We conclude our short series on Backsliding and consider two more symptoms of the backslider - the diminished fear of God and lack of spiritual exercise - along with the cure to backsliding - which is rooted in the free love and mercy of God in Christ. Hosea 14-4
We consider Paul's farewell address to the Ephesian elders from Acts 20 and see to whom the Apostle entrusts them - to God - as well as to the Word of His Grace able to build us up and lead us to glory. All Christians must remember to whom they are entrusted to and the means that leads them to heaven. Acts 20-32.
We conclude our Gospel Worship series by considering the ordinance of males having their head uncovered and the female's hair being covered with a fabric covering during public worship from 1 Corinthians 11-2-16. --We find that Paul's arguments deal with nature, heaven, and the covering of the woman's glory - and none of the argumentation made by the apostle deal with culture. And so, we find an ordinance that abides even today, and consider the history of its removal from the church - due to the advent of feminism.

We consider a topical sermon, in light of the recent Resurrection festival throughout visible Christendom, considering how the Lord's Day is given by Christ to the church weekly, and how rather than augmenting worship, the observance of annual festivals in the visible church distorts and diminishes the glory and power of Christ on His Lord's Day. We continue our series on the 7 Signs of John's Gospel and consider Christ as the incarnate bread of life. We see that Christ Himself supplies the only spiritual food and drink that can redeem, fill, and give perpetual life to the soul. Preached from John 6-49-51.
-Due to technical difficulties video is not available-.--In our second sermon on backsliding, we discover that the core issue is that the heart of the backslider has been taken away from Christ. Either sin or the world has snatched their affections. The backslider is called to turn their heart back to Christ and remember the love of espousals - of first love to Christ and repent of their backsliding in heart.
The Fourth Sign- Christ in the Midst of the Storm
We begin a short series on the dangers and cure to backsliding. In the first sermon we get an overview of backsliding and see that our flesh is prone to it. The danger is that perpetual backsliding leads to apostasy. But the grace of Christ can restore a repentant backslider.
