The Surgeon General has called the decline of mental health in children the 'defining public health issue of our time.' Suicide is the #1 killer of 13-14 year olds and the #2 killer of 10-14 year olds.
And now Wellstone is set to do something about it. They are about to open their pediatric wing, something the children of Madison County desperately need. Wellstone's Director of Development Karen Peterson is back to tell us all about why this is such a need in the community.

From being fascinated with the space race as a young boy to his life mission to become an astronaut to his adventures as a Top Gun fighter pilot, he has lived a heckuva life! And I especially got a lot out of his failures and what he learned from them.
