It is also the natural start of the new year, which begins on the spring equinox, March 20 this year. That is the day when the Sun reaches the Zero Point, at 0 Aries. And what is happening at the point right now? Yes we have Neptune there and we did have Saturn there too just recently . And in March we’ll have other planets at that point. Plus a game changing eclipse. This is the annual starting line, the reboot, and the astrological birthday, so let’s celebrate. March is the 3rd month of the year and in 2026 it is a 4 year. 4 is the number of stability, structure, and grounding. There are 4 elements – water, fire, earth, and air. There are 4 seasons, 4 quarters in an annual cycle. 4 is the number of completion and of balance. With 4 we feel structured, grounded, and are standing on a stable foundation, , and it is fitting that we have a 4 month in March. The March energy theme reflects that with a theme of Rebirth, Reckoning, and Re-Structuring. We have rebirth with spring when all of nature returns to life after hibernating over a long, cold winter. We have a Reckoning as we make careful, deliberate, intentional choices about our life path. This includes where we are now and where we want to be, who gets access to us and our energy, where we spend our time, energy, and effort, and how we manage our energy resources. Re-structuring refers to how we will build our lives, and instead of choosing a random path, we have to become architects of our reality. With a focus on the path we can become victims to destiny, uncertainty, surprises, and unexpected events. As architects of our reality we have a design, a plan, and a vision of the outcome. It’s here, the end of the year and it is more than just a date. In December we complete several important energy cycles and prepare for new adventures in 2026. We now have Saturn and Neptune direct in Pisces, completing their rare and powerful transit. Neptune has been in Pisces since 2011, carefully holding space for our spiritual growth as we went through the tumultuous aspects of 2012 and then 2020 through 2025. Its mission in protecting and supporting our ascension cycle is complete and it moves into Aries to support our new integrated ascension path.So it’s fitting that December is a double 3 energy – 12th month is a 3 and December 2025 is a 3 as 12 + 9 = 21, 2 + 1 = 3. And in the tarot 21 is the World card, the final card in the major arcana. We also have a triple 3 on December 3 and 30, which we also had this year on March 30 and 30. This has definitely been a year for mastery and we are approaching the end so it’s time to wrap it up and prepare for something new.33 is the number of mastery but this is less about accomplishment than it is achievement. We achieve mastery with understanding and knowledge, and often acceptance. For many years, since 2004, I have said that our toughest lesson is acceptance and we have certainly had that in 2025. Mastery may feel like failure when our mastery includes lessons in clarity, energetic misalignment, and the realization that our relatives will never be ‘family.’ Or that the people we have tried so hard to bring to the light prefer to be in darkness. For me it was the first year in 7 years that I have not been in constant, horrible pain. That finally ended in December 2024 but getting back to a normal daily routine has been a struggle. I was dealing with the pain for so long that my normal routine had to be abandoned for what I could do. So this year has been a catch-up and I am finally getting to the point where I can feel productive and motivated again.And how fitting that it happens in this November with its double 11 vibration. It’s the 11th month and 2025 + 11 = 11. This means more emphasis on new beginnings, new pathways, and exploring new potentials. It doesn’t mean having to do your life over as we never start from zero. It means learning to let go of what you can no longer serve and start serving your own needs.What do you want? What would bring joy to your life? What does a joyful, stress-free and challenge free life look like? The karma cycles that have kept us in energetic bondage for lifetimes are unraveling as we see in the end of relationships that are now well and truly over, rather than in the way you have been trying to get them to go.That especially includes the relatives you call ‘family’ and have been trying to create your definition of family with. Remember in numerology you break numbers down to single digits between 1 and 9. After the double 9 of September, which created completion, closure, and release, October’s 10 energy means action, movement, and reclamation. 10 is the staff of action, 1, with the 0 of potential. 