The Drama Department of Huntingdon Community Radio are delighted to announce a new 15 minute comedy drama series ‘Ambleforth Manor’ written by local author, Patrick MacDonald.  The comedy will be aired during ‘Scribbler’s Hour’ commencing 30th September 2020.  Ambleforth Manor is a run down country house owned by the Colonel, his new Bulgarian bride and his son and daughter.  The house is maintained by a butler, housekeeper and gardener and a decision has been made to open the house to the public to bring in much needed funds.  Listen in at 7.40pm on the last Wednesday of every month to hear the antics of all  in ‘Ambleforth Manor’.

The Manor has to be opened to the public for much needed funds to help maintain the house an idea ut forward by Olga. Agatha, the cook, is not at all happy and refuses to speak with the public.  Hardy is not the best of hosts explaining the history of the manor to visitors.  The Colonel has a problem with a hive of bees and James, the butler will not give up his horn or gong!

The Colonel decides to get Olga a tank with devastating circumstances for the neighbours!!
A film crew move in next door to the Colonel, who is not too happy.
The next James Bond Film is being filmed on Lord Bosson’s Estate. Can Olga really pilot a helicopter?
This is the final episode in Series 1 where Juliet is delighted to have at least two lines in the Bond film and the Colonel decides to play a game of golf with Lord Bosson.  Lady Bosson is not at all pleased with comments made by her husband and James the butler.  Series Two will commence in November.
