There’s a quiet unraveling that can happen in the name of doing it all. You wake up one morning feeling like a shadow of yourself—your schedule’s full, your to-do list is long, but your soul feels thin. You’re showing up, sure… but not from a place of wholeness. “Something has to shift”, you think. In today’s episode of Let’s Be Cleere, I’m joined by my dear friend Alyssa Joy Bethke—author, mama (now to four!), podcast host, and truth-teller whose life is such an example of what it means to steward what matters and learn to release what doesn’t. Her newest book When Doing It All Is Undoing You has been an anchor for countless women feeling stretched, worn, and quietly wondering, “Is this how it’s supposed to feel?”Together, we talk about the ache and glory of motherhood, the refining nature of life’s transitions, and the sacred undoing that often comes before deep healing. Alyssa shares what it looks like to embrace slow rhythms in a world that tells us to run faster—and how rest, surrender, and small faithfulness are often the truest signs of strength.Whether you're in a season of busyness, transition, or simply trying to breathe deeper and live slower, this episode will meet you there—with gentleness, wisdom, and the invitation to lay it all down.✨ In this episode, we explore: • How undoing can be the beginning of healing • The myth of balance and the beauty of surrender • Her CRAZY, miraculous birth story of her fourth, Jayden (you won’t want to miss this one!) • Rhythms of renewal in the thick of motherhood • Why your worth was never meant to be earnedThis one feels like a deep breath. A reminder that less really can be more, and that you’re already deeply loved right where you are.More from Alyssa Joy Bethke:🌿 Website: www.alyssajoybethke.com 📖 Book: When Doing It All Is Undoing You📸 Instagram: @alyssajoybethke🎧 Podcast: The Real Life Podcast

Everyone always says, “You shouldn’t operate out of fear.” And I only HALFWAY agree with that. I would clarify and say this: YOu must operate out of the right kind of fear.We are always operating out of fear of something. It’s how we are wired.Either we are operating out of worldly fear and that drives us or we are living out of holy fear and that is guiding us.Fear isn’t a negative thing; it’s WHO and WHAT we fear that determines whether we experience deep abundance or debilitating anxiety..In this episode, we dig into the difference…how do we notice when we are living in worldly fear and how do we live in a holy fear that reveres God instead? What does this look like?.Follow along with @cleerelystated for daily encouragement! All products mentioned - and many more- can be found on 🤍

In order to truly live unfiltered and bring the unfiltered version of ourselves to the feet of Jesus, we must be willing to pay the cost of vulnerability. What are the risks? Is it safe? How do we know when to be vulnerable? And what happens if we aren’t willing? Do the costs outweigh the rewards? In this episode, we dig into both and learn what our Heavenly Father says about the power and necessity of being vulnerable. If we were crafted for relationship, is it possible to have a fruitful life and remain filtered? Let’s ask Jesus together!
What does it really mean to live unfiltered before Jesus? What prevents us from living unfiltered lives? What has our filtered culture and mindset done to us? How do we pursue lives of authenticity and transparency in a world obsessed with image and a culture consumed with curation + conformation? In this episode, we dig into what it really means to be unfiltered— in the way that Jesus asks + longs for us to be— the kind that produces peace and ensures our contentment + safety. We long to be known, yet we apply filters on the inside + outside of our lives, not allowing anyone, even ourselves, to really know us…how does this affect us? How do we live differently? Unfiltered: will we trust Jesus with ALL of us so that we can walk in ALL He has for us? Preorder the “Unfiltered” Bible Study here: https://amzn.to/4eYIyH5
You probably already know my dear friend, Brittany Sjogren— the beautiful face and heart behind the Instagram, @loverlygrey. In this episode, we talk about how different perception is from reality, how boundaries are necessary to protect our peace, and how to find true fulfillment in an industry that can easily leave you chasing the next thing. Brittany is honest, wise, and authentic; her willingness to go against the grain is so refreshing and I can’t wait for you to hear her heart in this episode. If you’ve been procrastinating on pursuing your dreams, if you’ve been reluctant to show up because the desired space you’re interested in is too saturated, or if you’re burnt out from plowing the field and wondering if it’s worth it to keep going, this episode will meet you right where you are. It will encourage you, remind you of the power of hard work, and inspire you to trust the Holy Spirit with whatever you put your hands to. The truth is, we all have influence exactly where we are; the difference will be whether we realize that influence and what we choose to do with it. Take a note from Brittany: The world needs the unfiltered version of you!
In this podcast, we dig into the word “with”- the four-letter, incredibly common word used a million times in our everyday vernacular but I personally think it might be the most powerful word in the english language. I know that’s a big statement but you’ll see what I mean as we dig deeper together.
With: the notion of togetherness. Camaraderie. When you are with someone, you are not alone.
I would argue that it is WHO you are WITH that changes your experience the most– not even where you are or what you’re going through or whatever it may be but the company you keep while you’re there.
Struggling to be vulnerable or let people into your pain? A little worn out by what life is asking of you and needing a reminder to keep going? Needing endurance for your current journey?Navigating the gap between what you expected and your reality? This one’s for you. In this episode, Will (my husband if you’re new here:)), dig into what life has been like since our last episode of Sledge coming home from the hospital— parent or not, I believe this episode will encourage you right where you are. The truth is, we often feel like God asks for more endurance than we have, but only God knows how strong we are with Him. I pray this episode encourages you to look for God’s hand, invite others in, and to be honest about where you are as you trust God to hold you, help you, and heal you.

