I used to sleep walk as a child and it was usually not long after I had gone to sleep. I would get up and go out to my parents and didn't recognise them. I would cry and say I wanted my Mum and Dad and they would say we are your Mum and Dad. I would become hysterical. They would eventually get me back to bed and to sleep. I did have a vague recollection the next day.
