In this episode, we meet Dr. Sam Gosling, author of "Snoop: What Your Stuff Says About You" who shares his scientific insights into how personality and character can determine how we express ourselves in our intimate spaces.
Sam Gosling is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Texas, Austin. His research focuses on the psychology of physical space, how personality is expressed in everyday contexts, and on new methods for collecting data in the behavioral sciences. His approach is ecological, emphasizing the importance of studying individuals in their natural habitats. His current work aims to use psychology to inform architectural practice. His book “Snoop: What your stuff says about you” is based on the idea that we deliberately and inadvertently express our personalities in the environments in which we live and work. Clarivate have identified him as one of the most highly cited scientists in the world.
A Conversation with Ann Sussman author of Cognitive Architecture and co-founder of The Human Architecture and Planning Institute, Inc. (TheHapi.org) with Executive Director Abigail Sekely on how technology, eye tracking, and advertising can be applied to the built environment for the health and wellness of our communities.

Peter Martinez Zellner was the Ivan Smith Eminent Chair at the University of Florida, School of Architecture, and the Brown-Forman Visiting Chair in Architecture at the University of Kentucky College of Design.
In 2017 he launched the Free School of Architecture, a student-run, tuition-free experimental architecture school. Peter is an Executive Board Member of From Lot to Spot, a green space equity organization located in Boyle Heights.
Martinez Zellner holds a Master in Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Architecture from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia.
This fall, he will teach at the Pratt Institute's School of Architecture in New York.