Simplicity. Having a simple life. Pursuing the simple things…it all sounds so…rosy yet unrealistic, right? Amidst the millions of distractions, hurried culture, and expectations of you, how is it possible to live a simple life? In this episode, we will dig into the how, what, who, and why behind pursuing a simple life— clearing the clutter and leaving room for what matters.
Life is busy and most seasons are filled with asking the question, “God, how do I do this well and not tire out?” Especially amidst the hard seasons, it is crucial to have priorities in order and rhythms in place to protect your peace and allow you to freely operate with joy. In this episode, one of my favorite authors and communicators dives into how to do this in very realistic and practical ways. Notorious for her books, “You are Free” and “Rhythms of Renewal”, her latest book, “Resilient” shows us how to walk forward in the really hard seasons— having healthy infrastructure helps us dig in when we want to give up. Don’t miss this episode— I promise it’ll encourage + challenge you!
How are you doing with your New year's goals and resolutions? Or what about just your everyday rhythms-- do you feel like you're already behind or defeated? Or did you get smothered by unrealistic expectations and never even begin? Either way, in this episode, we dig into the power of creating realistic, everyday rhythms that make us more like Jesus, which is ultimately the true desire behind every worthy and lasting goal.
Cleere reviews some Q&A from her Instagram stories regarding the most common answers for where people are at, what they are struggling with, and what they are needing from God right now-- and the commonalities amongst the answers are wild and comforting.
Wherever you are, whatever season you find yourself in, no matter how far off you have already gotten from the hopes you set for yourself this year, this podcast is for you.
Today is the perfect day for a reset. And the beauty of following Jesus' lead and being loved by Him? He knows how to pivot and adjust better to anyone.
Lean in...this is a good one!
It's been a minute! I've missed y'all! Season 2 is kicking off with a mixture of interviews with some of my favorite people and then some conversations with just you and me!
First up, none other than my pastor, Aaron Kennedy. He is the lead pastor of Open Door Church in Winterville, North Carolina and I have had the privilege to sit under his wisdom, guidance, and obedience for several years. We dig deep-- everything from knowing your own red flags to hearing God's voice to what it looks like to truly lead from a place of vulnerability and authenticity. Aaron is one of the most real, fun, and gracious people I know; I pray this conversation blesses you like it did me.

Everyone, or most everyone, has good intentions, right? We WANT to live a life that is full of purpose, driven in the right direction, and expands the Kingdom of Heaven. Yet, how many times do we get to the end of our days, or even our years, and think, "Why wasn't I more intentional with my time?"
In this episode, we dive into FOUR QUESTIONS we can ask Jesus to get more intentional with our time, our resources, and our energy in every season. Realistic, relatable, and raw for right where this finds you.
Don't get to the end of 2023 wishing that once again, you had lived differently. Sit with Jesus and get intentional today because we all know, life surely will try to distract you :)

What is your purpose? How do you know if you are living a life of purpose? Is it possible to miss out on God's purpose for your life or a specific season?
In this episode, we dig into this word "purpose" and what God says about it. The truth is, our souls were made to live a life of rich purpose and anything short of it will always leave us feeling restless. God is the "more" we are craving in every circumstance.
So how do we walk in purpose? Listen in :)

Amidst the madness of life and the going, going, going, I think it's always so healthy and helpful to take a step back and ask yourself: What is God teaching me right now? Am I listening? And when I hear Him, do I have the faith and courage to follow?
In this episode, Cleere dives into three different things God is teaching her right now...3 things that the Holy Spirit has continually prompted and brought to her spirit...
1. How do we find order? We all crave it.
2. Are we supposed to avoid tension in our relationships? Can it truly be helpful?
3. What happens we talk about how big Goliath is? Does it help us fight?
As you listen, think about the things God is showing your spirit. Turn down the voices and get still...He is speaking.
