The CyBUr Guy Podcast returns for 2024 with Retired FBI Special Agent, Author, and Speaker, Scott Augenbuam. We celebrate the 5th anniversary of his best-seller "The Secrets to Cybersecurity" and talk about why the principles in his book still resonate today, where we need to go going forward, and other cyber stuff, as only he can present it. I also talk about where the heck I have been and why this episode is so late in coming. Give a listen, tell a friend. Check out www.cybersecureacademy or email Scott at scott@cybersecureacademy.com

In this episode, I begin a CyBUr Smart Summer series I am referring to as Origin Stories.  As some of you may know I am working on a couple of side projects to bring cybersecurity leadership and awareness services to businesses and individuals that need it. To that end, on my podcast, I have never really provided what @Russell Brunson calls the Origin Story. This episode will be mine. I realize that everyone has an origin story and we are all trying to pursue our passions, whatever they may be (I assume if you follow me you are somewhere in the cyber/tech world) thus this episode will start a summer series of “Origin Stories”. So I am offering my platform for anyone that would like to talk about their “Origin Story”. It doesn’t even have to be cyber-focused. I think we can all learn from each other.
