Ps Sheron continued our Time with God series with a message titled God’s Timing Is Perfect. Whether you’re waiting for a loved one in a hospital room or in limbo for a job interview, waiting can be one of the most emotionally exhausting places to live. But Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that when we wait on, hope and trust in God, He exchanges our weakness and exhaustion for His strength.

We had the privilege of welcoming guest speakers Derek and Esther Tucker from TheRiver.Asia Ministry College in Chiang Mai, Thailand. They’ll be sharing a message that invites us to reflect on our spiritual posture. So often, we can find ourselves timid or hesitant in faith (kittens in the Spirit), but what might it look like to live with the boldness and confidence of a Lion’s Roar? Together, we’ll consider how a courageous, Spirit-led faith could shape our lives, our church, and the society around us.

As we make plans and think about the year ahead, Ps Chee brings a message called Running to God for Life, inviting us to pause and reflect on where we really turn for hope, security, and meaning as 2026 begins. This sermon isn’t about trying harder in a new year, but about choosing a better direction—away from things that leave us empty and toward the God who gives true life.

For our final online Sunday of 2025, Ps Kyle shared a message on “How to End a Year”. In this message, we hope to unpack the beauty of being able to look back and acknowledge and remember what the Lord has done over the year, and then also being able to look forward to the year ahead of us with a resolve to trust God more fully. It can be easy to forget God’s faithfulness when we don’t stop to remember, so let’s take a moment together to do that. Also, as we look to the year that is ahead of us, we need to make sure that our definition of success revolves around us knowing God more fully and leaning on Him more closely. We hope that you look back on 2025 with fondness and anticipate God’s faithfulness in 2026.

Christmas isn’t just about something that happened long ago — it’s about being connected to the true source of love. In Jesus, God’s love came close and stepped into our world at great cost. Because God loves us first, we don’t have to earn our way in; being connected in Christ means receiving His love and letting it shape how we live and love others.
This Christmas message was shared by Ps Chee.

In what’s supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year, many of us watched the news with heavy hearts as the Jewish community were horrifically targeted and attacked at Bondi Beach last Sunday. Lives were lost, families were broken, and hearts were shattered. This Christmas, many in our community are shaken, grieving, and searching for meaning, and it’s into this dark and hurting world that Christ came as a light of hope and of peace. As the angels announced to the shepherds, and the star led the wise men to Jesus, we too, are called to do the same; to bring the light of Christ to our communities and to our neighbours.

As we lead up to Christmas, we’re taking a look at the people closest to us — family and friends — and how God works through those relationships. Matthew 1 reminds us that Jesus’ story starts in real, messy, but God-ordained connections. This week, we’ll think about what that means for how we love, support, and show up for the people in our own circles.

This Sunday, we began our Christmas series by exploring what it really means to be connected to God. As Advent begins, we remember that God is the One who moves toward us first – the Word becoming flesh to dwell with us. Advent invites us to slow down, to wait with hope, and to echo the ancient prayer of the church: “Come, Lord Jesus.” Join us as we open our hearts afresh to the God who draws near and reconnects us to Himself.

We live in one of the most anxious generations in history. And yet, in Philippians 4, Paul writes from prison and tells us not to worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. It sounds impossible… But what if Paul isn’t calling us to suppress anxiety, but to surrender it? What if he’s inviting us into something supernatural – a peace that doesn’t make sense, but holds us together even when everything else falls apart?

Ps Kyle continued our Philippians as he shared from chapter 3, and unpacked the theme of heavenly or earthly mindsets. Life has a way of throwing twists and turns our way, and we do not always have control of what happens, but what we do have control of is how we view the things that are happening. We are invited to change the way we look at the world around us, invited to look at life through a heavenly lens. We are invited to step into the citizenship of heaven mindset, allowing the Holy Spirit to mature us and make us into disciples who represent Jesus well.

This week, Ps Chee walked us through Philippians 3 as we explored the Christlike mindset of choosing humility over pride. Paul shows how easy it is to measure our lives by the wrong things and how real confidence comes from knowing Jesus, not from what we achieve. When our identity and worth are rooted in Him, humility begins to grow in us and produces real kingdom fruit in our everyday lives.

Following Christ often feels costly, but the apostle Paul reminds us that joy grows when we serve rather than complain. Even in hardship, God is at work in us, shaping His character within. When we stop grumbling and start serving with joy, our lives become a radiant testimony that points others to Christ and draws people toward His grace. This Sunday, Ps Paul helped us unpack Philippians 2:12-30, and we affirmed Gladness over Grumbling!

In week two of our series in the book of Philippians, A Christ-like Mindset, Ps Sheron spoke on Unity over Discord. In a dog-eat-dog world where people will do anything to tear others down and get ahead, Jesus suffered in order to love others more than himself. The apostle Paul urges us, as Jesus-followers, to have the same mindset in unity, humility and love.

This week, we begin our new series through the book of Philippians, A Christ-Like Mindset. As we step into what God calls us to, we’ll face challenges, disappointments, and moments that test our hearts — yet Paul shows us how to think and live with the mind of Christ. On Sunday, 26 October, Ps Chee launched the series with Thankfulness Over Anger — uncovering how Paul, even in prison, chose gratitude over bitterness and kept Christ at the centre. Discover how a thankful heart can shift your perspective, disarm anger, and advance the gospel in everyday life.

On Sunday 19 October, we had the wonderful honour of welcoming our special guest speaker, David Gotts from International China Concern (ICC). ICC was founded in 1993 by David after seeing firsthand the suffering of Chinese children with disabilities who had been abandoned and left without hope in desperate conditions. His own life journey and work among the least of these are both powerful testimonies of God’s faithfulness and heartbeat.
As Founder & CEO, David, along with ICC’s leadership team, oversees the global work of ICC, as well as representing ICC around the world. He has lived in Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, and now resides in Vancouver, Canada.

We are honoured to welcome Dr John Wesly, pastor of Christ Worship Centre in Rajahmundry, India, where more than 15,000 believers—many from first-generation Christian families—worship and serve Christ together. Coming from a background where his parents ministered among communists and Hindus, and holding a Master’s in Mathematics (India) and a PhD in Philosophy and Theology (International), Dr Wesly brings a powerful blend of scholarship, testimony, and evangelistic fire.
Preaching from 3 John, he shared on what it means to experience Spirit-led fruitfulness—not just blessing for ourselves, but a holy walk with Jesus that overflows into gospel impact. He challenged us to examine our lives: Are we moving forward in God’s call, not to impress people but to truly impact them with Christ’s love? Are we living sensibly, bringing God into every place, and carrying the gospel to the world? This is a message for all who long to answer God’s call with courage and to see His Spirit bear lasting fruit through their lives.

In our When God Calls… series, we’ve been exploring what it looks like to respond wholeheartedly to God’s call in every area of life. On Sunday, we focused on Zacchaeus — a man who, despite his reputation and limitations, made himself available to Jesus and experienced a life-changing encounter. We discovered how being fully available opens the door for the Holy Spirit to work in us, bringing courage to step beyond comfort, face challenges, and live out God’s purposes. Please listen to this episode as we learn how availability meets God’s power, and how courage flows when His Spirit touches the deepest part of our hearts.
