In this episode, I talk with Dr. Gail McLeod about her extraordinary path as a healer, experiencer, and author; as we dive deep into her books How I Learned to Fly a Spaceship and How I Met an Alien. We explore the themes that run through her writing, including her memories of working with extraterrestrials, learning to operate a spacecraft, participating in interdimensional medical missions, and navigating the emotional, moral, and spiritual weight of those experiences. We also talk in depth about her account of working on Ashtar Medical 1, her role within the Arcturian Hybrid program, and how she was selected as an interplanetary liaison on behalf of the Galactic Federation. Her first book presents these encounters as a blend of personal testimony and cosmic adventure, while the second expands further into the broader framework behind the beings, missions, and contact events she says have defined her life. We also discuss what it means to live between worlds, how these experiences have shaped her understanding of healing and service, and why she believes more people are beginning to awaken to their own galactic connections.Along the way, we talk about what it means to be a bridge between the seen and unseen, why so many people are still afraid to speak openly about ET experiences, and how Dr. Gail has made it part of her mission to create a safe space for people to explore, validate, and heal through these encounters. We also touch on her work as a psychic medium, her healing perspective, her teachings and transmissions, and the larger galactic context she believes humanity is stepping into. This is a fascinating conversation about contact, remembrance, cosmic identity, and the mysteries waiting just beyond the edges of accepted reality. In this episode, I talk with psychic, medium, and medical intuitive Julie Ryan - to explore the extraordinary range of her work and the spiritual framework behind it. Julie describes her abilities as a “Buffet of Psychicness,” a phrase that captures the wide scope of what she does - from medical scanning and energetic healing to communicating with spirits, accessing past lives, scanning animals, and sensing the transition process around death. She explains that her abilities span communication with spirits both alive and dead, seeing energy fields, facilitating healings, and working remotely across time and space, all of which gives her work a truly multidimensional quality. We talk about how she developed and refined these abilities through decades of experience and training, and how she now teaches others to access similar intuitive capacities for themselves. In our conversation, Julie shares how people can connect through what she calls the plasma field, how that connection can happen in a nanosecond, and how intuitive communication with spirit doesn’t have to be rare or mysterious - it can be direct, immediate, and learnable. We also discuss how to connect with your guardian angel, how angelic communication may be much more accessible than most people realize, and how spiritual guidance can come through almost automatically Julie then shares her version of medical intuition, the techniques behind it, and the deeper philosophy that supports her work with spirit, healing, and expanded consciousness. This is a wide-ranging conversation about energy, intuition, angels, spirit contact, and the invisible architecture of reality, and about how these abilities may be far more available to all of us than we’ve been taught to believe. In this episode of Midnight, On Earth, I sit down with bestselling British author and historical investigator Graham Phillips to explore his latest book, 'The Original Zodiac: What Ancient Astrology Reveals About You'. Our conversation dives deep into a forgotten chapter of astrological history - The discovery of the earliest known zodiac system, which contained eighteen signs rather than the twelve most people are familiar with today.Phillips explains how the roots of astrology stretch back to ancient Mesopotamia, emerging from the same mysterious cultural horizon that produced monumental sites like Göbekli Tepe. In those early systems, astrology appears to have functioned through generations of observation, almost like a form of reverse engineering. Instead of starting with a rigid symbolic framework, early astrologers observed patterns in human behavior, personality traits, and life outcomes, then connected those traits back to the time, place, and conditions of a person’s birth. Over centuries, these observations became encoded into symbolic archetypes that eventually formed the earliest zodiac signs. At the center of Phillips’ research is a mysterious clay tablet held in the British Museum, cataloged as BM 86378. The artifact lists an ancient zodiac system composed of eighteen constellations, many of which are completely absent from the modern Western