The Bridge Church is a varied group of people drawn together from many walks of life in Abbotsford and its surrounding areas. The church is all of us together! Here you will find our weekly meditations and sermons that we share in our weekly church services.

We kicked off our series in The Sermon On The Mount with a guest speaker, Bradley Jersak.  Eden Jersak was the host in the room and Amy Harless the host in zoom, leading communion in that space.  Many voices contributed to the Q&R and on this occasion have been left in so you can hear Bradley's responses to the questions and thoughts from the folks who contributed. 
Eden Jersak & Sarah Pickering shared the speaking this week to wrap up the Christmas story with the visit of the wise men, words for the year, and flight into Egypt.  Sarah was our host and Steve & Karen Mitchinson led communion.
Eden Jersak was our host today, Sherry & Karen were the readers for our candle lighting, Ruth Chesterman led visio divina (image on our website blog) and Amy Harless led communion.  Sarah Pickering spoke for the fourth Sunday of Advent on the theme of Love using the part of Joseph in the story of the birth of Jesus.

Eden Jersak was our host and our guest speaker for the morning was Shadia Qubti, a Palestinian Christian, living in Canada considering a land-based world view, the intersection of Indigenous and Palestinian understandings of land and relationships. Shadia introduces us to a book she is a co-author of called, The Cross and the Olive Tree.
Lando Klassen was our host. Eden Jersak led the Visio Divina - you can find the image on the blog on our website. Lea & Mark Greenshields led communion and then Sarah Pickering spoke from John 6 about Jesus - who is real food and drink and the practice of communion. 
Karen Mitchinson was our host today in the room, and Ruth Chesterman our host in the zoom space. Greg Kingcott was our speaker with all things fact and fiction about Thanksgiving. There is a special message from Ed Wilms the pastor of Emmanuel Mennonite Church at the end of our gathering. 
Our guest speaker this week is Judith Moses, joining us from New Bruswick. She shared her own story and the work she has been doing with the Anglican Church towards reconciliation.  Eden Jersak was our host and led communion.  Kathy Klassen led our Visio Divina - images on our website.
Sarah Pickering was our host in the in person space today and Ruth Chesterman the host in the online space. Stacey Chomiak was our guest speaker for Pride Sunday and spoke on being authentic and living from that place.  
At a special trial run in a new to us space at Emmanuel Mennonite Church, Eden Jersak was our host and Ken & Cheryl Creech led us in communion.  Sarah Pickering was our speaker, talking about A Jesus-y Kind Of Justice

Sarah Pickering was our speaker taking us on a practical exploration of the meaning of colour and how that might help us explore the ways that we see Godde.
