The Bills brought back more depth at safety on Friday with the return of Damar Hamlin on a one-year deal, and during the course of the week, added competition and depth on the offensive line and at receiver. The Bills have now formally introduced Joe Brady as the new head coach. Among his first moves, according to reports, is to hire offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael, who most recently has served as a senior offensive assistant to Sean Payton in Denver. Brady and Carmichael spent time together under Payton in New Orleans. Brady will continue to call plays, but Carmichael represents a critical hire in the process of putting together a new staff. After interviewing nine candidates, the Bills decided to promote offensive coordinator Joe Brady to become the team's new head coach.
