Whaaat? A new episode already a week after the previous one? Is this old Norderlanders? Hey, don't stress it, its Summer Gaming showcases season, and there is a lot to talk about. So with pleasure we'll bring you a new episode.  Join us when we react to the rest of the biggest showcases. Xbox Showcase, do they bring enough to make Xbox stand by itself? Or are they being to dependent on Starfield? Well that showcase was pretty good and Starfield is shaping up to be something special. Ubisoft seems to play it safe, with less games, and games that are more back to basics. They do have some potential bangers from their studio Massive, who is bringing two Disney games. Capcom was pretty mid, just showing what we already know. But Dragons Dogma 2 is looking great. And don't forget, there are still alot of cool and interesting games that are coming in June, so we'll help you do not miss anything. Back again... yay? Well, we a happy we are back and so many games to talk about! Emil is back in time with more Borderlands 2 and Call of Duty. He feels some shame about it. But he has also been a good gamer with two new games! Cult of the Lamb has a lot of potential and can easily be addictive as hell. And he went to one of the forgotten gems, Dark Messiah Might and Magic a game from 2006. Its unattentionally funny with a lot of physics based gameplay. Jens has also been a good gamer with going back to his backlog. Where he has finished Hyper Light Drifter and Owlboy. Good on him! He also got reminded of how good Hollow Knight is. But damn, he has some criticism about the much beloved game.  On the newsfront, we talk more Indies that got showcased at Nintendo Indie World Showcase. The Microsoft Activision Blizzard acquisition has hit a bump, where the CMA has blocked the deal. Reasoning being, the worries about monopoly in the cloud gaming market. And then we discuss the AI advances and how that will affect the video game industry. Will it help it or just ruin everything? Take a listen would you? Consider leaving us a nice review if you liked the episode or share us with other fellow gamers. Helps us grow! Also subscribe to know when we release a new episode. Getting to Max level. Then back to Call of Duty... SHAME! 00:25:40 - 00:34:14 Completing Hyper Light Drifter and Owlboy. Way to go with the Switch backlog. 00:34:14 - 00:42:34 Cloudpunk works strangely, Two new games; Cult of the Lamb and Dark Messiah Might & Magic. 00:42:34 - 00:48:37 Hollow Knight, what a wonderful game that is hard to play. Also the Deep Rock Galactic Board game is awesome! 00:48:37 - 00:55:07 Jedi Survivor excitement but bad perfomance.. Also hopefully Redfall will be substantial. 00:55:07 - 01:00:08 Tears of the Kingdom previews are out, gameplay from Immortals of Aveum, & Armoured Core IV! 01:00:08 - 01:02:23 NEWS: Indies from Nintendo Indie World showcase. 01:02:23 - 01:06:54 New important info about the Microsoft Activision acquisition. Hope you like two dudes talking about video games, because this episode is full of that! So many games! Borderlands 2 is a masterpiece, and we just got reminded of it. Tails of Iron is a sweet sweet game, that brought Emil to start his Souls journey, Starting with Demon Souls. Jens has had a terrible migraine week where he started to get worried about his health. Luckily is better now and he has played more relaxing games like Uncharted Drake's Fortune, Ni No Kuni and Dragon Quest 8. On the newsfront, Ark Survival Evolved and Ark 2 had a backlash recently, where it sure was scammy approach.. Playstation 4's DREAMS is ending its live-service support in September. Redfall gives a bad example, releasing only with 30 FPS mode on Xbox Series consoles. And ASUS announces a new Steam Deck competitor. What will it cost? Probably over a 1000 USD. We also share our excitement for Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, curiousity for Immortals of Aveum, a FPS with no guns, only magic. And Hyper Light Breaker looks super sweet! Well, that is what this episode will be dedicated to! Did we like it? How is an ARPG compared to other games? Hear it all in this episode. We also played so many other games and loving it. There is a game out there for everyone. On the news front, Multiversus goes offline until full release which is weird. E3 2023 is cancelled, and we can't see a future where the showcase could ever return. Last of Us Part 1 on PC is a total mess which is unacceptable. And we talk about the 10 min uninterrupted game play that got shown for Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Lastly, we are loving that Spring brings forward a warm feeling inside.
