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. He also shares how significant seasons of life shape the path of the future and how God uses all situations to grow us and shape us to be more like Him.

Part 2 of my conversation with Amber Ayers...she rounds out the rest of her story with where she is now and how she has learned that sometimes shedding the past brings incredible change and beauty at the same time.
How many people do you know who seem to have it all together? Like life just fell into place? Well, my friend and podcast frequenter, Amber Ayers, could seem to be one of those people. But if you only knew the reality of someone's background and upbringing, an entirely different picture gets painted. Tune in to hear part one of Amber's story and how God has used trauma and disfunction to mold her and shaper her into the amazing person she is.

We are continuing the conversation around racial reconciliation and unity amongst our brothers and sisters. Ray and Carrie share their experiences as a bi-racial couple, and how they have learned from others as well as encouraged healthy growth in those around them. They are kind, and they are wise.

Part 2 of my conversation with Karen Anderson. 1 in 3 women have had an abortion. That is a startling statistic. That means that we ALL know someone, we just don't know that we know. Karen shares how she found hope and healing after ending an unwanted pregnancy. If you need help, please reach out. There is an entire community that is available to walk alongside you.

A very important conversation with my friend Karen Anderson. As a freshman in college, Karen was faced with an unplanned pregnancy and the incredibly difficult decision regarding what to do...a decision that would impact Karen for the rest of her life. Karen boldly and transparently shares the reality of her story, the pressure she faced, the shame she carried, and the redemption she received through Jesus.

It's been one year since the whole world seemed to shut down. And since then we have seen substance abuse, domestic abuse, suicide rates, depression, and anxiety all on the rise. My friend and licensed professional counselor, Annie Hoober, shares amazing wisdom as we talk through how to face the unknown and take captive our thoughts and emotions. It's a good one...free therapy. We can all use it.

It's hard to understand why some people face more trials and suffering than others. It's even harder to accept that there are those who seem to constantly find joy regardless of their circumstance. My friend, Brandice Rosander, is one of these people. You will love our conversation around balancing life (is that really a thing?), facing unbelievable challenges, experiencing loss, and still finding joy in all things. She's the real deal...finding grace in the grit of life.
I have my valentine, Andy, with me this week, and we are answering all of your relationship questions! Enjoy our conversation around what we've learned, what we are still learning, and how we navigate the same relationship tension that we all experience. It's a fun one!
