You do not want to miss this final episode of WCT The Podcast. Actually you probably do but thats not because of our guest, Lindsay Fickas. So at least give this a listen for Lindsay's sake but not Finchface's though! Anyhoo, we sit down, laugh, and banter with one of our hilarious and lovely guests one last time before retiring WCT The Podcast once and for all. Listen all the way through to hear about this final chapter and what is next for Amy, Andrew, and Finchface. In this episode we hear Amy say "What's the crack," and we talk with Lindsay about deconstructing and rebuilding of faith. We read some of Lindsay's funniest tweets and discover that Lindsay has an amazing talent naming every Sufjan Steven's song within the first couple measures of a song.  Also, Finchface's laugh track can be heard from start to finish. Before we wrap up one last time Amy rants about assimilating into American culture and offends the entire known world by critiquing Ted Lasso. Again, don't forget to listen all the way through as the Joel Cube prophesies whats to come of our podcasting careers.
It's SEXY TIME! Well, not really but we talk about sexy time with speaker, blogger, and award-winning author, Sheila Gregoire.   We got to sit down, hang out, and laugh with Sheila a bit, and want to share that with you! Sheila has provided a gift for the church in her timely book titled, "The Great Sex Rescue" and we talk about it in this episode.  Sex can be awkward to talk about in various Christian circles but not for us on WEIRD CHRISTIAN TWITTER.  But seriously the reality is God designed sex so let's get it right!  Sheila reminds us sex is NOT all about men and challenges the church to stop teaching otherwise. Thank you Sheila for joining us and sharing with us your wisdom and vast amount of knowledge on this topic.
It's your weekly tweets of the week news update.  A special segment called "Not a Dr., Dr. Amy!" Hosted by Not a Dr. Dr. Amy.  If you like *British humor you will not want to miss this segment, you Patriots!  *Our marketing team suggested we produce some British humor as stand-alone content because Amy's friends and mum are starting to listen.
Amy sat down with Lisa to chat about Weird Christian Twitter, her role in helping women out of domestic abuse and Lisa's MA Theology thesis about Theomacy! So, grab a drink, sit down and listen to the women talk theology and everything in between!
"Finally! A brand new episode of The Dividing Wine" with your host @jarransainsbury, SAID NO ONE!  But you get it anyway. In this bonus episode, Jarran rants about SBC Pirates for 7 minutes.
In this episode, we get to hang out with Dr. Beth Allison Barr discussing her new book The Making of Biblical Womanhood.  We had a blast being serious at times, learning, discussing history, laughing, and simply being together as fellow believers in Christ.  Dr. Barr's book is a must-read and we hope our 3 listeners will give it a read or even a listen on audible. We promise you will not regret it!
In this “LIVE” episode we celebrate the 1 year anniversary of #WCT as we know it today with a very special guest @Justamyzing. Ok it’s not really live but we did zero editing so you get the whole shebang. We’ve had Amy on before during one of our 5in5 episodes but this time we spend more time talking about WCT experiences, the good and bad and good again! Amy is a WCT legend and super encouraging. We had a blast hanging out with Amy and talking about the WCT community. Make sure to follow Amy on Twitter: @JustAmyZing
In this episode, we interview Eric Schumaker, the biggest of the smallest WCT accounts, in the most unprofessional manner.  Eric Schumaker is an author, songwriter, pastor, podcaster, and professional tweeter.  He discusses his brand new Novella "My Last Name" with the 3 of us; yet only 1 of us has managed to take the time to read his book.  We also spend a little bit of time talking about his book "Worthy" co-authored with Elyse Fitzpatrick and we make sure he knows that Elyse has way more Twitter followers than he does. Halfway through the episode, Amy has a complete meltdown over her poor internet connection while Andrew mansplains to her how to close an internet browser. Eric is stupefied by the thought that people actually listen to Weird Christian Twitter - The Podcast. Follow Eric on Twitter: @ElyseFitz Seriously, go to https://www.emschumacher.com/ and find out where you can purchase Eric's new novella, "My Last Name."  Use code WCT at checkout for absolutely ZERO discount.
It is the very last day of our week of encouragement where we release a special "5 in 5" episode per day!  In this episode, we introduce you to the Holy and Reverent, Old Testament Scholar and Profesor Dr. Daniel Bunn. Though Finchface insists to call him both Dan and Dr. @danielbunnjr would prefer you just call him Daniel. I mean, would you just look at that humility, folks! When Daniel isn't dropping that Old Testament knowledge on the Twitter feed he's cracking them jokes, so you should make sure to give him a follow: @danielbunnjr Our "5 in 5" series is where one of our hosts spends 5 minutes asking various #WCT peeps 5 questions in 5 minutes as a means of making deeper meaningful connections.
It's day 3 of our special week-long "5 in 5" daily segment! In this episode, Amy interviews the Barnabas of WCT, WCT's daughter of encouragement, @jessicaebersole. Jessica is a bright light to the WCT community.  She often gives Starbucks gift cards and is known to deliver encouraging scripture to our DMs. We are super thankful for Jessica and her huge heart to give and love everyone so well. Make sure to follow Jessica on Twitter. Our "5 in 5" series is where one of our hosts spends 5 minutes asking various #WCT peeps 5 questions in 5 minutes as a means of making deeper meaningful connections.

