If you're concerned about where your youth or young adult is heading and want a better understanding about incarceration and politics in prison then you might want to listen or share our podcast with a person you think needs to learn more about the consequences of living a criminal lifestyle or breaking the law.
Real Talk Interventionists: Julian Morales, Raymond Torres & Gordon Wat, have led a criminal lifestyle that amounted to over 40 years of incarceration time.
These three men will give their input on how struggling parents dealing with out-of-control youth can change direction with a course of action. Their stories of growing up in the streets, getting involved in criminal activity, and leaving emotional scars with family and loved ones are compelling. These men have lived through the harsh realities of making bad choices, but they have also earned a second chance in life and have since became productive members of society, volunteering their time to change the lives of at-risk-youth and providing parents and guardians with the tools necessary to raise productive law abiding young citizens.
Fathering From Behind Bars
Today's episode is going to be a good one. We have a very special guest. I'm very excited to have this discussion with him on this topic:
"Fathering From Behind Bars."
Raymond is a Real Talk Youth Impact member, speaker, and volunteer as well as an award winning author for his book titled "The Chauffeur, From Federal Prison To Celebrity Chauffeur, A True Life Tale About Second Chances.“
Raymond Torres goes into a deep discussion about the pitfalls of getting a 20 year sentence and how his three children rode the bus from Las Vegas to visit him...In fact, here is quick blurb of him speaking.
"When you're involved in criminal activity, when you're involved in that type of lifestyle, in the back of your mind, you know, that sooner or later, there's a chance you could either get killed or incarcerated. And when you come into the federal system, those who know about the federal system, you know, they give out long sentences....
I always tell people, you're either going to betray the people that you're working with, in your criminal activity, or you're going to betray your family, because that's the choice you're going to have to come up with when you're facing 20 years. And I betrayed my family. And it was a very hard pill to swallow. Especially seeing my kids come to visit me at a young age, being in the visiting room, where my son wanted me to come home with them, knowing that I'm not coming home, him wanting to stay with me."
FIND OUT MORE BY LISTENING TO THE PODCAST:
How difficult is it to have a relationship with your kids from only writing letters and only 300 minutes of phone time a month?
How do you move on after your release from prison when everyone has moved forward with their lives without you?
Where do you begin and how does it end?

Welcome to "Is Anxiety and Stress A Real Thing"
In this bold new sement we discuss urgent topic about filling the void facts that will help you get on with their life. Something Mr. Julian was dealing with when I seen one of his video's.
So the other day, Mr. Morales was doing an interview on his show and I noticed something really strange. He wasnt' the same person since his transformation.
So what happened next was I gave him a call to check up on him since this is what we do by reaching out to see if everything is good with all our members. What hit me hard was he was going down that dark road of anxiety, PTSD, and depression.
After having that conversation I told lets talk about this on the next show and this is his true accounts on how he is dealing with this.
So if you want to reach out to people like us (without having to feel like nobody cares), watch this video right now!
In this explanation, you'll discover:
Here's where we are right now...as being an ex-felon with dark secrets
What is going to happen next after you can't get back into addiction
Dealing with anxiety and depression so you can cope with this pandemic
Filling the void as an addict with other things to keep you busy
Stuck at home and wondering what is going to happen next
Perspectives #1 - Understanding The Situation
Moving forward in this pandemic can be a really tricky thing. Having experiences like ours can be a blessing and a curse at the same time.
Perspectives #2 - Filling That Void
Getting back to a routine that you know you have to do, but being stuck in the house almost like the SHU brings back memories of being in a bad place emotionally. How to deal with that when it comes out.
Perspectives #3 - Making Use Of Your Time
Stop thinking and move in a different direction that you want to go. Make use of your time and catch yourself when those emotions start to come back up. There is a bigger picture, and nobody wants to be inside when this virus is ramping in the system.
My biggest takeaways for you from this presentation are:
We all don't know what the hell is going to happen. Schools, kids, finances, worry about getting sick. The one thing you don't want to do is revert back to your old self.

How One Retired Probation Officer Is Changing The Way We Deal With Our Youth.
The # 1 Thing struggling parents of an at-risk youth fear is their child ending up in the system or worst.
https://realtalkyip.org/
When it comes to helping their youth, what keeps struggling parents up in the middle of that night bathed in a cold sweat of panic is if their kids are making the right choices when they are not around. The #1 thing struggling parents fear most is getting that call in the middle of the night
The #1 skill struggling parents don't have is the experience in dealing with this type of situation.
In this special anniversary issue, you get to see the machine behind the youth impact program and meet the executive director and her reasoning behind it all.
Struggling parents dealing with their youth want to be able to sleep better at night knowing at ab minimum they know the consequences of their actions.
Parents want the best for their kids but let us keep it real some just go astray and sometimes dealing with them can be more of a struggle. The biggest thing holding struggling parents back from success with helping their youth is many things.
They could lack time, patience, funds, experience and much much more.
One of the many reasons why we are on this show and in real life to help others understand what is going on in their household.
Our director and speakers understand your youth and their current situation from years of experience from being on the streets that made the same mistakes and have years of incarceration from the same mistakes your child might be heading to right now.
Real Talk Youth Impact is the help to get them on the straight and narrow. Every struggling parent dealing with this type of situation is worried.. but just hoping things will get better is not a path to success and even worst the cost of not doing something now will be more costly.
Most of the time parents are at their last straw when they come to the program, or is usually court-ordered to attend.
We want to put a stop to that and the reasoning behind Real Talk Youth Impact. tired of trying? tired of the lying? tired of the abuse? Join us for this edition that just might give you the reason to at least check us out at:
The biggest thing holding struggling parents back from success with helping their youth is something we take pride in here at:
https://realtalkyip.org/
Are you a parent of an at risk youth who really wants some answers that you can't get anywhere else. Looking to use a 3rd party to communicate with your kids and the pitfalls of what they are doing now, headed too, or just is fed up with the crap they are pulling at home?
https://realtalkyip.org/
Does your child, teen want some direction, and its like talking to a brick wall? Does it look like your child is on a path to end up in the system?
Are you fed up with being disrespected in your very own home?
Is your child involved in things that you wish you could stop them from doing
Step 1: Drop what you're doing and watch this helping youth video right now!
and see if this might be able to get your child on the right path
Step 2: Get the real deal from people that want to help so your child doesn't become a statistic.
Both programs are dedicated to helping youth one at a time so they never have to go into the system.
We address issues doctors cannot prescribe medicine for.
