It’s a gentle reminder that Easter is not just history, but hope alive in us. It speaks to the heart of families gathered around the table, and communities longing for renewal.Easter means that brokenness is not the end, because love has the final word. It means that in every home, no matter how weary, there is a promise of new beginnings. It means that in every community, no matter how divided, there is a call to unity through grace. Mercy, grace, and peace abound to all who are tuning in today. From our hearts here at Into The Garden, we wish you a blessed and joyful Easter.May this day remind us that love conquers fear, hope rises from despair, and new life is possible for every family, every community, and every soul.Happy Easter from all of us. Be steadfast. Be astute. And at the right time, God will come through for you.Blessings, light & loveSalomé JacobsFounder Into The Garden & Team
Join Elder Audrey Folson on Sassy Soul Friend of God as she unpacks the story of Hannah - a woman of relentless faith. Elder Audrey Folson, on Sassy Soul Friend of God, reminds us that true devotion is found in persistence before the Lord. When faced with impossibility, Hannah did not retreat - she poured out her heart until her breakthrough came. This message calls us to trust God fully, to remain steadfast in prayer, and to believe that He will come through. Hannah was a woman of relentless faith - yet also deeply troubled. Perhaps you find yourself in the very situation Hannah faced, or in a crisis of entrenchment.Have faith like Hannah in the God who provides. Her name means favour or grace - So, may you walk in that same favour, and may the God of Hannah hear your prayer and answer you today.Be encouraged, be strengthened, and be reminded that God hears and answers.Blessings, light & loveSalomé JacobsFounder Into The Garden & Team
For so many today, this episode might hit home.. It might even trigger a past emotion but know that you are not alone. What is done in the dark, comes to light. This episode takes us into the remarkable story of the daughters of Zelophehad - Numbers 27:1-23 - five sisters who refused to be silent when their inheritance was at stake. In a culture where women were often overlooked, they stood boldly before Moses and the leaders, demanding justice, and changed history. Elder Audrey Folson unpacks their faith, determination, and conscientious spirit, showing how their stand speaks directly to us today. Upon closing host Salomé shares her thoughts not only their courage but also the harsh reality many face and how God Himself affirmed their claim. This is more than a Bible lesson - it’s a call to rise with the same conscientious spirit as those five sisters. To speak your truth and believe that your voice matters, your inheritance is secure in Christ, and your story can shift the future for generations to come.Tune in today and be reminded: God is faithful to those who dare to stand. Be astute, use wisdom in all of your affairs and let God have his way. I believe that God’s message to us women in this account is to use your voice to ask for what is just.Blessings, light & loveSalomé JacobsFounder Into The Garden & Team
There are seasons when life feels heavy, when every step is hard, when frustration rises, and when failure seems to echo louder than faith. But what looks like failure is often God’s preparation. In this episode of Sassy Soul Friend of God, we wrestle with the messy, unclear places of life. We look at the Jacob moments where struggle turns into blessing, where tears water the soil of resilience, and where frustration becomes fuel for breakthrough. And because this hits home, and because it's what I have and am going through and who knows you too, I penned this piece which was written in 2010 because in all of life's messiness, God still comes and pulls us through. This is a space for the weary, the broken, and the fed up. A reminder that God’s love is never failing, His presence never leaving, and His purpose never undone. Together, we’ll press in, press on, and declare: your mess today is the miracle of tomorrow. What you sowed in tears you will reap in joy.Blessings, light and loveSalomè Founder Into The Garden Podcast & Team
Check out our latest episode on Coffee Time With Doreen Rosslee: Be encourage through the word of God. Give To Gain is a worldwide call to contribute. In this inspiring conversation, Doreen from Canada invites us to look at giving through the eyes of women in the Bible. These women, though often having little, gave generously and in their giving, they gained. Their faithful acts of support and sacrifice became blessings that multiplied beyond measure. When we give, we gain. Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”See giving not as a subtraction. See it as intentional multiplication. When women thrive, we all rise. We shouldn’t see other women as competition because our superpower is when we come together to support each other, and in doing so, encourage, support, equip and thrive. Let us com together as women and inspire the next generation.Blessings, light and loveSalomè Founder Into The Garden Podcast & Team
The Bible features numerous women whose faith, courage, and leadership shaped history, from Sarah and Miriam to Deborah, Esther, and Ruth."Let us, the ordinary women, shape history in our unique way.By giving our strength, we gain resilience.By giving our voice, we gain change.By giving our creativity, we gain legacy.Every act of giving echoes through generations - proving that ordinary women, in extraordinary ways, shape the world."In this thought‑provoking episode, we reflect on the legacy of women - from Eve, the first pioneer of creativity and resilience, to the countless women who shape our homes, communities, and movements today. We ask: Are we inspiring the next generation of women? Are we giving our all, or are we falling into the trap of thinking we already have it all?Through stories of strength, ingenuity, and survival, this podcast honours women everywhere - from the quiet power of housewives to the trailblazing triumphs of leaders. It is a call to rise, thrive, shine, and abide. In this episode Elder Angela speaks and touches on the importance and effectiveness of persistence in prayer. She teaches on the devotion of Pastor Rick Warren and shares her own experience of being persistent.God always hears our prayers, but His answers may come in a different form. Sometimes He says "Yes", other times "No", sometimes "Not Yet", and sometimes He gives us something even better than what we asked for. So, don't be in a rush for God knows what's best for you. Trust and embrace the process, the waiting, the discomfort but know this, that God is grooming and setting things up for you. What would you do without Grace? Where would we be without Grace? In this episode Elder Angela shares a devotion from Rick Warren's It's All Because of Grace. It is only by His GRACE that we are able to do what we do. And what we do is as 'Unto The Lord.' When you welcome grace, you are not just inviting love and kindness into your life, but you’re also connecting to the God source who supplies and sees that whatever He has begun, is in the capacity to complete it. So, by tuning into this podcast and network through grace, you open yourself up to a wealth of experiences and feelings. A deeper sense of knowing of fulfilling and trusting God that wherever He leads or whatever He says, it’s as if life’s symphony plays a sweeter tune and that you are in sync too. Join Elder Audrey today as she teaches us the importance of Giving Thanks. She focuses on the book of Psalms 136.So, what are you grateful for today? As you tune in: May we be grateful as we sweat the small stuff. “Give thanks in all circumstances.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18a (NIV)Sometimes we want to claim our joy back when circumstances change but alas not really. It's during those crucial moments that when we sit down, we can jot down what we are truly grateful for. For in giving thanks your life can change for your betterment. That is your secret weapon by saying to God thank you in advance and for being in the moment. Should this episode touch your heart share it and spread the love as we impart. Surrender is a gift that you can give yourself. It’s an act of faith. It’s saying that even though I can’t see where this river is flowing, I trust it will take me in the right direction. So, give thanks with a grateful and sincere heart. “Gratitude turns what we have into enough.” — Aesop This is more than a podcast; it’s a sanctuary in a safe space.