We are declaring this week, The Week of Encouragement!  To celebrate and do just that we are releasing one of our new "5 in 5" episodes every day this week at 3 PM EST.  What better way to kick this off than a "5 in 5" with one of WCT's Queens of encouragement...@justamyzing.  In this episode Andrew interviews the kind and wonderful @Justamyzing. Make sure to follow Amy on Twitter.   Our "5 in 5" series is where one of our hosts spends 5 minutes asking various #WCT peeps 5 questions in 5 minutes as a means of making deeper meaningful connections.
In this episode, Erin Harding @erinmharding hangs out with us as we talk about the WCT community.  Erin shares her love for this weird online Christian community and if you stay till the end you might hear her share one of her infamous DRAFT tweets.  @jarransainsburry tackles the big question "What is WCT?" in an all-new The Dividing Wine segment.   If you haven't blocked her yet make sure to follow Erin on Twitter.   You can help support the Harding's adoption fund here:  https://gofund.me/6ce07baa
In this episode, we kick off the 2021 year with the first episode of season 2.  Over the holiday break, many WCT tweeters called in and left us a message to be included in this episode.  Something encouraging or funny to be shared with everyone. We hope you will enjoy this episode and be encouraged by the breadth of the WCT community.  Because in this single, less than 25-minute episode, you will hear contributors from the US, UK, Ireland, South Africa, France, and of course Florida.  The beauty of the WCT community is on full display and we are thankful for all the many friendships built over the past year.  In addition to this episode being a community project, we introduce our new co-hosts, album artwork, and we announce a new contest.  So, musicians and/or those who like to edit and produce content make sure you listen all the way to the end as we have a special announcement for you!   Our hope for this episode is that you will see the goal of this past year's project on full display and that is to amplify smaller voices within Christian Twitter and further develop the friendships that have come out of this weird ecumenical space during a global pandemic.  Happy New Year!  The messages in this episode  are provided by the following Twitter users and in order as the message appears in this episode: @_EdenL, @BeckyLMcCoy, @Crosby_Katie, @Daibh_Mac, @Deur, @Devon_NotDevin, @EanHammond, @EmiLBrunner1, @ErinMHarding, @Jaime_Coy, @JamiesonLT2, @JordanLongwind, @JustAmyZing, @KelleyTowe, @KirkMcCall68, @realloveiskind, @SarahLiz2018, @SBlakeEdwards34, @Shemomjojo, @TheChrisCreech, @ToddHarding_17 Podcast Hosts: @AmyEBurdett1 @jfinchface @andrew_novell
In this our first episode as the Sheep Pen (Former WCT The Podcast) we sit down with Jules Woodson and Emily Snook where we talk about the SBC mess. Jules speaks from a survivors perspective and Emily helps us understand SBC polity.
He's pretentious and pompous with a mordant sense of humor.  Yet, we all have grown to love his grandiose facade. This is the Dividing Wine Christmas special with your host @jarransainsbury  Merry Christmas WCT!
Hi guyyyyyyyyyyyys! It's WCT's favorite Fleeter, @AmyEBurdett1, bringing us that deadpan British humor with a new quick segment called: *Tweet's of the week!  Give it a listen and while you are here check out our conversations with various WCT tweeters in our past episodes.   *Twitter Twat Takes seemed a bit too much.   --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/weirdchristiantwitter/message
Episode 3 is here!  It took 2 months to drop but it's here.  It's a Thanksgiving Day Miracle!  The African angels Paula summed up have delivered.  Thanks Paula.  Oh, and by the way, it did not take that long to produce.  We just took our sweet time.  Not really, apparently running a free podcast against life in a pandemic can be challenging.  Who knew... On this third episode of Weird Christian Twitter - The Podcast we are still wasting your time with a brand new segment called "The Dividing Wine" with the one and only Jarran Sainsbury (@JarranSainsbury). However, if you fast forward through that mess of a segment you can get to the good stuff of this episode as we hang out and chat with Pastor Trey Ferguson (@PastorTrey05.) We believe you will be encouraged and bless by what Trey has to say and the conversation that occurs in this episode.   Make sure to follow Trey on Twitter!  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/weirdchristiantwitter/message
It's a special short WCT episode as we return with 'It's A Pun Off' a rematch between @haasitive (Tianna Haas) and @RaleighSadler (Raleigh Sadler) Who will be crowned the first Weird Christian Twitter Pun Off victor? There is a bit of squabble and controversary but only one winner is declared. Listen to find out who.   --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/weirdchristiantwitter/message
On this second episode of Weird Christian Twitter - The Podcast we try to be better about wasting everyone's time but in the end, it's still probably going to happen. Except for our interview segment with the amazing Amy Farrer from the UK.  We have a great time learning from her weird Christian Twitter experiences and what it's like being on the outside looking in on a mostly American space.  We ask Amy questions, have a great encouraging discussion, and an all-around good time.  Afterwards is WTC-The Podcast's very first Pun-Off with Tianna Haas and Raleigh Sadler.  Follow Amy: @AMY_BF_1982 Follow Tianna: @haasitive Follow Raleigh: @RaleighSadler --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/weirdchristiantwitter/message
