Steven and guest host Andres interviewed Anthony at the National Stuttering Association (NSA) Conference in St. Louis, Missouri. Anthony is a lifelong person who stutters and 30-year member of the NSA. As a cytotechnologist and co-founder of the AI Rights Collective, he is passionate about both the field of Cytology and the ethical treatment of AI. Salil is a System Performance Engineer at T-Mobile. He currently lives in Urbana Champaign, IL. His work related Interests include wireless telecommunication and data analytics. Salil did his bachelors in Electronics and Communications Engineering at Anna University, India and did his Master’s in Electrical Engineering at the University of Florida. He has 8 years of work experience in the telecom industry.  Salil loves aviation and spends his weekends playing flight simulators. The Beechcraft King Air B200 is his favorite airplane to fly. He enjoy playing the guitar and is an avid listener of rock music from the 80s and 90s. He also developed an interesting in reading (both fiction and non-fiction alike) and is also learning to mountain bike in his spare time.

Chao was born and raised in China. He came to the US for his graduate degree after college. He was an active member of NSA San Jose Chapter. He recently joined the "Stammer Talk" team to improve the lives of people who stutter in China, let people look at stuttering in a correct and scientific way. Jia was born and raised in China. She has been a language teacher (English and Mandarin Chinese) who has taught in China, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Jia’s passion for helping others to communicate over the last 10 years has led her to become open about her own experience of stuttering in various cultures. Jia is an active member of NSA and has served as the central north regional chapter coordinator. She is a former host for Stutter Social. Jia is also a founder of a Chinese stutter podcast "Stammer Talk" and hosts online support sessions for the Chinese stuttering community. Nathias "Notorious" Frederick is a Pro MMA fighter and current Cage Warriors Middleweight Champion fighting out of England. He is a person who stutters and has autism. For numerous years Marvin Wiley Jr. had struggled with his stutter, which led him to avoid social interactions.  At the age of 23, he birthed a belief that he could work towards developing himself into a more confident speaker, inspired from his experience in a public speaking course he took in college in 2013.  Marvin currently serves as the Conductor of Stutter Block Party, a newly formed monthly event that brings together people who stutter and SLP's to play games, converse, and connect.  Marvin has been a Toastmaster ever since passing the public speaking course and has discovered how to stop his stutter from dictating the course of his life;  thriving among the support surrounding him.  He now strives to share with others what he has learned along his journey with the goal of encouraging others to take action against their fears so they can get the most out of life. Some of Marvin’s passions include videography and playing golf.
