Remember the "best and worst of" categories featured in your high school year book? We do that with TV shows. We scour the internet to find the best and worst episodes of popular tv shows. We watch them. We talk about them. Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's serious and sometimes we make you think. Hosted by Dom, Greg and James. Three children of the 80's that love television and are remarkably average in every way.

Well it's been a year so it seems like a good time to release something. This is our last episode of the season and the series. We had a good run but if you would like to change our mind and continue with the work of art, please reach out via the socials, gmail (TheTVYearbook@gmail.com), or patreon.  Regardless we did very little editing on this to get it out, so don't be too harsh of a judge and enjoy.  According to popular opinion on the internet: The best episode of this series is season 3 episode 20: Honey, I Broke the House While the worst is season 8 episode 15: My Left Food and Right Foot
In 1992, Comedian Mark Curry realized the dream by making a TV show about a man, Mr. Cooper, who almost realizes the dream of being an NBA star only to become a substitute teacher.    Mr. Cooper charismatically graces the screen helping the troubled youth of Oakland realize their potential and attempts to leave the world a better place than when he found it. Pure TGIF material.    I would like you to imagine you are a star athlete that is in striking distance of realizing the dream only to fall short, what would you do? If your answer is move in with a friend and become a substitute teacher to help troubled youths, then this is the show for you.    According to popular opinion on the internet: The best episode of this series is season 1 episode 3: On the Rebound While the worst is season 2 episode 20: Double Cheeseburger, Hold the Diploma
Have you ever seen "The Odd Couple" or "Mork and Mindy" or "Tuner and Hooch"? If so, you pretty much know what "Perfect Strangers" is about.   A Wisconsin native and a shepard from Mypos move in together in the big city of Chicago. Witty dialogue, precarious situations, and misspoken idioms abound.    If you like to know what is going to happen in an episode, then this is the series for you.    According to popular opinion on the internet: The best episode of this series is season 3 episode 17: Pipe Dreams While the worst is season 7 episode 16: Yes Sir, That's My Baby
What would happen if someone was given a ton of money and free reign to create a show that was conceived in the brain of Jim Henson?  Well you don't have to wonder because it was created. A sitcom full of animatronic masses of latex and silicone, a catchphrase machine in the form of a baby megalosaurus, and gallons of anti-fungal cream for the actors inside those suits graced the TGIF lineup in the early 90's.  This "historic" show used a combination of expert puppetry and satire to become a forward-thinking sitcom that tackled everyday family issues through the lens of anthropomorphic dinosaurs. If you ever wished the show Roseanne was made of Muppets, then this is the series for you.  According to popular opinion on the internet: The best episode of this series is season 2 episode 2: Family Challenge While the worst is season 2 episode 22: Slave to Fashion
Boy Meets World follows the boy, Cory Matthews, and his friend Shawn from middle school to college as they navigate all the trials and tribulations that those environments can hurl at you.  They tackle alcoholism, cults, parental absenteeism and a slew of other hard hitting issues.   However while you might not remember those episodes, what you probably remember is Topanga. You also probably remember puberty starting soon after.     If you like reminiscing about hormonal urges, then this is the series for you.  According to popular opinion on the internet: The best episode of this series is season 5 episode 24: Graduation While the worst is season 5 episode 5: The Witches of Pennbrook
Family Matters, a spin off from Perfect Strangers, focuses on the Winslow family as they navigate life while having to deal with a serial stalker with a penchant for destroying personal property.   Somehow that lunatic-genius, Steve Urkel, became an overnight sensation and took the world by storm.  You couldn't walk through a school in the 90's without hearing someone say "Did I do that?" If you like a show where a maladroit is the hero, then this is the series for you.  According to popular opinion on the internet: The best episode of this series is season 4 episode 12: It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Urkel While the worst is season 8 episode 24: A Pirate's Life For Me
Sliders was a show that "the suits" wanted to bury but the fans kept it alive.  Originally on FOX and canceled multiple times, the show eventually ended up on the Syfy Channel where it was unceremonsionuly laid to rest.  The show was kind of like Quantum Leap but younger, hipper and starred a future dwarf.  It kept the audience coming back with its alternate timelines formula as the "Sliders" "slid" into "infinite" "parallel" "dimensions".   Sadly the demise of the show started with the suits and the writers inability to be creative with infinite possible story lines.  If you like a show that's gets you thinking about "What if?" but has the budget of public access, then this is the series for you.  According to popular opinion on the internet: The best episode of this series is season 2 episode 10: Post Traumatic Slide Syndrome While the worst is season 5 episode 18: The Seer
A space opera that was ahead of its time OR on an island of obscurity? A show that survived by staying under budget OR was fiscally responsible? Had original stories OR ripped off everything in existence? These are some of the burning questions that we tackle in our episode covering the best and worst of Babylon 5. A show that actually won Emmys, has a dedicated following but is not available to be streamed.  If you like a show that's as deep as Aristotle on shrooms , then this is the series for you.  According to popular opinion on the internet: The best episode of this series is season 3 episode 10: Severed Dreams While the worst is season 1 episode 14: TKO
This show has everything you want: ghosts, aliens, hot leads, psychics that can't win the lottery, government conspiracies and crazy meow dolls.  Wait, what are crazy meow dolls? You know it's that thing where you take a bunch of cats and give them meth and then make puppets out of them.  If you like the paranormal and prop shops on short time, then this is the series for you.  According to popular opinion on the internet: The best episode of this series is season 3 episode 4: Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose   While the worst is season 3 episode 18: Teso Dos Bichos
Where's the safest place to be during a pandemic?  One might think it's in Roy Scheider's bigger boat with the talking dolphin. However you can't forget about the underwater sea facility making mutant plants that are oddly reminiscent of an infamous speech in the Val-Air Ballroom in West Des Moines, Iowa.  If you like girthy, swinging, unkempt foliage, wonder why Dom is disappointed in himself and are curious about an underwater Wesley Crusher, then this is the series for you.  According to popular opinion on the internet: The best episode of this series is season 1 episode 8: Give Me Liberté   While the worst is season 2 episode 8: By Any Other Name
Putting right that which once went wrong?  Many things go awry for Dr. Sam Beckett as he leaps around time and place and into other people's bodies but the musical number he and Al came up with should be at the top of the list.  If you love a show from your childhood but wonder if it has stood the test of time, then this is the series for you.  According to popular opinion on the internet: The best episode of this series is season 3 episode 22: Shock Theater   While the worst is season 5 episode 15: Blood Moon
Season 2 of The TV Yearbook we focus on early 90's sci-fi shows and of course we start with the grand daddy of them all.  However the episodes we cover today don't have much to do with phasers, the Borg or Holodecks. Instead we dive deep into the heart of the show.   If you love repressed sexual tension, then this is the series for you.  According to popular opinion on the internet: The best episode of this series is season 5 episode 25: The Inner Light   While the worst is season 7 episode 14: Sub Rosa

Light colored suits with a pastel t-shirt underneath was a look that you could only pull off on Halloween.  But not true for Crockett and Tubbs. It also probably helped that they drove around in fancy cars and boats and got to blow stuff up.  Also having the day's top music play in the background was just icing on the cake made of cocaine.    If you still have your white suit because just maybe you'll have a reason to wear it, then this is the series for you. According to popular opinion on the internet: the best episode of this series is season 1 episode 16: Smuggler's Blues   While the worst is season 4 episode 7: Missing Hours

It's a must.  These are just a few of the hallmarks of "The A-Team".  A group of ex-army special force members, apparently on the run from the United States government, parade around the country performing heroic deeds.   If you have the heart of a 10 year old boy, then this is the series for you.
