In which we go over the results of what is probably AEW's best PPV to dateL Revolution. We go over the results and subsequent fallout from the show and where we feel things are headed from here.
Additionally, WWE has Elimination Chamber coming up - and with some of the bonkers decisions that have been made lately, we're not sure what's going to happen...or if we're even all that excited for it. We break down the card going into the show and see if we can make heads or tails of where things are going and why.Β
Oh yeah, there's also some of the lunacy from the last episodes of RAW and Smackdown (*cough Rowan's cage cough*) that we can just laugh at and lament (*cough Ricochet cough*).Β
Enjoy!
Well here we are, once again - it's your bestest buds, Rocky & Rick, bringing you their takes on all the happenings in the world of pro wrestling.
This week's main focus is going over things leading into NXT TakeOVer: Portland...but never fret - we still go over many tidbits from the overall wrestling landscape.
Enjoy.
Better late than never, amIright??
The majority of this episode is dedicated to the fallout of the Royal Rumble as we officially embark on The Road to WrestleMania (in bombastic VKM voice)!! It's a fairly exciting time see where we are collectively heading from a WWE storyline/storytelling standpoint.
Enjoy.
DISCLAIMER: We recorded this on the Thursday before the Rumble and things were a bit hectic and this couldn't get posted prior to the Royal Rumble...we'll cover the fallout on the next episode of the podcast.
Although the Royal Rumble is right around the corner, we first take a look at the happenings on the better wrestling shows of the week - NXT and AEW Dynamite. AEW in particular had some big things going on while on the Jericho cruise...but not to be left too far behind, NXT just put on another really solid show. It's great to have these two shows every week.
Not to downplay the WWE main roster too much, we are just about to start The Road to WrestleMania this Sunday with the Royal Rumble - and although RAW and Smackdown have been real hit-or-miss lately, there's always a god bit of excitement surrounding the Rumble, since it gives us a look at what's to come for the next bit. We give our thoughts on the announced matches and try to see how close we get to picking a winner for both the men's and women's Rumble matches.
Enjoy.
Aaaand we're back! And this time, we dive wayyy deep into all things NJPW, as last episode we had mentioned that Wrestle Kingdom 14 was coming up shortly - well, not only did it arrive, but made quite the impact and continued to cement New Japan's spot as the best wrestling on the planet.
Anyhow, we talk about lots of the matches and what we thought about who brought it and what didn't meet our expectations (if anything).
Enjoy.
Note: Due to some issues that arose this past week, we were unable to record a new episode of the podcast and therefore chose to delay the release of this recording by a bit - so obviously, in this week's podcast we are going over thoughts and predictions of events that have already happened. We should be getting around to covering the results this upcoming week.
In this episode, we go over lots of random WWE nonsense and kind of bury the lead of what we really wanted to discuss - the lead-up to NJPW's Wrestle Kingdom 14 .
Enjoy...and share with your friends.
Welp...here we are at the end of the year again, which means WWE is rolling out the huge cluster of a PPV that is TLC: Tables, Ladders, Chairs (and sometimes Stairs). Seeing as there hasn't been too much lead up time to this show, we quickly go over the available card for the show and make some quick predictions.
Aside from that, there's news of releases and suspensions and we pay closer attention to the happenings over on NXT and AEW the most...like many current wrestling fans. It is what it is.
Enjoy the pod.
Unfortunately, we had to take a week off to spend time just eating all sorts of tasty foods and whatnot...but we're BACK!
On this week's podcast, we go back a few weeks and touch on our feelings surrounding NXT TakeOver: War Games and WWE Survivor Series 2019.
You can say this episode is "EZ-PZ."
Enjoy.
That was one hell of an event, eh?
Whether you weren't into some bits or loved it all, we're running down the matches from AEW's FULL GEAR PPV event and giving our thoughts on the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Enjoy.
DISCLAIMER: For some reason, this post did not go up last week as expected, so we are re-posting this along with the newest edition of the podcast which discusses the fallout of AEW's FULL GEAR (for the FPU completionists out there).
As the title indicates, AEW is presenting FULL GEAR this upcoming weekend and as is tradition, we're giving our thoughts and picks on the matches on the card.
Enjoy.

As we all know, the wrestling world has changed as the Wednesday Night Wars are upon us...unfortunately, history was being made as we were recording this week's edition of the podcast, so we will have our thoughts on both AEW Dynamite and NXT on next week's episode.
Oh yeah, Hell In A Cell is this Sunday but as of this recording, there were only 3 announced matches. Listen to us go over them and speculate on what else could be added to the card.
Enjoy.
AEW'a All Out: fantastic
NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff: amazing!
Hence, we all won this past weekend...wrestling is just good.Β
Enjoy.
On this week's podcast, we go over not one but two big shows coming from this weekend - NXT UK's TakeOver: Cardiff and AEW's ALL OUT (sorry, NJPW's Royal Quest). Although we aren't as familiar with the rosters for either promotion, we are still hyped for quite a few of the matchups on both of these shows.
Additionally, there are always some of the key news tidbits from around the world of professional wrestling for us to discuss.
Enjoy,
So we're discussing NXT's Takeover: Toronto / WWE's Summerslam from a few weeks ago. We recorded this just a few days after, so that's why it's so fresh in our heads - it's the editing/posting that's slowed us down.
Should be back on a better schedule now.
Enjoy.
DISCLAIMER: we're obviously not on time...deepest apologies.
It's a Summerslam prediction show, HOORAY!
Enjoy.
It seems like it has been such a long time since there has been a slow week in the world of pro-wrestling but [thankfully?] this week has been pretty uneventful - especially considering the #RawReunion was all sorts of "MEH." Β Β―\_(γ)_/Β―
Have a listen and send any feedback over to our Twitter (@partsunknwnpod)
Enjoy.
What was meant to be an episode that covered A LOT of wrestling that occurred since the last podcast dropped - we spend the majority of this week's podcast going over WWE Extreme Rules. Additionally, we quickly touch on AEW's Fight For The Fallen right towards the end of the ep, so it's not an all-WWE episode.
Enjoy.
Stomping Grounds review!!! (Exciting, no?)
Aside from all that, there's plenty of news outside the wrestling ring - lots of it centered around a "verbal" joust on Twitter - and we go over as many of the big things as we can squeeze into the show.
Enjoy and don't be afraid to share this with a friend...and hell, while you're at it, leave us a review and rating on your favorite podcast platform.
Hoo-boy! So Super Showdown happened and a lot of calamity ensued - listen to us go over the nonsense that was this ridiculous event.
On a much brighter note, NJPW had their Dominion show and thankfully Rick was able to watch it and give us all a rundown of what went on both during and after the matches. There were also just a few other little news tidbits for the week.
Check it out and ENJOY!