and Vedic zodiacs. Instead of only the familiar signs, this earlier sky map included figures such as the Serpent, Swan, Crane, Horse, Wolf, and Eagle—symbols that suggest a very different way of interpreting cosmic influence and human identity.Because the tablet preserved the names of the constellations but not their meanings, Phillips attempted to reconstruct the psychological and behavioral traits associated with each sign. Through an extensive survey of hundreds of volunteers from different backgrounds, he analyzed patterns in personality, interests, occupations, habits, and even health tendencies. From this data, he began to piece together what the original zodiac may have signified thousands of years ago.During our conversation we explore how this eighteen-sign system offers an expanded lens through which to view astrology - not as a replacement for the familiar twelve-sign zodiac, but as a deeper layer of symbolic understanding. Phillips explains how the ancient framework may enrich our interpretation of personality, relationships, and destiny by adding additional archetypes that were gradually lost as astrology evolved through later Greek, and Vedic traditions. We also discuss the broader historical mystery surrounding the origins of astrology itself, the possibility that these systems emerged from extremely ancient sky-watching cultures, and how early civilizations attempted to map human experience onto the movements of the heavens. Along the way we touch on archaeology, myth, ancient symbolism, and the enduring human quest to understand who we are and how the cosmos might shape our lives. It’s a wide-ranging exploration of forgotten astrology, ancient civilizations, and the archetypal patterns that have guided human thinking about the stars for thousands of years. In this episode, I sit down with researcher, writer, and longtime esoteric insider... Ronnie Pontiac. We explore his latest book, 'The Rosicrucian Counterculture: The Origins and Influence of the Invisible Society'. We journey into the hidden current of Rosicrucianism flowing through the early modern world, examining how this mysterious “invisible society” shaped the lives and ideas of figures like John Dee, Robert Fludd, René Descartes, Elias Ashmole, and many others. Ronnie reveals how the esoteric court of Rudolf II became a crucible for magic, science, and prophecy, and how the ambitions of Frederick and Elizabeth helped spark the Thirty Years’ War through a strange fusion of politics and occult vision. He also discusses how the Rosicrucians can be seen as the original counterculture, rooted in the Orphic traditions of ancient Greece and influencing generations of seekers, mystics, and visionaries ever since. As the episode continues, we explore the roots of the many expressions of the Rosicrucian energy, throughout various forms and times. We also dive into Ronnie’s personal experiences studying with Manly P. Hall, including some remarkable insights he received about what he calls the Rosicrucian frequency and how these teachings operate as a living stream of consciousness rather than just a historical movement. Ronnie makes the case that Rosicrucianism was not merely a secret society but a transformative worldview that helped catalyze the shift from medieval consciousness into the modern age. From there, we explore how these underground ideas continue to echo today, shaping modern occult revivalism, pop culture symbolism, and even the psychedelic counterculture’s ongoing quest for hidden knowledge and inner transformation. Drawing on his years working alongside Manly P. Hall, Ronnie offers a rare insider perspective on the enduring legacy of esoteric philosophy and the provocative question of whether invisible societies still help guide the evolution of human consciousness from behind the veil.Ronnie Pontiac Bio:Ronnie Pontiac worked as Manly P. Hall’s research assistant, screener, and designated substitute lecturer for seven years. He has produced award-winning documentaries, and has written for Invisible College Magazine, Newtopia, Metapsychosis, Occult of Personality, and the original Reality Sandwich. In addition, he plays guitar for the experimental rock band Lucid Nation. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
