In which X7 takes us to the land of the Moab Giants, and has a lot of fun doing it. This made the entire trip to Moab worth it! Let's roll!
In which Xy wants us to know he did NOT talk the ears off Jeffrey (not his real name) at the visitor center of Utahraptor State Park today! See, he can learn some dino-manners (play on words there, you know)! Utah is a beautiful state, but 7 is ready to go back to good ol' Fossil Bed! Let's roll!
In which X7 takes a look at the remake of the classic Land of the Lost (1974) series. For some reason, Krofft Productions thought it would be a good idea to remake the whole thing in 1991. It is not the worst kid's show ever, and does have some great dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals. However, the scripts are a bit lacking. Take it for what it is, and it isn't too bad.
In which X7 takes a look at the Roy Chapman Andrews book All About Dinosaurs. This book was ubiquitous in dinosaur-loving kids' libraries for at least thirty years. X7 has had several copies himself, generally donated from older kids who somehow outgrew their love of dinosaurs. We blame sportsball for that unique phenomenon. Take a trip back to 1953 and the Gobi Desert! And yes, that is the cover of the book X7 owns.
In which X7 reviews the next four episodes of Speed Racer, 45-48! This is the penultimate review of the Speed Racer series for our podcast, and three out of the four episodes are pretty darn great. Drop the checkered flag, let's roll!
In which X7 reviews another Danish-American co-production, Journey to the Seventh Planet (1962) and it is pretty enjoyable. There is even a giant monster in it, sorta! Let us know what you think about it in the comment section! Let's roll!
In which X7 reviews the third Three Fantastic Supermen movie, Three Fantastic Supermen in the Jungle! We don't think this is the actual translation of the movie's title, but look that up on your own. It is pretty good, but... Let's roll!
In which X7 talks about seven sort of Irish themed songs, or at least they all have a green tinge to them! Why, he might even play a song today! Let's rock and roll!Don't miss Charlie's cameo!
In which we have another four episodes of Ultraman Mebius to review, and they are all winners! X7 manages to not over explain the episodes, even! Let's roll!
In which X7 upgrades his original The Adventures of Superman (1942) book review! It is full of all kinds of fun intersections now, but you will have to watch it all to find out! Up, up, and away!
In which X7 explores the hybrid Russian-US movie, Battle Beyond the Sun (from 1959/1962)! It is pretty interesting, and worth a viewing or two! See if there is an actual battle in the movie! Let's lift off!
In which X7 reviews five, count 'em, five, episodes of Speed Racer! Four out of five of them are a lot of fun, and one is a remake of a better earlier episode. You will have to watch and find out which episode it is! Drop the flag, let's roll!
In which X7 swims into the depths of The Phantom from 10,000 Leagues (1955)! It is a rather sleazy and low-budget production, but it is fair tolerable. Let's dive in!
In which X7 discusses Bruce Lee's directorial debut, Way of the Dragon! It is pretty darn good, overall, and had he lived, he would have made even better movies! Great fights are present throughout the movie as well! Bruce > Chuck! Let's roll!
In which X7 reviews another of his favorite Disney movies, The Aristocats from 1970! It is not quite a purrfect movie, but we are pretty impressed that X7 did not make a lot of catastrophic puns during this episode. Let's roll!
In which X7 takes a look at four more Ultraman Mebius episodes, and once again, they are all really good! Let's roll!
In which X7 talks about the first fanzine he ever bought, Japanese Fantasy Film Journal (pronounced JAY-EFF-EFF-JAY) #12, from 1979! Things sure have changed from those days, eh? Lets roll!
In which X7 reviews the long-awaited, finally released in 2024 movie, The Primevals! Was it worth the wait? Watch and find out! Let's roll!
In which X7 reviews five more action-packed episodes of Speed Racer! There are two two-part stories, but after this, there is only one of those left. Guess which two they are? Drop the flag, let's roll!
In which X7 discusses his first and most recent viewing of George Pal's The War of the Worlds, from 1953! He saw it on a re-issue double feature with When Worlds Collide in 1977, and it was great then as well! Let's roll!
