What if you could test a product idea before buying inventory? Learn new launch tools, AI-powered storefronts, and an overlooked ad mistake that could be costing you sales. What does it take to give a new Amazon product a better chance of succeeding? Recorded at Amazon Accelerate, Bradley Sutton speaks with Ami Pandya from Amazon’s New Product Success team about two decisions sellers often underestimate: validating demand before buying inventory and building momentum after launch. Ami explains why confidence in an idea is no substitute for customer data, and why the first 90 days call for active attention to traffic, reviews, and early sales signals. Ami walks through updates to Product Opportunity Explorer, including insights into unmet demand and Validate Your Product Idea. Sellers can enter a proposed product’s price and features, compare it with leading products, examine customer feedback, and refine the concept before manufacturing. She also discusses an announced AI-powered launch playbook designed to recommend actions for each product, plus FBA New Selection Program incentives that may help eligible sellers manage launch costs. Bradley then sits down with Angie Mosqueda, who runs the Amazon business for Stardust Spill Products. Angie shares how newer Brand Store tools could help her show business buyers multipacks while giving first-time shoppers more introductory content. When she checked her Store analytics, she found another opportunity: her advertising was not sending Sponsored Brands traffic directly to the storefront. After bringing advertising in-house, Angie had to sort through hundreds of campaigns left by previous agencies. She now uses AI with her Amazon and Helium 10 accounts to review performance, research keywords, adjust bids, and identify wasted spend. Her experience offers a practical reminder: a strong product launch is only the beginning. Keep checking what shoppers see, where your ads take them, and what the numbers say to do next. Could an AI influencer send shoppers to your Amazon products? Discover how videos made for under $1 can drive organic traffic, build an audience, and help grow without paying to boost posts.   What if the person introducing shoppers to your products never existed in real life? In this episode of the AM/PM Podcast, Bradley Sutton welcomes e-commerce marketer Hurricane Liz Herrera for a hands-on workshop exploring how AI-generated influencers can attract attention and send organic traffic to Amazon listings. Liz shares examples of brands generating substantial sales with little or no sponsored advertising activity in the data she presents, raising an intriguing question: How much of your competitors’ success could be starting outside Amazon?   Liz takes viewers inside her content creation process, from researching successful Instagram videos to building an AI character and generating individual scenes in Google Flow. She demonstrates how AI assistants can break a script into short segments, suggest an avatar based on a product’s target customer, and prepare images for animation. Using the credit costs discussed during the workshop, she estimates that a six-scene video can cost around $0.90 to generate. The demonstration also reveals why detailed prompts, consistent character references, and a final human review matter when turning AI output into usable content.   Creating the video is only part of the strategy. Liz explains how she distributes content through separate influencer accounts on Instagram and Facebook, using calls to action that encourage viewers to comment and receive a product link. She also shares an example of an account that continued attracting followers and sales after posting stopped. Bradley and Liz discuss how recommendation feeds can introduce videos to people who have never followed the creator, allowing newer accounts to reach potential customers. Their focus remains on content that motivates action, with appropriate disclosures and messaging that fits the brand.   For sellers ready to expand production, Liz shares how automation connects script selection, image generation, rendering, and editing while preserving a final human quality check. She also discusses her Paris workshop and the work involved in maintaining these systems as tools evolve. Watch the YouTube version to follow the visual demonstration, then consider where this approach could fit your business. Start with one clear product story, create something worth watching, and use what you learn to build another path for shoppers to discover your brand. In episode 560 of the AM/PM Podcast, Bradley and Liz discuss: 00:00 - Introduction 07:46 - Brand Examples And External Traffic 16:02 - Meet The AI Influencers 18:12 - Finding Scripts And Researching Content 23:53 - Creating AI Video Scenes In Google Flow 32:28 - Turning Viewer Comments Into Product Traffic 35:08 - Automating AI Video Production 42:37 - AI Disclosures And Brand Trust 44:41 - Breaking Down Video Creation Costs 46:08 - Distributing Videos On Instagram And Facebook

Amazon Accelerate 2026 delivered a wave of announcements that could reshape how sellers build and manage their businesses. One of the biggest developments is Amazon’s collaboration with Anthropic, which could bring Seller Assistant’s intelligence, recommendations, and ability to take approved actions into Claude. Helium 10’s Bradley Sutton and Andrea Marquez of Amazon’s This is Small Business podcast explore how sellers may soon combine Amazon business information with tools such as Claude and Helium 10 MCP to research opportunities, analyze performance, and streamline everyday operations. The episode examines Amazon’s growing role across the entire supply chain. Amazon Global Logistics can now deliver inventory from a factory to a seller’s warehouse or 3PL, while Multi-Channel Fulfillment can provide faster Prime-style delivery for orders placed through platforms such as TikTok Shop. Sellers may also gain access to expanded financing, more flexible supply chain services, and greater protection against immediate listing suspensions. Bradley and Andrea also discuss how conversational shopping with Alexa for Shopping could help customers discover products without knowing the correct keywords. On the seller side, new product-validation tools can provide valuable category insights before a product launches.