In this episode, Crystal Cassidy and I listen to a rare lecture from the legendary Alan Watts titled, - 'Why Nothing Is More Powerful Than Something'. In this talk, Watts explores the paradox at the heart of Eastern philosophy: that what appears to be “nothing” is not mere absence, but the generative space from which all form, awareness, and experience arise. Drawing on Zen and Taoist insights, he reframes emptiness as pure potential, the silent condition that makes sound, movement, and existence itself possible.Crystal Cassidy, host of the Soulpod podcast and creator of the Soulpod app, joins me as co-host, bringing a grounded perspective shaped by her work in emotional awareness and practical spiritual integration. We listen to the lecture in real time, taking notes as Watts unfolds his reflections on emptiness, identity, and the deeper rhythm between being and non-being.After the lecture, we discuss how Watts presents nothingness not as indiffrence, but as the fertile field that allows creativity, perception, and consciousness to emerge. His insights challenge our attachment to fixed identity, constant doing, and the impulse to fill every space with meaning or activity. We reflect on how embracing spaciousness can dissolve rigid self-concepts, how creative potential arises from openness, and how learning to trust the void can shift the way we relate to fear, control, and the unfolding of life. The episode becomes a contemplative dialogue on presence, paradox, and the quiet power hidden within what first appears to be nothing at all.www.soulpodapp.comAlan Watts Bio:Alan Watts was an incredible philosopher and speaker who had a unique way of exploring Eastern philosophy and spirituality. His captivating lectures and books have inspired countless people around the world.Alan Watts was born in England in 1915 and developed a deep interest in Eastern philosophy from a young age. He studied Buddhism, Taoism, and Hinduism, and became a renowned interpreter of these philosophies for Western audiences. His ability to bridge the gap between Eastern and Western thought made him a popular figure in the counterculture movement of the 1960s.One of the central themes in Watts' teachings was the concept of "the self." He explored the idea that our sense of self is an illusion, and that we are all interconnected with the universe. He encouraged people to embrace the present moment and find joy in the simple act of being alive.Watts had a way of delivering profound insights with a sense of humor and playfulness. He believed that life should be approached with a sense of wonder and curiosity, and that we should not take ourselves too seriously. His lectures often included anecdotes, stories, and metaphors that helped illustrate his points in an engaging and relatable way.In addition to his lectures, Watts wrote numerous books on topics such as Zen Buddhism, Taoism, and the nature of consciousness. Some of his most well-known works include "The Wisdom of Insecurity," "The Book: On the Taboo Against Knowing Who You Are," and "The Way of Zen."Alan Watts passed away in 1973, but his teachings continue to resonate with people today. His ability to distill complex philosophical concepts into accessible and relatable ideas has made him a beloved figure in the world of spirituality and philosophy. Hosted on Acast. In this episode, I’m joined once again by Dr. Amy Albright, founder of the Holon Experience, for a deep dive into the frontiers of human consciousness, neuroscience, and what it really means to evolve as a species. We explore how human experience exists in a neurological space that is both pre-biochemical and post-biochemical- how our perceptions, reactions, and sense of self aren’t just chemical events, but emerge from deeper informational and energetic processes within the brain and nervous system. Amy shares how the Holon Experience is pushing the edge of modern neuroscience by engaging the brain beyond traditional stimulus-response models, opening doorways into states of awareness that science has struggled to map using purely physical language. Our conversation moves into the long-standing challenge science faces when trying to understand the human brain through the lens of the nonphysical - consciousness, meaning, intuition, and inner experience. We talk about the difference between mind and body consciousness, and how integrating these layers isn’t just theoretical, but profoundly transformational. Amy also shares updates on the latest advancements in Holon Experience technology, and how understanding how our brains actually function, not just anatomically, but experientially, can unlock higher levels of creativity, coherence, healing, and human potential. When we stop treating the brain as a machine and begin relating to it as a dynamic, responsive field, everything changes. We also talk about the realization that we are not isolated minds in separate bodies, but holographically connected expressions of a much larger whole. Each of us carrying the pattern of the all within us, reflected through our nervous systems, our awareness, and our capacity to remember who we truly are. This is one of those conversations that doesn’t just give you ideas - it gives you a felt sense of what’s possible. In this episode, I talk with Daniel Bourke, author of Telepathic Tales: Precognition and Clairvoyance in Legend, Lyric, and Lore, about the deep and often overlooked thread of extrasensory perception that runs through human history. Our conversation