Description

As a strong woman, I love to celebrate other strong women. I'm Layla, and I am here to talk about badass women, especially the ones we never learned about in history class. Some women you might know by name, but you may not know their whole story. Some women you may not have heard of at all, but have shaped the course of history. I am here to bring all these stories to you.

These women cannot be boiled down to just the stories of their lives. I want to analyze not only what they did, but who they were. What made them tick? What made them successful? And how can you apply it to your own life?

What do Mary Shelley, Cleopatra, Susan B. Anthony, and Frida Kahlo have in common?  They are all women who helped shape the world that we live in today.  Throughout history, women have been rebelling against institutions, making earth-shattering discoveries, and forging paths to greatness without apology.  But, in my opinion, we don’t hear enough about them.  My name is Layla Bryndzia, and I am going to share with you the true stories of the women who have earned their place in history. What do all these women have to do with you?  Not only do I think their stories should be shared, but I want to know what made them tick and how you can apply it to your own life.  After all, she fucking did it, so why can’t you fucking do it to?  Tune into SFDT wherever you listen to podcasts.
