🔥 From Wrath to Wonder: Fire From Heaven 🔥What if the “fire from heaven” we’ve always feared… was never about destruction, but restoration? In this session, we move from Sodom to Elijah to Jesus — and discover how the same fire that once seemed to burn in anger is revealed through Christ as the purifying flame of love. When the disciples wanted to call down fire on their enemies, Jesus didn’t just say “no.” He redefined what the fire is for.🔥 The fire of God doesn’t destroy people — it burns away everything that hides His mercy.Join me for this powerful teaching from the From Wrath to Wonder series. Let’s reimagine divine fire through the lens of Jesus — where judgment meets mercy, and wrath gives way to wonder.#FromWrathToWonder #HolyGroundEverywhere #JesusRevealed #PurifyingLove #TheFireOfMercy #BiggerGospel
The story of Jonah is usually taught as proof that God’s patience has limits — that when people cross the line, judgment is inevitable. But a closer look reveals something radically different. Jonah wasn’t running from an angry God… he was running from a merciful one.In this episode, we unpack how the Jonah narrative reframes divine “wrath” altogether:Jonah wanted destruction — God wanted transformationThe word “overthrown” can mean ruined or redeemedNineveh becomes a picture of mercy, not massacreJesus Himself points back to Nineveh as a witness against our fear of graceThis teaching is Part Two in the From Wrath to Wonder series, exploring how the Gospel shifts us from seeing God as a threat to seeing Him as relentless love. If you’ve ever wrestled with the angry-God narratives in Scripture, this conversation will break something open in you.Listen in — and maybe you’ll never read Jonah the same way again.
From Wrath To Wonder: Finding Jesus In The Hard Stories Of Scripture - Part OneIn this opening message of From Wrath to Wonder, Dr. Matthew Hester takes us to Mount Sinai—the mountain wrapped in smoke, fire, and thunder—where Israel first trembled before the presence of God. For generations, this story has been used to paint God as angry, distant, and dangerous. But what if even in the thunder and fire, the Father was revealing His desire for closeness, not separation?
(Message from 9/21/25)In a world filled with death, assassination, violence, and cancel culture, how do we process current events in light of the gospel? In this sermon, Dr. Matthew Hester unpacks how to live in the tension of chaos and still walk in the confidence of Christ.Give: https//dominionchurch.net/giveText "GIVE" to (854)888-6590Mail donation to: PO BOX 567, Greer SC 29652
A New Kind Of Love...

A New Kind Of Love...

Sunday Message from 8/31/25 Enjoy this message from Roy Rhoades as he takes you on a journey through the power of Agape love and practical ways to walk it out everyday.
Sunday Message from 8/17/25The Gospel is an announcement, not an invention. It’s not something we made up; it’s something God has done. The angels don’t hand out instructions. They don’t say, “Here’s what you must do to earn God’s love.” They announce news: Christ is born. The Savior has come. That’s the Gospel: an announcement of what God has already accomplished in Christ.
Through this series we have journeyed through Scripture, the Church Fathers, philosophy, science, art, music, and film — all to arrive at one central truth: God is not far off. Christ saturates everything. The earth is crammed with heaven, and everywhere we tread is holy ground.
God Is Trustworthy

God Is Trustworthy

Trust doesn’t always come easily — especially when life feels uncertain, when prayers seem unanswered, and when we feel small against the mystery of the universe. And yet, here is the heart of the gospel we have learned together: The God we trust has made Himself known in Jesus Christ. In Christ, we see a God who does not play hide and seek with our hearts, a God who is not capricious or manipulative — but a God who comes close, a God who suffers with us, a God who shares our humanity so that we might share His life.
Celebrating 40 years of Dominion Church was nothing short of sacred. We were deeply honored to have Bishop Jamie Englehart with us—his wisdom, friendship, and prophetic voice marked the moment with heaven’s clarity and grace.Being surrounded by lifelong friends and family, some of whom have walked this journey since the beginning, was a beautiful reminder that legacy isn’t built overnight—it’s forged in faithfulness, love, and community. As we stood together, worshiping and remembering all God has done, one thing became clear: We’re not just reaping a harvest—we’re stepping boldly into our inheritance. Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us. The best is not behind us… it’s unfolding right now.
Movies are modern-day parables. They tell the stories of love, sacrifice, betrayal, redemption. And if we’re paying attention—if we listen with theological ears—we can hear the whisper of the gospel in places we least expect it.
We often think of "holy ground" as a rare, sacred location—somewhere special, set apart, drenched in reverence. But what if holy ground isn’t about the place itself… what if it’s about Presence? When Moses encountered the burning bush, God told him, “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground” (Exodus 3:5). But here’s the catch: it wasn’t a temple. It wasn’t a tabernacle. It was the middle of the desert—ordinary dirt transformed by the presence of God.

Spiritual warfare is not first and foremost a cosmic boxing match between two nearly equal forces. It is the ongoing struggle to align our hearts, minds, and lives with the truth of who God is—perfectly revealed in Jesus—and who we are in Him. It is not a war for victory, but from the victory already secured in Christ.
In this final session of the series, The Solution For Sin, Dr. Hester takes a look at the profound work if the Incarnation and the supreme role this eternal event played in destroying sin once and for all!
Dr. Matthew Hester continues a new series called The Solution For Sin. Despite the title, it's not a series about sin, but rather about how God dealt with the problem of sin once and for all. Get ready to have your pre-conceived ideas of sin challenged!

This was a rich time with Pastors Matthew & Megan Hester and Pastors Rudi and Carmen Louw. We had a great discussion and took questions during our time together. So good!
We were thrilled to have Randall Worley with us to share what was on his heart. He brought a word challenging us to walk in the reality if the Kingdom in the face of fear and gloat panic. It's a timely word!
The Lord has prepared a place for you. As soon as we accept where the place is and the way to get to that place, we will have joy and fulfillment to a degree that we never have before. Unfortunately, religion has painted these passages of Scripture to be treated as a future event for all saints. These words from the mouth of Jesus were never meant to be placed into the future, but they are meant to be enjoyed now!  www.dominionchurch.net
Jesus was expressing the truth (Luke 7:47), those who know and believe how much God truly loves them and has forgiven them, they will end up loving Him very much! Those who have little understanding of His love and forgiveness will love little. This is why it is imperative as new covenant believers that we focus on how much God loves us instead of how much we love God. If you truly receive and believe how much God loves you and has forgiven you of all your sins, you will end up loving God greatly - he who is forgiven much, loves much!
