This episode AJ is joined by Rhys Sullivan to explode the flaws that the West Tigers football club have gone through in the last decade to see how we’ve gotten to the mess that the club is in at the moment. We look at the problems, attempted solutions that turned the club further backwards as well as the current mess the club is engulfed in. Enjoy the bumpy ride through TigerTown. I must advise a few technical issues on this one with some bad audio connection on Rhys’ end.
AJ is joined by Rhys Sullivan (well for half of the program) and discuss the crazy filled Cronulla Sharks decade. From the supplements saga to a self reported Salary Cap breach, this had it all. Despite contrary belief, they are on the way up and will be rebuilding. However, you got to look back and see how you got here. A lot of work went into this and the lockdown enabled me to get out an episode before I undergo my HSC Trials and HSC.
This episode is some real fun to record. AJ and Rhys answer the age old questions. Why do teams collapse and fail on the Gold Coast. It’s a lovely place but teams and players never thrive up there. It’s parties and trouble all the way. The story of the Gold Coast is a must listen for league fans.

This edition I break down the 1990 season. The game was growing exponentially since the introduction of Tina Turner. But off the field the game was rocked by drug taking. On the field, teams collapsed, whilst some teams rose to the occasion. It’s what made 1990 Simply the Best
I’m joined by Rhys Sullivan as we recall the Knights charge to the 1997 premiership. Its a follow on from our super league episode as we recall how the Knights brought the city together by winning their first grand final. We’ll bring up how the city had to recover from the devastating 1989 earthquake as well as how rugby league Brought the town together. A much listen for any league fan.
