From a little girl talking about trees, to playing Clemma Diggins in college, to bit parts at the Lyric, to starring in Brownwood Lyric Theatre's production of Sister Act.  That's a severe simplification of Domonique's life in theatre for sure. This in-depth interview will fill in some blanks and definitely make you fall for this incredible talent.  Waxing Lyrically brings you Domonique Stephens.
If you are fortunate to know Joseph Dennis (aka Seph Ronden) then you know what a kind & giving person he is.  Family is everything to Joe and his equally amazing family all makes cameo appearances here.  If you don't know Joe, this perhaps best encapsulates his spirit. After Alisa Hinton interviewed Joe, he phoned me.  He was concerned that he had not praised his fellow castmates enough. This podcast is sure to pique your interest in Three Musketeers which opens Friday February 11th.
Lyric Board Member Priscilla Monson joins the podcast to reveal your nominees for The Lyric Awards for 2020 & 2021.  Stick around for a dramatic reading preview of one of the Lyric's 2022 shows!  For all Lyric Players:  Be sure to join us for this special night of celebration where winners will be announced, Saturday January 29th at 7:30pm!

Billie Harvey's contributions to the Lyric have been wide ranging, innumerable and indispensable. She and husband Jonathan first appeared in 2007's Fiddler On the Roof where Billie played Fruma Sarah. Since then, she's served as Lighting Director, Set Designer, Technical Director, Director, Chorus and Lead Actress; spanning well over a dozen shows. If there was a Lyric Hall of Fame, Billie would be well on her way to induction!
The set, the costuming and the perfect casting make YCTIWY a "must see" triumph!
I sit down with Jeff inside Teddy's Brewhouse. Beers (and a few tears) flow as we discuss the legacy of his father, his beautiful family, numerous life re-inventions, his love of American history, oh... and a little theatre talk as well.  Jeff is set to perform the role of Grandpa in "You Can't Take It With You" which premiers on the Lyric stage September 24th.
Whether she accepts the term or not, Cassia is a "Lyric legend".   Drama, comedy, lead roles or supporting, she makes everything she's in, better! And unscripted here, listen for Cassia's amazing expressive command of the english language.  Keren Myers hosts.
