बढ़ गया लेकिन दिलों के दरमियाँ का फ़ासला
इस धरती से आसमान तक जा पहुंचा विज्ञान
ऐसे में हम खो बैठे हैं भीतर का इंसान
उसे मंज़ूर ही शायद नहीं हैं मेरी फरियादें
तभी तो आसमाँ से सब सदायें लौट आती हैं

एक खबर कल आई थी खुशहाली की
अब तक वो अख़बार संभाले बैठे हैं
स्याह काले हाशियों के बीच होगा फिर लहू
सुबह के अख़बार की कल सुर्खियाँ तुम देखना
नित वही हिंसा वही हैं हादसे
में तो अब उकता गया अख़बार से
खून भी छापे गए हैं, 'रेप' भी छापे गए
आप कहिए तो भला है क्या कमी अख़बार में
