This story was mainly about my experience getting a UX Design job and dealing with a small startup in Austin, TX. I really wanted to move to Austin, but it almost cost me everything. UX Design is a valuable career, but you also have to know your value. Because companies will try to change things on you if they feel like they can. Stick to your gut and move forward. Whenever you are dealing with these companies, don't just take the first offer they give you. Also, if they ask you how much do you make at your current job don't tell them, but If you do tell them, add 20 -30k to your current salary and give them that number.