moves across cultures, myths, and lived experience, revealing how telepathy, precognition, and clairvoyance aren’t fringe anomalies but recurring features of the human story. From ancient legends and Indigenous traditions to poets, mystics, and modern thinkers, we explore why these experiences are woven into the fabric of reality in an almost archetypal way..We dive into the phenomenon of crisis apparitions and how moments of shock, danger, or emotional intensity can open unexpected channels of perception. Daniel shares insight into how we may be connected as inherently telepathic beings, linked not just psychologically but through an unseen relational field that extends beyond the body. We talk about how ESP shows up in every major religion, often reframed as prophecy, revelation, divine guidance, or mystical knowing, and why these experiences were once honored rather than dismissed. Our discussion also moves into dreaming and the future-facing nature of consciousness. We explore why people so often dream events before they happen, how many cultures understood dreams as a form of guidance or intelligence, and the idea that each of us may have a companion spirit or extended version of ourselves operating in an outer field of awareness. Daniel explains how Indigenous cultures used sophisticated dream practices to make communal decisions, navigate danger, and stay aligned with the living world. We also talk about how DMT, when released during sleep, might be the catalyst for inter dimensional communication.Throughout the conversation, we return again and again to the idea that telepathic and psychic experiences are not rare at all, but quietly woven into everyday life, myth, memory, and intuition. Lisa has spent decades helping people understand their intuitive abilities in a practical, embodied way, and our conversation moves deep into what it actually takes to work with energy consciously while staying grounded in everyday life.We explore how developing psychic abilities is closely tied to learning how to shift brainwave states at will; moving between focused awareness and expanded perception without losing balance or clarity. Lisa explains why grounding and clearing practices are foundational for anyone doing intuitive or energy work, especially empaths, and how learning to manage your energetic field helps you stay present rather than overwhelmed. We also talk about recognizing and navigating energy vampires, and how healthy energetic boundaries are an act of self-respect rather than withdrawal.Lisa shares insights from her decades of hands-on experience, including her work with what she calls Quantum Lightwave Healing Technology; a method that works with light, frequency, and consciousness to help release deeply held energetic patterns. We talk about how healing through energy work can unfold when people reconnect with their intuition, clear old imprints, and allow their nervous system and energy body to reorganize naturally.Toward the end of the conversation, we widen the lens into galactic consciousness, collective awakening, and the idea of the new earth as a frequency of love amplified; a shift in how humans relate to each other, to the planet, and to consciousness itself. In this episode, I’m joined by Debbi Dachinger, award-winning host of the Dare to Dream podcast, shamanic practitioner, healer, author, and so much more. Debbi’s path has woven together journalism, indigenous shamanic traditions, energy medicine, and direct inquiry into humanity’s relationship with non-human intelligence, making her a uniquely grounded voice in conversations about the unseen and the cosmic. We begin with Debbi’s personal life story and the experiences that shaped her path, including how she was chosen and trained within shamanic lineages and how those initiations opened her awareness to multidimensional realities. She shares how her calling unfolded organically through service, healing work, and a deep remembering of who she is beyond this lifetime. From there, our conversation expands into what it means to connect with your galactic family as an embodied remembrance that many people are quietly awakening to right now.A theme of our discussion is the idea that before incarnating, many of us entered into agreements — conscious soul contracts — to be here at this time as lightworkers, wayshowers, and catalysts for planetary transformation. Debbi offers insight into how these agreements reveal themselves through intuition, synchronicity, and a persistent sense of mission. We explore how shamanic wisdom intersects with galactic consciousness, how ancient Earth traditions have always understood humanity as part of a much larger cosmic family, and why so many people feel a growing urgency to remember why they came here.We also dive deeply into the meaning of the starseed mission itself — what it actually represents beyond labels, why