0 is not ‘nothing’, it is no thing, pure potential waiting for us to set an intention for energy to manifest.And one more thing about October, in the midst of the action, the month opens with the moon in Capricorn, harkening back to the heavy Capricorn action we had from 2020 to 2024 with both Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn and the infamous Saturn/Pluto conjunction of March 2020. This is not a dire prediction of bringing back the restrictions, evil, and 3D energies of that time. It’s the reason I moved all of the furniture in my office around, move the supplies and fulfillment for my Peau D’Ange Skin Care to a bigger space, decided to paint my dining room, and make some significant life changes.Those are fitting actions in a month whose number 9 invites endings, closure, release, replacement, all to make way for beginnings. The 9 of September in the 9 of 2025 is a 9. Did you know that one of the properties of the number 9 is that any number that is a multiple of 9 always adds up to a 9? It’s the only number with this property.The powerful 9, which is the anchored energy of the 8 expresses itself on September 1 which is a 10 day, new beginnings. All month we are invited to consider new potentials, allow new possibilities, be open to new perspectives, and to explore new horizons. If you remember back in 2003 when I started this journey with many of you, energy cycles seemed to happen much more slowly and last a lot longer. Weeks and months would be part of a single energy cycle – and the accompanying fatigue, anxiety, and other physical and emotional issues.Now they can happen daily and several occur in a single week. As we move farther up our ascension spiral we learn the lessons that help us move more quickly, absorb the information more easily, and take more determined, decisive action.We are less fearful and more confident, less hesitant and more aware, and less concerned about the ‘others’ and more focused on our own joy. At least that’s the plan. As we know it is not always that easy or clean, but it is part of the process.This week we have some more exciting energy events that may task us with some uncomfortable choices and decisions, some difficult realizations, and compel us to take actions we may not want to take. I am glad because I am not a big fan of hot weather. But it also means that we are moving quickly towards the end of the year and for some people that can be a reminder of everything that has not happened yet or everything that they have not done. But don’t despair, there’s plenty of time for taking action – aligned action, that is – and August is a great time to get started. While the Universe can be the source of frustrating delay, it can also create time warps and very fast action when that’s appropriate.We start August with Mercury retrograde in Leo. 2025 started with Mars retrograde in Leo and the strong Pluto/Mars opposition in Leo/Aquarius. Think of how this year began – Mars the planet of Action and ruler of Aries, the first zodiac house, opposing Pluto, the great transformer in Aquarius, the 5D sign. That was a marker for what we would be seeing all year, the light/dark challenges, the 3D/5D integration in full force, and the ongoing ascension path.August is an 8 month in a 9 year, and 8+9=17, 7+1=8. So we have a double 8 vibe this month and that’s going to bring more multi-dimensional work, more material/spirit integration, more 5D energy, and more energy expansion.The number 8 is associated with money, wealth, and power, as well as rejuvenation, restoration, and balance. July is the 7th month and July 2025 is a 7 month (2025 = 9 + 7 = 16, 6+1=7). And we have Mercury retrograde in Leo, echoing Mars’ long Leo retro earlier this year and it’s long Pluto opposition. It’s a great month for fun, fireworks, and fear-free transformation. Let’s get to it.First the numerology because we do have a lucky double 7 configuration so we have twice the luck. Some people will tell you that 7 represents the need to go inward, to hibernate, rest, rejuvenate, and restore your energy. I say we can do more with July’s lucky double 7s. 7 is a universal number that is present in so much of our daily lives. We have 7 days in a week, 7 chakras, 7 visible planets in the sky, there are 7 continents on the earth, and 7 seas. Gamblers refer to ‘lucky 7’.7 stands between the 6 of descension and the 8 of infinite awareness so it’s another ascension bridge for us in a time when we have so many of these in 2025 and in the month of July. We just may have some accelerated growth happening – stay tuned and be prepared.So let’s not start this month thinking we have to find some mountaintop to sit on for the next 31 days and contemplate our inner self while ignoring the world around us, trying to get the ‘next move’ right in theory before we put it into practice. We have a universal call to action here with the energy of descension to support it. I have been writing these monthly energy reports for nearly 20 years and each month is a new chapter on our ascension journey. Some of those chapters have been so challenging and others we just breezed through. You can read the monthly energy reports from 2011 onward at the blog page at enighteninglife.com/blog I will often refer to past energy reports when they are part of a new energy cycle, which is what we have this month.June is a 6 number vibe (June is the 6th month and 2025 is a 9 year, 9 + 6 = 15, 5 + 1 = 6). And we have another phenomenon this month, which we will have 4 times this year, March, June, September, and December. We have the 3-6-9 energy expansion which is what Nicola Tesla referred to as the ‘secret to the workings of the Universe’.6 is the number of service, health, well-being, and where we express our soul mission. 