Welcome back to The Bundesliga Show! In this episode, the lads take you through the major talking points from Matchday 14 in the Bundesliga 2025/26! On Friday night, Union Berlin defeated Leipzig 3-1 in impressive style. A stunning opener by Oliver Burke was cancelled out by substitute Gomis. However, goals from Ansah and Skarke sparked jubilant scenes in Koepernick as the home side registered a key win. On Saturday, Leverkusen defeated Koeln 2-0 in a local derby in the Topspiel. The hosts won thanks to an improvised finish by Martin Terrier and a Robert Andrich header shortly after. Hoffenheim continued their strong Hinrunde with a resounding 4-1 win over HSV. They scored some well-worked goals through the likes of Proemel, Kabak, Lemperle and Asllani, with Rayan Philippe replying the the guests. Wolfsburg continued their recent improvement with a 3-1 win at Gladbach thanks to an inspired performance by Amoura. St. Pauli won the relegation six-pointer against FCH despite playing the entire second half with ten men. On Sunday, 1. FSV Mainz 05 almost staged the shock of the season against FC Bayern, but were pegged back to 2-2 thanks to a Harry Kane penalty. Lee looked to have given the Rhine-Hessen a famous away win in Urs Fischer's first league match in change, but the English forward had other ideas. Stuttgart produced perhaps the performance of the weekend, thrashing Werder 4-0 on their own patch. On Friday night, Gladbach edged out Mainz in the hosts' first match after the sacking of Bo Henriksen. A comical own goal by Danny da Costa was enough to seal three points for the in-form guests in a 1-0 win.On Saturday, FC Bayern thrashed Stuttgart in the Sued Derby 5-0. An opener from Laimer was followed up by a third Bundesliga hattrick of the season for Harry Kane, this time off the bench. Leipzig went one better in the Topspiel, embarrassing struggling Frankfurt 6-0 at the Red Bull Arena. Yan Diomande scored a hattrick in the second half, adding to goals from Harder, Raum and Baumgartner. Augsburg responded to the sacking of Sandro Wagner by easing past Leverkusen 2-0 in impressive fashion, and Heidenheim made it back-to-back wins thanks to a last minute Schimmer winner. On Sunday, the Nord Derby returned to the Bundesliga for the first time in 8 seasons as Werder Bremen visited Hamburg for what was a memorable clash. In the backdrop of a magificent atmosphere from both set of fans, the game burst into life thanks to a Jens Stage strike on the stroke of half time. The second half was a classic with Lokonga and Vuskovic strikes putting HSV ahead. Justin Njinmah levelled up before a famous Youssef Poulsen winner sparked huge celebrations for the home side. The hosts held out for a famous 3-2 win to continue their impressive Hinrunde under Merlin Polzin. Welcome back to The Bundesliga Show! In this episode, the lads take you through the major talking points from Matchday 12 in the Bundesliga 2025/26! On Friday night, Gladbach and Leipzig played out a disappointing 0-0 draw in what had been billed as a highly-anticipated match. Neither side was able to find the breakthrough despite Gladbach having a goal disallowed and a penalty overruled. On Saturday, Borussia Dortmund picked up a priceless 2-1 win at Leverkusen in the battle for Champions League football. Goals from Anselmino and Adeyemi proved to be the difference despite a late consolation courtesy of forward Kofane. Bayern were made to work hard for their 3-1 win against FC St. Pauli, as the vistitors took a shock lead early on. However, Guerreiro levelled just before half time, and after hitting the post three times in search of a winner, the hosts finally broke through thanks to Luis Diaz. Further gloss was provided to the scoreline by Nicolas Jackson. 1. FC Heidenheim earned a first away win of the season thanks to a sensational last minute turnaround at Union Berlin. Trailing as the match approached injury time, Schimmer finished smartly to level before a Jan Shoeppner header sealed a priceless win for FCH. On Sunday, the late drama continued as Hamburg earned a brilliant home win over VfB Stuttgart after a Fabio Vieira winner in the 94th minute. The hosts were down to 10-men as the away side levelled through another Undav strike, but held their nerve to strike late and send the Volkparkstadion wild. Mainz 05 turned in a horrendous performance in one of the most one-sided games of the season as they lost 4-0 at Freiburg. The hosts had already had a goal disallowed by the time Kubler bundled in yet anotther goal to add to his impressive career tally. The impressive Grifo doubled the lead before Nebel was dismissed for the guests. SCF added further gloss to the scoreline through Manzambi and Osterhage to send the fans home delirious. The result led to the sacking of Paul Simonis as VfL coach. On Saturday, Leverkusen embarrassed Heidenheim 6-0 at the BayArena. The home side had already scored 5 by half time! On Friday night, BVB edged past FC Augsburg in an underwheling match at the WWK Arena. Serhou Guirassy provided the only goal in a narrow 1-0 win. On Saturday, RB Leipzig produced a high-quality performance to see off Stuttgart 3-1 at the Red Bull Arena. Diomande was the star, with Romulo also getting on the scoresheet in a deserved home win. FC Bayern thrashed Leverkusen despite dropping Kane and Diaz to the bench. The home side still produced their top form, as they made it 15 straight wins in all competitions ahead of their huge fixture at PSG in the Champions League. Despite finishing with 9- men, the hosts were able to hold on quite comfortably against the off-colour visitors. On Saturday, FC Koeln scored a 104th-minute leveller at Wolfsburg in a 3-3 draw.
