Initial edits are important to the creative process. Spending a few seconds or minutes developing an image a little further than the out of camera settings can really help with creative inspiration and save you some time on choosing an image you won’t even want to edit later down the line. Culling or selecting your images is important and every photographer will need to develop their own system. Today I am going to explain what culling is and how you can develop a system of your own. I will share what I use to cull my images but keep in mind that you can use any software that can preview your files and allow you to make a selection.
