In this episode we speak to Franck Godefroy Franck Henry Godefroy is a Haitian born photographer. He describes his work as a balance between a setting, its composition and Its emptiness. He welcomes and appreciates ambiguity through the minimalism of his work. Photography was a hobby for the beginning years but he has progressively felt the want to explore and expand in a more purposeful way. In this episode we speak to Olivia Wells Olivia Wells grew up half in the US and half in Italy. Her experience as an immigrant, and subsequent homecoming, helped to hone her eye to the particularities of both cultures, which she strives to express visually through her artwork. Olivia graduated as a Master Mosaicist from the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli in 2016, where she was trained in classical Italian techniques. Since then, she has worked developing her own take on this ancient medium. Olivia is based out of her native New York City, where the medley of different cultures influences her every day. In this episode we speak to Melika Dave aka Offering Rain Melika is an NYC born and based multi-media artist and organizer of Indian & Ecuadorian descent working in the realms of audio, poetry, painting and design. They utilize their artistic practice in hopes of refreshing the earth like rain through poly-cultural sound, poetry and symbolism. Their previous work has been exhibited at Art on the Ave NYC, Soho House, Knockdown Center and Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance. As a DJ, they have worked in collaboration with HBO Max, Instagram, NTS Radio, mutual.love and the like. Their music has been featured on Euphoria, Genera+ion and Walker.