some souls feel out of place in this world yet deeply committed to helping it evolve, and how remembering that mission can realign your life with purpose, compassion, and clarity. An incredible episode! In this episode, Brynn Anderson and I listen together to a rare lecture from the legend Manly P. Hall, recorded on December 22, 1985, before a live audience in Los Angeles, as a way of consciously opening a new year. In this lecture, Hall uses the turning of the season as a metaphor for the rebirth of light and life within each of us, emphasizing that every new year presents the same quiet invitation: to realign. He speaks of happiness not as something to pursue, but as a natural byproduct of alignment; when thought, action, and inner purpose come into harmony with universal law. Rather than urging external change, Hall points toward inner maturity as the true foundation for renewal.A central theme of the talk is light itself. Hall describes the sun as both a macrocosmic source of life and a microcosmic symbol of the illumination each person carries within. To "act as the light within" he suggests, is to live in a way that naturally expresses clarity, balance, and understanding. Over the course of his lifetime, Hall returned again and again to this idea: that personal growth and inner responsibility are not only spiritual ideals, but the real solution to our collective challenges. As we listen, Brynn and I take notes, and we reconven after to reflect on what we have learned.. This episode offers a different kind of New Year opening - one grounded in awareness rather than urgency, and rooted in the understanding that lasting change begins with alignment, as we step forward carrying the light we’ve cultivated within.www.prs.orgManly P. Hall Bio:Manly Palmer Hall (March 18, 1901 – August 29, 1990) was a renowned philosopher, author, and mystic who delved deeply into esoteric traditions and spiritual knowledge. Born in Peterborough, Ontario, Hall moved to the United States at a young age and soon became a prominent lecturer on occult and metaphysical topics. His curiosity and passion for ancient wisdom culminated in the publication of *The Secret Teachings of All Ages* in 1928, Over his lifetime, he authored more than 150 books and delivered over 8,000 lectures. His teachings spanned subjects such as Hermeticism, Rosicrucianism, astrology, comparative religion, and the symbolism found in sacred texts. In 1934, Hall founded the Philosophical Research Society (PRS) in Los Angeles, a center dedicated to the study of philosophy, comparative religion, and personal development. The PRS continues to preserve his vast collection of manuscripts and teachings.Hall's work has had a lasting impact on those seeking spiritual growth, often serving as a bridge between modern spiritual seekers and ancient wisdom traditions. Despite passing away in 1990 under mysterious circumstances, Hall's influence remains significant among students of esoteric and philosophical studies. Hosted on Acast. In this episode, I talk with Gary Lachman, author, cultural historian, and founding member of Blondie. Gary is widely regarded as one of the most prolific contemporary writers on Western esotericism, consciousness, and the hidden currents shaping culture. Our conversation centers on his most recent book, 'Touched by the Presence: From Blondie’s Bowery and Rock and Roll to Magic and the Occult', his second autobiography and a deeply personal account of his spiritual development. The book traces his journey from the New York punk scene into a lifelong engagement with mysticism, synchronicity, and the inner life, exploring how moments of contact with something beyond the ordinary can quietly redirect an entire existence. We talk about Gary’s early influences and how classic comic books, science fiction, and music helped form an imaginative framework that later opened naturally into esoteric study. We then talk about his journey of unfoldment, as his life story seems to intertwine with the growing counter culture of 70's and beyond. We continue into how those experiences, including meeting Debbie Harry, shaped his world view and led him into to becoming one of the most prolific writers in esoterica.. He reflects on the shamanic and transformative power of music, including the unique cultural and spiritual field surrounding the Grateful Dead, and how sound itself can function as a vehicle for altered states and collective meaning.Gary also shares insights from his brief time connected with the O.T.O., the realities many seekers encounter when entering formal occult structures, and his broader reflections on how human beings intuit, dream, and sometimes prefigure the future before it fully arrives. This episode is a thoughtful exploration of art, music, memory, mysticism, and so much more.. In this episode, I’m joined by money consciousness coach and author