In June 2023, a Brazilian federal court sentenced engineer Mário Marcelo Santoro to 27 years in prison for the 2018 murder of former partner Cecília Haddad in Australia. Santoro was convicted of aggravated homicide, asphyxiation, femicide and concealment of a corpse, after a surprise confession to the court. . In April 2018, the body of 38 year old Haddad was discovered in the Lane Cove river in Sydney, a few kilometres from her residence.. By then, Santoro had already left Australia and returned to his native Brazil.  So began a five year struggle to see justice done for Cecilia, which involved NSW homicide detectives working with their Brazilian counterparts to build the case against Santoro. I can't stand how these women are saying they had to do this or that because their boyfriend said so. yr in a hospital after giving birth you can tell him to go jump. and meeting on tinder just for fun and jump right in without knowing anything about him don't be surprised that he's violent. 😒

I received an alert for a missing man in Berowra Heights this March. I’m not sure if he has been found but I certainly kept an eye out and I know so many other people did too. The geotargeting is a great idea.

I honestly lost interest in this, the sound production is terrible, get rid of the background music and be clearer with the timeline. A lot of the "interviews" with the family members and what not seem scripted too which is just so boring. Just ask them the question, let them answer honestly and edit out the parts you don't need or want to broadcast. I was excited for this podcast but I've got to say I'm pretty disappointed.

I think she drowned at the beach. she had a depression and drowning is often seen by suiciders as cleansing of the mind.
