The idea of what it means to be a man, is discussed in this episode. Topics will revolve around our social lives. Sub topics will include social situations with family, friends, our ideas of what it means to be a man within relationships, and a discussion of our self images will be presented towards the end. In this episode, we discuss two topics. The first, being the treatment of the blind & visually impaired community as it relates to agencies that are supposed to help the community. The second topic, involves a discussion around how these agencies can reach the youth better. This episode includes our personal experiences dealing with these agencies.
We re-introduce ourselves. As well as, introduce a new name for the podcast. We also get into our daily lives are like living with visual disabilities. Sub topics include, how our visual disabilities work, how our visual disabilities affect daily living. Differences between our visual disabilities. Difference between legally blind, visually impaired, and blind. And finally, try to talk about misconceptions within the community.
