This morning Sally spoke on Psalm 22. This is the psalm that Jesus quoted from the cross. The psalm alternates between cries of anguish and songs of praise of what God has done and expectation of what he can and will do on the future.
This morning Bonnie spoke on Psalm 19 on how both creation and God’s word reveals and declares his glory. Prayer points • thanking God for different aspects of his creation. • Thanking god for the different benefits of his word based on verses 7-9. • That we would remain routed in him today.
This morning we looked at Psalm 18 - David’s personal story of deliverance - and the three ways we’re called to respond to difficult times. This morning Nic spoke from Psalm 16 Prayer points • We started by looking at Psalm 100:4-5 in starting with praise and thanks to God. • We then followed what Paul said in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 and prayed for all those in authority over us in particular King Charles, our PM Liz Truss and our new Government and also for the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby. • After Nic’s talk we then listened to a song called ‘I will say’ about having confidence in God as our strength and refuge whatever life throws at us.
This morning Anthony spoke from Psalm 15 Prayer points • Let’s pray for those who feel far from the LORD today • Let’s pray for those who are being crushed by money given with interest to repay • Let’s pray for ourselves, that we would find our stability in God alone and dwell with Him forever • Let’s pray for ourselves that we would be the kind of people that David invites us to become in the psalm, holy and righteous just as God is.
This morning Alan spoke on Psalm 14 We prayed into God's faithfulness and also for the ways He revealed Himself through yesterday's state funeral and ceremonies.
This morning Jo spoke on Psalm 12 Prayer points • Pray for Try Church Sunday, everyone who is invited to come and get the gospel • Pray for young people in schools and universities to find the truth that will set them free •Pray for the needy and the broken hearted to find redemption and deliverance • Pray for revival !

Today Joe spoke from Psalm 9 Prayer points: • Thank God for all He has done in our lives. Give him and praise and glory for who he is. • Ask God for help in making a stand for him and ‘confessing him before men’. • Praise God for his justice and sovereignty, that he his enthroned eternally and always in control.
Tim speaks today on the wonderful Psalm 8. He considers the hierarchy of Gods creation and our place within it. Today we prayed for the royal family and God’s will to be done.

This morning Emma spoke from Psalm 6 Prayer points • That we may bring our true selves to God and trust that when we repent we will be met with his mercy and forgiveness. • Pray for our brothers and sisters across the world who are struggling • Pray that they may reply on Jesus and rest in his promises.
This morning Reema spoke on Psalm 5 The Psalmist cries out to God, he cries out to a God who is just and he cries out for those who are experiencing injustice. We can cry out to God in the same way today. Pray: • Thank God for the protection we have in our lives • Cry out for the persecuted church. Afghanistan is currently the most dangerous place in the world to be a Christian, pray that Christians would know God as refuge and for their deliverance.
This Morning Robert spoke on Psalm 4 Prayer points: • Thank God that we can depend on him in times of trouble • Thank God that he hears our prayers • Thank God that we can rest safely in Him • Prayer for the new Prime Minister
This morning Ed spoke on Psalm 3 Prayer points: • For the Lord’s reigning as the new Prime Minister is to be announced and appointed today. • For the country of Afghanistan, more than a year since the Taliban took over; • Pray for God’s mercy in that heartache and for Christian believers to persevere in following Christ.

This morning Bonnie spoke on Luke 12: 27-31. Seeking His kingdom means prioritising Jesus and making sure he is the lord of all areas of our lives. It’s a daily decision and it will bring a shift in our perspective. Prayer points: • Ask God to highlight areas in our lives where we’re not priotising him or seeking his Kingdom. • Seek his Kingdom for our community: for Clapham, provision for revitalise 250, for the UK, for our government.