6 is also the number of descension, energy coming down to us, that we will use as we continue our ascension path towards enlightened mastery. Now this is not a one-time journey, it is one that we repeat many times in our lifetime. Every lesson we learn, every new understanding we align with, integrate, and embody, , is the completion of a soul mission and another step on our ascension path.I have said many times that we do not have a single ascension path; we have many smaller paths that are part of a much larger path. When we ignore our smaller successes and discount our progress because we think that we will eventually achieve ‘the ascension’ where everything works out and we are finally happy, we miss the entire purpose of the process.With descension we are receiving energy that we will need to complete part of our learning, healing, growth, and enlightenment. But this is not like a chauffeured limousine ride. It is more like the box of mystery ingredients on the TV show ‘Iron Chef’ and we have to try to make a meal out of substances that do not really go together. And our hero’s journey begins.June’s the beginning of the ‘better things on the way’ that I mentioned in the May Energy Report and the karma showdown. This is not the prescribed end to karma but an opportunity for us to decide to end it. Consider the difference in how you approach a choice you have to make. Do you state your intention boldly and clearly or ask those around you whether they think it’s a good idea? In May we have bold energy that can inspire action that is aligned with our deepest intention if we have the courage to make clear statements of direction instead of waiting for the right moment.This is going to be a powerful and interesting month and traditionally May is known as the month in which the flowers bloom and that is what is happening in my garden. After 7 years of work, my garden is finally settling in and blooming beautifully. Gardening is an exercise in patience, work, trial and error, and negotiation.If you put plants in the wrong place, they won’t thrive.If things change in the garden – like my neighbor’s two trees that fell into my yard 3 years ago during a strong storm, knocking down 2 of my trees and completely changing the light landscape, you have to rework your garden layout.Some plants just don’t grow;, others, like day lilies, cannas, and irises, grow so much that you have to thin them out every few years or they will take over your garden completely, choking out and stifling everything else.If you don’t like where certain plants are, you have to dig them out and place them somewhere else.This is what May is going to be like. We’re still in Aries season so action is the theme even with Mars in Cancer, chugging towards Leo and its upcoming showdown with Pluto (again) which happens in April. And we have a few more action elements in April that come into play so keep your intentions high and your lights bright because this is a stand up, show up, and lights up month.April is a 4 month in numerology as April is the 4th month and 2025 is a 9 year, 4 + 9 = 13 and 1 + 3 = 4. 4 is the number of stability, completion, and closure. It represents security, knowledge, confidence, and structure. There are 4 cardinal directions – East, West, North, and South, and 4 elements in the earth – Earth, Wind, Air, Fire. Think of 4 legs on a table or a chair, 4 wheels on a car. A square has 4 sides and it can be a box to stand on so we can rise above to the next level or a prison that keeps us penned in. With the 1 and 3 of this month’s 4 vibe, we can take the creative energy of March and take action in a balanced and stable way. No rushing out of the starting gate so typical of Aries, this is considered, measured, purposeful action, aligned with our intention.The downfall of the 4 is being too rigid and stable, set in their ways, stubborn, and unchangeable. 4 is at its worst when it is trying to be all things to all people, scattering resources, and lacking focus. Those are the elements that can make April a challenging month for some, especially those who get overwhelmed by all of the energy and try to hide out or stay the same because they fear change.April begins with the energy of March resonating very loudly – the entry of Neptune into Aries and the March 29 eclipse. Those two events have long term effects so just because we are in a new month doesn’t mean they go away. That just creates an energy signature for April. On April 7 Mercury goes direct and on April 12 Venus goes direct. Then the big event of April (one of them anyway) is Mars going into Leo (again) on April 17 and engaging in its ‘power to the people’ moment with Pluto as it did in most of December and January. And that isn’t all because in June Mars will be in Aquarius, meeting up with Pluto