Probably legal and probably not. There are some photo and video snippets on this one, so tune in on YouTube, if you can. We are thankful for you and appreciate the support. Onward, folks. Happy Thanksgiving!!! This episode is coming to you from a remote mountainside, somewhere in the NC mountains. Ren Lackey joins us on the podcast to talk about hunting the rugged hills of western North Carolina. Jason gives a detailed explanation of how mountains work, for the uninformed. We discuss the sign found, our setups and count the number of animals we saw. The Deer and Bear population was not very cooperative but we had a GREAT time. Please consider a donation on Jason's GoFund me page for the purchase of a new or gently used power wheelchair. Please subscribe and consider telling your friends to check out the show. We thank you sincerely for the support and please give a written review and rate the podcast. See you on the next one!
This week on the podcast, we pick up where we left off in Ohio. If you follow along on social media, you know a buck took a dirt nap. With the year we have all had, this podcast really puts a fairy tale ending to Ohio. We talk about some frustrations that happened and a great post hunt meal that rivals any 5 star Italian restaurant. Who knows, there may be more in store for Ohio in the upcoming months but you have to stick around to see. Please subscribe and tell someone about the show. Send us your input, stories, pictures of complaints (Jason loves those). If you would, leave us a WRITTEN review and 5 stars if you'd be so kind!
This week the guys talk about making the trip to beautiful Ohio, "a place where the beer flows like wine, where giant whitetail bucks instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano". Bonus points...name the butchered movie quote. It's always a great time of year and Ohio may have panned out pretty darn well for someone. If you follow us on social media, you've been spoiled already. Make sure you are subscribed to the podcast. New episodes drop on Thursdays. Make sure to share it with your friends and enemies and leave us a written review! Thanks for tuning in.
The Skinning Shed boys are back and talking about recent rut activity in the Old North State. Well, it starts off that way and of course things take a turn. Make sure you send us any activity you are seeing on the Fuel Outdoor Gear social media pages. Please subscribe, rate and review. It really does help. Give a Hoot, Don't Polute!
The Skinning Shed crew is back with a conversation all about trying to track that deer you just popped. Following the blood, looking for signs, and trying to get to the finish line. They share success stories, tips and tricks. But they also share a couple stories where the tracking didn't go so well.
Jason has already told us his side of the story of his first time public land hunting in Kentucky. In this episode, we are getting more of the truth from his hunting partner Ren Lackey. Long time gun hunter but relatively new to archery, Ren brings a cool perspective to the Skinning Shed.
In this weeks episode, Jason gives a recap of a recent public land adventure up in Kentucky. This was Jason's first time hunting Kentucky, and he learned a lot from this experience. You might get some tips and tricks... or you might have a good laugh. If you've been thinking about heading out of state public landing hunting, give it a listen.
