The boys sit dow with newly crowned semi-finalist in the Funniest Person in Cincinnati contest Nick Benevides! I’m not gunna misrepresent anything with this one. Nick is Hilarious and this episode is somehow 38-62% Tupac. We will let you be the judge. Follow Nick on instagram and go see him at Go Bananas Comedy Club this Summer! Thanks for listening to this good time.
Jerrel has been on this show more than most and it’s always a treat when we are able to have him! Another late night recording where we talk about his fathers advice for his career and one of the wildest hosts he’s ever seen. Go to Patreon.com/lovethebombcast to hear Jerrel stick around and talk about his relationships and thoughts on therapy. It’s a good time.
Mandee McKelvey returns on the eve of her first headlining night at Go Bananas to talk about her one woman show, the invisible rungs of the comedy ladder, and how her comedy saved a family.
Giles has 9 pounds of meat and two bombing stories and he’s sharing with everyone.
Austin Deller is a comedian/show runner/brand expert with a minor in getting wild. He talks about the birth of Deller Nation; how Franklin, Ohio may not be his target demographic; and then he and Loren freestyle rap.
This week we’re joined by nearly-married comedian power couple Ossia Dwyer and Garrett Titlebaum! We discuss our plans for the semi-finals of the Funniest Person in Cincinnati Contest, chain restaurants, and why you should pause shows when you have guests over.
bonus! This wasn’t supposed to happen but then it did and I’m so glad! Loren sits down with his king time friend to chat about life and work and other things that sound very boring in text. Jason is talented electrician and has worked both in the industrial and commercial side of shocky stuffs. If you would like support this show, or the boys in general, go to Patreon.com/howilearnedtostopworryingandlovethebomb
Nick Higdon came to Cincinnati like a year ago and comedy has never been the same. He chats with Luke and Loren about shaving dogs, how Luke was torn from his original timeline, and Papa John.
This podcast was made in loving memory of Big Spence.
Happy season 4! The boys bring in the new season by cracking some cold ones, reflecting on the past, and wondering what the future holds for them. We also discover that Loren has a dark other in another dimension and the barrier is wearing thin. Be sure to subscribe to the Patreon at Patreon.com/howilearnedtostopworryingandlovethebomb
It’s another selfish cast. Just the boys funnin around. They talk about the amish, relive some personal bombs, and Loren is unaware of the definition of a very important word.
The boys sit down with Cody Hucker, Luke Young, and Lloyd Johnson of the Bastard Sermon podcast! They discuss world history, home renovation, and generally just have a swell time.
Go to https://www.patreon.com/thebastardsermon and subscribe to hear the patreon episode!
Bridget Denman is back and ready to bond about a mutual love of setting fires! They chat about wild childhoods, quitting jobs, and bombing at the circus.
Where are we at? What’s going on? What’s on our hearts and how do we feel about what‘s on our hearts? Luke and Loren take a breather from the breakneck schedule of finding guests for a weekly podcast to talk about life, werewolves, and bombing.
Justin Adkins is hot off of moving on in the first round of the Funniest Person in Cincinnati Contest and he’s here to give you the good word on tulpas, comedy, and sweet juicy tang.
Luke and Loren talk to podcast security guard/local dog trainer, Captain Strongarms for like half an hour while Ran Barnaclo does angry, silent Tai Chi and pounds Topochico. Then, when Ran is good and goddamn ready, they chat about comedy and vaporized uncles.
This week Luke and Loren are plumbing the depths of comedy champion Jeff Norris! They try to get him to spill classified military secrets, Jeff bombs at Luke’s old mic, and they share the humbling experience of having a significant other. Also Degrassi comes up.
This week former improviser and current comedian Terra K sits down and chats with Luke and Loren. Instead of making fun of the improv community for their weird warm up exercises or for being too well-adjusted, Luke and Loren learn a thing or two from someone who has a foot in both worlds.
Loren and Luke sneak into Urban Artifact to interview comedian and swell guy Lee Kimbrell. Deep in the belly of the beast, they reflect on boyhood, talk about how they‘ve berated audience members, and Lee plugs his special like 17 times. While we’re talking about it though, you should probably go to https://tubitv.com and watch Lee Kimbrell: Mike and Molly where ”Comedian Lee Kimbrell tells all in his first special where he takes on his Kentucky childhood, eccentric family, and doing shows during the pandemic.” It’s a fun time.
Wayne Memmot is a comedian, showrunner, and dad. Much like he nurtures and guides his actual baby through the world, Wayne takes Luke and Loren by the hand and leads them through the trials and tribulations of show-running. Your hosts suckle at the rich teats of his comedy show knowledge, they gorge themselves on the hot milk of comedy drama, and they slurp up the story of his birthday bomb. Then Wayne puts them down for a nice long nap, slipping out the front door with nothing more than a wink and smile.
The boys are back in the homestead with comedian/musician/podcaster/all around swell guy, Tanner Hinds. They therapize, they goof, they talk about how Tanner bombed by bringing gay culture to Cheviot, Ohio for probably the first time ever. They also talk about pinhead‘s nasty little sex shop and the burden of being a champion of pleasure. It’s a good time.