Sarah McCrum, to explore a fundamentally different understanding of money and how it operates in our lives. We focus on her new book, 'Love Money, Money Loves You' which invites readers to move beyond fear and scarcity and into a relationship with money that aligns with their true values.Sarah explains how most people carry unconscious stress and anxiety around money, and how that hidden tension shapes business decisions, family dynamics, and our overall impact in the world. Drawing on more than twenty years of studying life energy, she shares how her work began when she asked a simple but unusual question: what does money want to say? The insights that followed became a direct exploration of money as an energetic force, offering clear, practical guidance from the perspective of money itself. We discuss what money really is, how it actually works beneath the surface of the physical world, and why relaxing your relationship with it can restore flow, generosity, and balance. Sarah also talks about her work transforming the lives of over twenty thousand business owners and their families, helping them combine financial success with wellbeing, clarity, and ease.We also explore Sarah’s concept of a “vibrational bank account,” the idea that your emotional state, beliefs, and level of presence create an energetic balance that directly influences how money flows in your life. Rather than focusing solely on numbers, strategies, or effort, she explains how alignment, trust, and coherence build real wealth at the energetic level first, with financial results following naturally. This perspective reframes abundance as something you cultivate from the inside out, moment by moment. In this episode, I speak with author and practicing magician Toby Chappell, about his new book -- The Languages of Magic: Transform Reality through Words, Magical Symbols, and Sigils. This amazing book breaks down the understand that magic isn’t a mystery locked behind ritual, it’s a form of communication. It’s a living conversation between the practitioner and the unmanifest, where meaning becomes the engine of transformation and reality itself becomes a responsive partner.Toby brings together linguistics, semiotics, and decades of magical experience to reveal how words and symbols don’t just represent ideas, they move energy. They rewire perception. They speak directly to the structures behind the world we see. Our conversation moves through the various ancient and the modalities of magic and how their language structure effects the results of the practice... Toby explains how this communicative view of magic appears in Hermeticism and the Greek magical papyri, in Enochian language-work, in rune lore, and in the symbol-crafting at the heart of sigil magic. What emerges is a powerful new lens -- that magic works because it is meaning in motion; an ongoing exchange between the magician and the fabric of reality itself. Toby talks about how to apply principles of effective communication to your own workings, how symbols are constructed and empowered, and how understanding the linguistic structure of magic can dramatically increase the reliability and precision of your results. It’s a rich, mind-expanding conversation with one of the most articulate voices working at the crossroads of language and occult practice today... An incredible journey wondered why magic works - not philosophically, but mechanically - and how to communicate more clearly with the forces that shape your life… Drop In!www.semiurgist.comToby Chappell Bio:Toby Chappell is a musician, writer, and lecturer on the intersection of language and magic. In this episode, I talk with Jaime Paul Lamb, an author and esoteric researcher whose work sits at the crossroads of astrology, ceremonial magic, and occult history. Jaime joins me to explore his newest book, The Astrological Goetia: The 72 Keys to Angelic and Demonic Astrology, a text that dives deep into the hidden architecture of the zodiac and the spirits that inhabit its degrees. As Jaime explains, this system weaves together zodiacal divination, Qabalistic cosmology, and Solomonic demonology into a unified magical framework. Each 5-degree segment of the zodiac, the quinaries, are mapped to a pair of entities: one of the 72 angels of the Shem HaMephorash from the medieval Sefer Raziel, and its corresponding spirit from the 72 demons of the Ars Goetia. Six of these angel-demon pairings live within every astrological sign, forming a subtle energetic matrix that shapes personality, experience, and fate. Our conversation travels through the origins of these correspondences, and the ways this system can expand a practitioner’s understanding of both astrology and ritual magic. We talk about what these daimons actually are, how they have been utilized throughout history, and how they may be being used in the 21st century.. An incredible episode!
