Guest speaker Shady Gendy concludes our The Cross Equals series with a message on The Cross = A New Creation. The gospel doesn’t just change our status before God; it transforms our very nature and the way we live with others. Because of Jesus’ resurrection, we are no longer bound by sin but are alive to God, called to walk in the newness of life. In Romans 6–7 and 12–16, we see how the truth of the gospel reshapes our identity, renews our minds, and forms a new kind of community marked by love, humility, and devotion to God. Join us as we celebrate the risen Christ and discover what it means to live the transformed life, a life that is dead to sin, alive in Christ, and offering our lives as living sacrifices.

On Good Friday, Ps Sheron speaks on how The Cross Equals Adoption. We will reflect on the Cross and the great lengths to which God went in order to make us His children; co-heirs with Christ Himself.

Shamilla continues our The Cross Equals series with a message, The Cross Equals Access. She shares from Romans 8:1–13, reminding us that being a believer means daily access to God through His Spirit. Even in struggles, God is at work renewing our hearts, guiding us, and empowering us to live differently. We don’t have to face life alone – His Spirit gives freedom, strength, and transformation every day.

Ps Kyle continues our The Cross Equals sermon series, with his message, The Cross = Uniqueness. As we read through the early chapters of Romans, we see time and time again that God has been kind to us, even in response to our disobedience and sin. Romans teaches us of the goodness of God and the grace that God offers in order to bring us back to Him. We hope that as you listen to the message, you are reminded that God is pursuing you and offering a way to return to the peace and wholeness that only He can provide.

This week, we kickstart our deep dive into the Book of Romans and explore the Gospel in 5 parts, starting with the ‘Cross Equals Truth’. We look at the truth of the Gospel, the righteousness of God and the fallen nature of humanity in how we distort the Gospel. We hope that as we listen and take in this message that your gaze is re-oriented true north, towards the truth of the gospel in our lives.

For 75 years, Jesus has been our foundation — faithful, steady, unchanging. But the foundation of Christ isn’t just for stability; it’s for mission. The risen Lord who builds His church also sends His people. As we go — into our homes, workplaces, schools and neighbourhoods — we don’t just extend the gospel, we are formed more deeply in Him. We’re not just a church that has lasted 75 years. We’re a church built on Jesus, and built to be sent.

This week, Ps Kyle continued our ‘Jesus: Yesterday. Today. Forever.” series, and focused on our foundation being built on people who are willing and obedient to what God calls them to. God choosing to use people to spread his Good News and building his Kingdom is not a crazy idea that we thought of, but it was part of God’s plan and God’s design from the start. God chooses to use us.

Throughout history, kingdoms have fallen, empires have collapsed, and yet, the church of Jesus Christ still stands, His word is still relevant, and His work on the cross still saves today. Hebrews 10:24-25 reminds us to consider how we can spur each other on, and not give up meeting together, but to encourage one another. The church still stands today –whether it’s 75 years or 2000 years – because gathering as a body is not just a good habit, but Christ’s design.

Celebrating 75 years, we reflect on the unchanging Jesus. Ps Chee shared on “Jesus The Same Yesterday”, reminding us from Hebrews 13:8 and 1 Corinthians 3 that the church stands not on programs or people, but on Christ in our hearts. The question is simple: will we keep Jesus at the centre for generations to come?

We began our 2026 theme, “Jesus: Yesterday, Today and Forever,” as we mark 75 years of God’s faithfulness at Clayton Church of Christ. Using Hebrews 13:8, we reflect not on what this church has achieved, but on the unchanging Jesus who has carried, formed, and sustained His people across generations. This message sets the foundation for the year ahead — gratitude for the past, faithfulness in the present, and hope for the future — all centred on Christ alone.

Ps Chee concluded our Time With God devotional series with a message titled The Everyday Devil. Spiritual warfare isn’t always loud or dramatic — it often works through everyday vulnerabilities like unresolved anger, unforgiveness, distorted thinking, and unmet desires. We’ll explore how the enemy quietly steals, kills, and destroys in ordinary moments, and how staying alert to his schemes helps us choose the voice of Jesus daily and step into the abundant life He promises.

Ps Kyle concludes our Time With God Devotional series, sharing about what it means to live our lives in light of the eternity that awaits us. He will be looking at what it means to use the eternity that is ahead of us as the lens for how we view this brief earthly life. We want to learn to lift our eyes to see that we are part of something much bigger and grander than what we see and experience right now. We will be living eternity, enjoying God’s presence, which should have an impact on us now.

Ps Sheron continued our Time with God series with a message titled God’s Timing Is Perfect. Whether you’re waiting for a loved one in a hospital room or in limbo for a job interview, waiting can be one of the most emotionally exhausting places to live. But Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that when we wait on, hope and trust in God, He exchanges our weakness and exhaustion for His strength.

We had the privilege of welcoming guest speakers Derek and Esther Tucker from TheRiver.Asia Ministry College in Chiang Mai, Thailand. They’ll be sharing a message that invites us to reflect on our spiritual posture. So often, we can find ourselves timid or hesitant in faith (kittens in the Spirit), but what might it look like to live with the boldness and confidence of a Lion’s Roar? Together, we’ll consider how a courageous, Spirit-led faith could shape our lives, our church, and the society around us.

As we make plans and think about the year ahead, Ps Chee brings a message called Running to God for Life, inviting us to pause and reflect on where we really turn for hope, security, and meaning as 2026 begins. This sermon isn’t about trying harder in a new year, but about choosing a better direction—away from things that leave us empty and toward the God who gives true life.

For our final online Sunday of 2025, Ps Kyle shared a message on “How to End a Year”. In this message, we hope to unpack the beauty of being able to look back and acknowledge and remember what the Lord has done over the year, and then also being able to look forward to the year ahead of us with a resolve to trust God more fully. It can be easy to forget God’s faithfulness when we don’t stop to remember, so let’s take a moment together to do that. Also, as we look to the year that is ahead of us, we need to make sure that our definition of success revolves around us knowing God more fully and leaning on Him more closely. We hope that you look back on 2025 with fondness and anticipate God’s faithfulness in 2026.

Christmas isn’t just about something that happened long ago — it’s about being connected to the true source of love. In Jesus, God’s love came close and stepped into our world at great cost. Because God loves us first, we don’t have to earn our way in; being connected in Christ means receiving His love and letting it shape how we live and love others.
This Christmas message was shared by Ps Chee.

In what’s supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year, many of us watched the news with heavy hearts as the Jewish community were horrifically targeted and attacked at Bondi Beach last Sunday. Lives were lost, families were broken, and hearts were shattered. This Christmas, many in our community are shaken, grieving, and searching for meaning, and it’s into this dark and hurting world that Christ came as a light of hope and of peace. As the angels announced to the shepherds, and the star led the wise men to Jesus, we too, are called to do the same; to bring the light of Christ to our communities and to our neighbours.

As we lead up to Christmas, we’re taking a look at the people closest to us — family and friends — and how God works through those relationships. Matthew 1 reminds us that Jesus’ story starts in real, messy, but God-ordained connections. This week, we’ll think about what that means for how we love, support, and show up for the people in our own circles.

This Sunday, we began our Christmas series by exploring what it really means to be connected to God. As Advent begins, we remember that God is the One who moves toward us first – the Word becoming flesh to dwell with us. Advent invites us to slow down, to wait with hope, and to echo the ancient prayer of the church: “Come, Lord Jesus.” Join us as we open our hearts afresh to the God who draws near and reconnects us to Himself.