again. Then the Mars/Pluto connections will be over for the rest of the year.Before we continue with the rest of the month’s details I have to share something funny with you. I was thinking about all of the release work and shifting we have had to do as we choose between our ascension path and our karma because they really are not on the same plane. We have to decide where we are going to focus our energy. The problem is that avoiding the karma path means doing so much release work (note that I did not say ‘forgiveness’ work) that it can be exhausting and discouraging.How can we engage in that level of release work and move forward? Then I thought of goats, that we have to be more like goats. If you know anything about them, goats are remarkable animals. They are smart, nimble, can jump very high, and scale the highest peaks. Goats are ruminants, like cows, and they have a voracious appetite. Goats will eat anything, and a lot of it. They will clear out the weeds, brambles, and anything green in a large space in a matter of hours. They have thick skin that even the toughest thorns cannot pierce and one of their favorite foods is poison ivy.How do goats manage to eat so much? Because they have an extremely fast metabolism and they ‘poop’ as they eat. If you hire a herd of goats to do pasture or field clearing, something that has become very popular in recent years, they will clear out the weeds and any greenery and fertilize the field at the same time. They are the epitome of the saying ‘food goes in one end and out the other’ and it happens quickly with them.So if we are like goats we assess situations, consider our choices, and make our decisions to release as we move along. We do not need to spend days or weeks considering a move that we know could have happened months or years ago. The behavior we see in people now is probably no different than anything they have done for a very long time. We are seeing it from a different perspective today but they have not changed. Our choice involves whether we want that behavior in our life right now and that answer is usually no.The energy theme of April is Reconstruction but this is more like the phoenix rising from the ashes than trying to salvage the bricks from your old house to build your new house. If parts of your life have not been totally decimated since January, you may not be paying attention or you have already gone through that process in the past 5 plus years. As I said in the February Energy Report, the 11 number is the spiritual initiate path and it is always challenging because we have to face our own shadows and deal with where we have been sabotaging our joy, limiting our energy, and not taking care of our needs. That awareness can be shocking and unsettling when we realize that our inability to say no, to want to get acknowledgment, and to not protect our interests is what has allowed us to become the targets for the critics, judges, toxic people, and chaos in our life.But it’s time for a change and some creative being, thinking, and doing and March brings that energy into our sphere now. March is a 3 numerology (March is the 3rd month and 2025 is a 9, 3 + 9 = 12, 1 + 2 =3) and that is the number of creativity, companionship, positivity, and new connections. It’s also a number that encourages more energetic integration, congruence, and learning to see ourselves as multi-dimensional beings in a multi-dimensional world. We’re seeing more of that with this ascension cycle now, and this month will bring that to the forefront.March is also the end of the solar year as the Equinox on March 20 is the 0 Aries point and the beginning of a new year. While January 1 begins our calendar year, March 20 is the start of the astrological year and that is when the new year was celebrated for many millennia. This year the Equinox is a big Alpha Omega Portal, encompassing the entire zodiac from 0 Aries to 29 Pisces with all of the planets and signs represented in some form. It’s a fantastic way to start our solar year with the full chorus of the universe supporting us.In March we continue the spiritual cornucopia I have been writing about for several months now with a big presence in Pisces that will see up to 7 planets and points in that sign. The expander, Jupiter, is going to make that aspect much more all-encompassing now and bring three things forward:How we interact with our spiritual energyHow we express our spiritual energyHow we use our spiritual energy in our lives especially for release and transformation, and entering our new 5D portals.And we can’t forget Mars in Cancer is also going to encourage us to take action from our spiritual energy but not by becoming more spiritual. Instead, Mars wants us to use our spiritual energy to become more energetically integrated and empowered in the actions we are willing to take and to avoid getting caught up in our emotions. I know astrologers talk about Mars energy being diluted in Cancer but while that is not its best position, it is also making a strong positive aspect to all of the Pisces planets and that is helpful.
