It's been a while since the last episode got released. Is everything ok? I'm starting to worry that something happened to you... Hope to hear from you soon
Love this podcast 👍🏻
Nice
are there most episodes coming? this gap between them in scaring me. this is my favorite podcast.
it seems you forgot one important possible scenario at Yamaha. Lorenzo is a Yamaha style rider - nearly all of his successes came while riding a Yamaha, and you can bet he regrets leaving them every day. It is clear that the Honda is built 100% for Marquez and Lorenzo will never be comfortable with it as his riding style differs substantially from Marq's. I bet he is praying that Rossi retires, so he can make a triumphant return to his favorite team, and I bet Yamaha would love to have him back.
I'm surprised you didn't mention that Lorenzo was the only rider with soft/soft tire set up. Why did he do this? To me, it means he was going back to the Ducati days when he knew he was way off the pace, so he would set up with soft tires so he could at least run near the front for the first half of the race, but would always fade back out of the top ten. He did this in at least a dozen races.
Dang! I can't believe you gave Bautista only 40% credit for his performances, and 60% to Ducati! if that were true, his teammate Davies on the identical bike (and who has been with Ducati for years), wouldn't be wallowing back in 10th place and a second per lap slower! Give Bautista his full creds, it's at least 70% him and 30% the bike.
Vale won on a smoker(2stroke). He is the GOAT. Marc is just a goofy kid w a weirdo dad and probably hasn't even kissed a girl🤣
You haven't discussed that for the second half of the season Marc is likely not pushing at 100%. Assuming he's matured somewhat, he will be riding a bit more conservatively and aiming to finish 2nd or 3rd and not taking chances of a dnf. This is the smartest path to winning the championship. So for that reason, I think you're right that Dovi has a good chance of winning at Silverstone.
