Is her friend Carly the same person from Rabbits!?
Wait, you're interviewing this guy who *says* he worked for a clandestine company that police the Fae and you did absolutely NO background research on him? C'mon!! On a side note though... I'm suddenly craving Deerpark water.... 🤔
it always cracks me up when I read "Too much like tanis/rabbits/tlm/tbt". They all intertwine. They're all part of the same story! They literally reference eachother in episodes.
what happened to his house burning down with his wife and child inside from the earlier episodes?
Already hate the pacing of the dialogue. The deliberate crypticness of the characters, the slightly over long pauses between speakers. Exactly what turned me off of the Black Tapes as well.
Loved Black Tapes (even with the crap ending), Rabbits was great, found Tanis good in beginning before he went on about chasing fish, but this is just booooooring. Even the npr style narrator seems disinterested. There are so many other great podcasts out there, so don't waste your time on this unless you want something soothing and uneventful in the background whilst you work. 💤
Hey Nick or someone w this cast. I cannot put into words the words I want to use regarding THEE MOST IRRATATING MUSIC IN A POFCAST I've ever listened to. And I have only 2 episodes to finish abd I have this sick feeling, LIKE WITH THE BLACK TAPES, the time I invested to listen will leave me hanging. I hope someday all of you get back pay for doing this. Its rotten.
I thought it was a decent podcast. You left it open for a possible season 2. Is there going to be a followup season? Thanks.
enjoyed it binged it in two days was very similar to tanis tho was still great
This is so boring. just interview after interview. No character development, world building, story and character arcs. Just boring interviews. Don't waste your valuable time on this crap. There is so much content out there that is better.
This podcast is an absolute delight. I love how the writers have merged their knowledge of religious texts and folklore to weave together a story that is both enticing and haunting in equal measure. Great job.
Disappointed if I'm honest. struggling to maintain focus as it is too similar to Tanis.
Disappointing, was hoping for more after being sent here by The Black Tapes creators. Tried 3 different times now but I just can't get in to this. Such a shame 😒
😔this is too similar to Tanis. It sounds like they copped pasted the story line just changing the names and places. I was disappointed after waiting a year for it to be released. Oh well that’s just my opinion. Like always good audio acting.
I need to listen to this!! (Just commenting because I’m out of space to subscribe)
I'm so digging this adult faery tale. I'm half way through episode 2, & can not stop binge watching!
