She’s been named one of Black Enterprise's Top 10 Young Women of Power under 40 and has been featured in a number of top publications including Forbes, The Washington Post and InStyle.   Not only fashion savvy, Stone is a media maven and trailblazer in the industry.  She started POSHGLAM in 2005, which supports established and emerging luxury designers. POSHGLAM set the standard for what's new in the world of fashion and luxury. The site has garnered views from over 147 countries.   After relaunching it 2017, POSHGLAM became a network and platform where fashion forward men and women with similar interests connect; with a newly added personal connection option via a dating app.   When Kimberly isn’t working on POSHGLAM, she can be found booking acting and modeling gigs and networking in Atlanta. Stone is known in the film industry for her on-set charm and beginner’s luck. She attributes her on-set success with the actors to a positive attitude and her appreciation for every experience whether large or small.      A while ago, she was casted as a pony for Django Unchained. Prior to this gig she was cast as part of Estelle’s Entourage BET’s “The Game” alongside Shawn Marion and for a dance scene in episode “No Money Mo Problems”. Her bite by the “Acting Bug” occurred in 2006 after being pulled into “We are Marshall” by Academy Award winning actor Anthony Mackie, after the director instructed him to refer to her as his ‘girlfriend’ for the film. Later that year she appeared in “Stomp the Yard”, Motives 3, Wilmer Valderrama’s “Yo Momma”, and in a 2007 Chevrolet Super Bowl commercial.   For Stone, 2017 was the year of the RELAUNCH. She jumped back into the TV & Film arena, as well as relaunchedthe fashion forward site, POSHGLAM.   Look out for Kimberly Stone as she dominates the TV, Film, and Fashion scene.

Excited to bring this episode to you all after a week's break. I was derailed with some storms here in Nashville and losing electricity over the weekend but I am SO excited to be back and bringing you an important decision I made in my life that ultimately brought you this podcast.  Book of the week: Setting Boundaries Will Set You Free by Nancy Levin
We each have a different story in life. We all have different struggles. Many of us have a higher level of privilege than others. One thing that I believe we have all faced in our lives is wanting to be fully seen and heard. We want to be known for who we are but feel like we are judged unfairly. On this episode, I discuss lessons on what I have learned in strengthening and building meaningful relationships through your life.  For the book of the week, I most recently read "Sisters First" then remembered one common underlying theme that I read in my favorite book this year, "I Take My Coffee Black" by Tyler Merritt.  Books of the week include:  I Take My Coffee Black by Tyler Merritt  Sisters First by Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Pierce Bush.
