The “F*ck Them Kids” trend became popular after Covid restrictions died down. Parents were stuck with their kids 24/7 & we realized…WE NEED SOME ME-TIME. So team FTK was a joke to express the need for self care, mental health awareness & to help us prioritize those things during the pandemic and after. But I think we’ve gotten too comfortable. Shaunciologist join me as I discuss the darker implications of this viral trend, the backlash it has received, and what it says about our culture today.
Rediscovering myself, I realized, that I may be the problem. In this episode, we delve into the complex dynamics of being a middle child, exploring the traits of narcissism, challenges of being unapologetic & for the people, and the essential journey toward seeking therapy. Join me for an insightful discussion that unpacks three strangers opinions that has inspired this episode & the reason for my self-reflection.
In this episode, we delve into Jordan Peele's chilling film "Us," one of my current favorite movies. We'll explore its complex themes and thought-provoking symbolism, unpacking the significance of the Bible verse Jeremiah 11:11, which states, "Therefore thus saith the Lord, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them." Join me as I analyze key scenes, discuss character motivations, and uncover how Peele masterfully blends horror with social commentary. This episode promises an insightful discussion that will leave you questioning the hidden layers and deeper meanings behind "Us." Tune in for a captivating exploration of one of modern cinema's most intriguing films. Posted at 11:11pm.

Dating while healing is hard. It doesn’t make much sense to do both but I needed a little fun, no strings attached, no falling in love. Well at least that’s what I thought. I wasn’t made to be for the streets. I was made for white picket fence, on the porch, with a glass of lemonade under the shade with my forever mate. I had to learn the hard way, I guess. This episode was recorded back in March but it’s an update on my weight loss, loc journey, healing & dating.

Dating is hard as is, so when we find ourselves putting limits on who & what we want our spouse to look like we tend to close the doors to new and maybe better opportunities to find “The One”. & as I listened to my guest speak about her experiences dating outside of her race I’ve found I’ve limited myself for a very long time because of the color of their skin. Is it wrong?? Has it hindered you like it may have done me?? Is it your trauma & experiences that has led you to this decision making?? Or maybe you just like what you like?? Hopefully, this listen will give you an insight on new possibilities or make you comfortable in the choices you make in your spouse is best for the person you are. & there is nothing wrong with that. Just make sure love is the root of it & not the color of their skin.
How important is great sex to a relationship?? As a person begins to date, we tend to learn that sex is another level of intimacy & communication & shouldn’t be shy(d) away from. My guest and I, Akeele & Tyler, are single and mingling in a Millennial & GenZ era!! Listen as these questions get juicy & uncomfortable but most importantly, REAL!! Questions provided by: TonightsConversation: After Dark @shaunciology @amomentwitha @somebodyson
Bringing myself to #Shaunciology!! *in my Jada P-Smith vc* Really hearing myself in all my toxicity was embarrassing but it was Therapeutic. It was important for me to talk about my failed relationship(s) so that I can move on & my listeners can hold me accountable from this day forward. Sometimes the Truth can be ugly but it can set me me free.

Most women were born to be Mothers. Their nurturing spirit that they carry soothes the cry babies, embraces even the toughest child, & mentors the younger generation, all in one. & that’s who Tammy “D’va Prez” does for every soul she touches. She is the woman every Village raising family needs. She doesn’t call herself a Stepmom because her love for each child she encounters is a Mother’s (authentic) Love you feel thru womb to death. Her experience taught me that birthing a child doesn’t make you a Mother. So take a listen & hear what it’s like being a Bonus Mom.
We may not be professionals but we can critique with the best of them. & I fell in love with the show created by Netflix two years ago so I couldn’t wait to catch up on where they are now. Let’s just say the drama was in full effect from beginning to end & I was here for it. So take a listen to Aaron, Shooting the Breeze with A, Taroy, the Average Joe, & I give our take on the drama unfolded. It’s funny, relatable, & we don’t hold back!! & ofc spoilers because you should have watched it before listening.
