This series focuses on the Hedge Knight, Ser Duncan the Tall (also known as Dunk) and his squire Egg.  In episode four, Dunk faces a trial for his crime of protecting the innocent. Dunk asks for a trial by combat which Prince Aerion declares must be a Trial of Seven, where each side must find 6 others to fight on their behalf in a 7v7 battle.
