Welcome to the Walking Out Your Purpose Podcast. If you are new I am so glad you're here. Please stick around, like, comment and subscribe. The purpose squad loves learning, growing and sharing over here. For my faithful purpose fam returning to the show, welcome back. I so appreciate your support. Together we are going to walk in our purpose and leave an indelible mark on this earth. I just know it! Today you are in for a treat. On today's episode, we are going deep into discovering our life's purpose with these five key questions: 1. Who are you? 2. What do you do? 3. Who do you do it for?  4. What do these people want and need? 5. How do they change as a result of you?  I know some of these questions may look basic but nah! They will take some time to answer truthfully and holistically and it starts with a self-audit...you have to spend some time with yourself.  We are putting in the work in this episode. It is inspired by a recent Tedx talk I listened to and a book I'm reading by Carla Harris called "Expect to Win". As we get in tune with who we really are, we become more confident, courageous and able to contribute at our best. Doesn't that sound good??!! Yes...I know it does. We all want our lives to matter and we want to add value. So listen in and let me know your thoughts below. Feel free to share in the comments your answers to the questions. I'd love to hear from you.  I hope you enjoy the episode.  Please like, comment, share, subscribe and follow the podcast on all platforms.  Remember we are all here for a reason and as long as we're breathing, God has something for us to do. Let's redeem the time on purpose with purpose! Love y'all! Be blessed ❤️  https://linktr.ee/walkingoutyourpurpose  #purpose #authenticity #mylifemattered #walkinyourpurpose

Tune in on this special day as we commemorate and celebrate the life of an icon Dr. Martin Luther King Jr who gave his life to the civil rights movement and a fairer world. We also look to the Word of God for inspiration and a blueprint on serving others and why that is important to God. You don't want to miss this. Here are a few of the scriptures and Dr. King quotes shared:  Proverbs 19:17 Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done.  Acts 20:35  In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.  Matthew 5:16  In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.  Hebrews 6:10  God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.  Philippians 2:4 Not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.  Galatians 5:13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh ; rather, serve one another humbly in love.  Matthew 23:11 The greatest among you will be your servant. Matthew 20:28 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”  Romans 12:9-13 9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.  Dr King Quotes:  “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”  “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. The true neighbor will risk his position, his prestige, and even his life for the welfare of others.”  “The time is always right to do what is right.”  “Everyone can be great because everyone can serve”  Here are a few actions for you to take  1. Do a self assessment on your life, are you doing anything for others or only building yourself up?  2. Spring into action - volunteer, join a service organization, get involved in ministry, help a neighbor even if you have to wear your mask…no excuses!  3. Be thankful and grateful to God for what you do have and bless others with your gifts, your talents, your abilities…as I always say..someone needs you and someone is on the other side of your YES.   You are here for a reason. Go walk in your purpose!   Please like, comment, follow, subscribe and share. You can also check out my YT channel here https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGdIqGrPfMHyeYZtX35gRLQ
